Personality

Most teenagers would be filled with energy and act very emotional towards others when they need to. But Amy is the complete opposite of it, she's a lazy bum. Amy is known for her lack of activity and her lack of displaying her emotions. On top of that she is very timid and relaxed, it isn't making it any better for her. Personality: "Dude, take a chill pill" is a phrase commonly attributed with this ebullient furball of unadulterated energy. Seriously, the gods must've cast an invisible umbrella over this guy's head, because nothing can rain on his parade. Except getting hit by a car. Maybe. Not exactly something he wants to test. This overly caffeinated snow hare of a human being is always in high gear, as if he views the world at lightspeed and operates as such. Barely anything can put a damper on the life-long excursion Zephyr's set out on. The boy's an overall amicable fellow, always offers a helping hand and therefore proceeds to lead the recipient of his grasp through whatever challenges lay in their wake.

Zephyr is a beacon of hope, and arguably, ignorance. Even towards the most pessimistic character he still acts in a cordial manner. Because of this, he doesn't always read the mood of certain situations, given that negative connotations hold no place in his internal dictionary. His blinding happiness, ironically enough, ends up blinding himself towards extremely pertinent points. When it comes to following his 'career', Zephyr still mains his happy-go-lucky personality, but follows through with actions without shattering his resolve in the slightest.

Bio: There isn't a whole lot of content to the forthcoming of the evidently carefree Zephyr. After all, it's not like every kids wakes up and jots down "I want to be an assassin!!!" on their junior high job sheet. To get the basics out of the way, lil' Zeph was birthed to a Russian father and a Japanese mother. Although the child never met the former, nor did he ever find out who accounted for a large portion of his genetic makeup. His mother briskly changed topics whenever the man came up in conversation, and his language was never taught to boy. Zephyr had stable childhood, with a mother who looked extremely intimidating in a business suit and tie. The boy's current taste in attire maaaaaaaaay have been influenced by her. Just a possibility.

But onto the interesting stuff. Zephyr had an inexplicably innate sense, one that he couldn't put into words. Not unusual, right? Lots of people have little parts of themselves they just can't explain. How Zephyr got into the whole practice of utilizing firearms and enhancing his inherent abilities is all but a blur, expunged from all recognition whatsoever. Oddly enough, his mother was supportive of his applying to Riddle Academy.

Rather than wallowing in self-pity, he's actually strengthened this facet into a positive ability. The boy's ability to feign innocence and act passively, until he's within breathing range.
Run and Gun - Zephyr's fighting style is more fast paced than most. He constantly stays on the move, and attacks in intervals rather than sticking around for an outdrawn firefight.

Personality

Nuo's personality can be best described as a hotheaded and arrogant, yet idealistic and decently charismatic girl that suddenly takes a sharp turn into a ruthless, stoic warrior on the battlefield. Interestingly, Nuo herself has explained that she has been quite aloof for most of her life, and has recently tried to phase that out to adopt an impulsive attitude in order to get herself an outstanding image among people and have some empathy, but tends to let it go and return to her natural self in combat as she can focus better on slaughtering that way. Nuo can be often an annoyance with her boisterous attitude, and is frequently insensitive, causing people with a particularly grim past to dislike her. However, she is not without compassion, and will be glad to help people out in any way she can.

The Jill the Ripper nickname, which she used to carry on as an everyday moniker at the time when her missions were more regular, has become more of some sort of an alternate persona nowadays. When in battle, the Ripper disposes any hint of empathy and quite a good amount of emotion. She identifies people as mere allies or enemies based on her judgments beforehand, and the Ripper, true to her alias, will make any attempt to sadistically shred her enemy into pieces with brutal efficiency until very much mangled beyond recognition, disappeared beyond sight, or she herself is in danger of dying and has to flee. Beyond the aspects of battle, the Ripper is an aloof and stoic person, a reflection of Nuo before her escape from the organization. The Ripper is more of a voluntary state and a mental tool rather than a case of multiple personality disorder, however, and Nuo can opt to stop or get back in any time. Note that in petty fights, training sessions, and battles where death of the opponent is to be avoided, the alter-ego is preferably not used. While she can apply her previous knowledge in such cases, she is less effective (and more trashtalk-savvy).

Some of Nuo's notable interests include spicy food (witnesses claim she has managed to eat a ghost pepper whole while keeping her face straight and not drinking water for an hour after finishing), coffee, action films, and comics, both western and translated manga (albeit she has not yet tried out the latter's greater-known animated counterpart).

Nuo can speak Chinese and English fluently, but strangely knows only very little Japanese.

Bio

To start off, let's have an influential Chinese cartel. Then have them abduct and kidnap wealthy tourists from a cruise liner. Now after taking their belongings, the leader allows some of the higher-ranked ladies of the gang to take one for themselves and go lewd on them, killing them afterwards. 9 months later, Nuo Aoi was born.

The gang welcomed their newest addition, but treated her like shit with their efforts to use the time of her youth into making her the best of the organization. Her meals had strange additions believed to improve her strength, some of which were industrial chemicals that often made her sickly and bedridden. Every day since she turned 4, Nuo had to undergo intense and sometimes life-threatening training for half of her day. The rest were either missions, or a marathon of action movies as "image training".

Nuo's brutality was a valuable asset for the cartel, but this was lost when she escaped at the age of 12. From then on, she made a living as a freelance assassin. The money she earned from the deals were more than enough to fill her necessities as well as enroll herself in school, and while being initially ignored for her aloof nature, she eventually developed a brash attitude from the influence of the students that gave people mixed opinions about her, but nonetheless helped her fit in.

However, she still had some difficulties plaguing her then. Most notably, there were people from the gang that chased her occasionally, initially to get her back, but went all-out after the casualties became too high. So much has been sent after her that even her mother became one of her attempted assassins, only to be ripped too by the daughter that has lost all compassion towards her. These events forced Nuo to move to Japan, escaping from the presence of the organization and with the objective to find her deceased father's family.

Nuo was steered away from this objective, however, upon hearing rumors of a prestigious school for assassins.

Personality: As his title suggests, Turner is a true gentleman. A chivalrous knight with a very different type of job, Turner is polite, refined and listens to everyone he can help. Turner has lived by a gentleman's code, which is even more evident by his British background, which really enforces the stereotype that comes with being a self-proclaimed gentleman. However, he is also really humble. He doesn't pretend to be better than everyone else or act high and mighty. Some gentleman turn their nose at those they deem below them, Turner places everyone he respects on a podium for him to aspire to.

If you befriend Turner, he is a selfless friend who you can definitely count on in any situation. He becomes very respectful, but as a child, he socialised with some... not so upper-class kid his parents would approve of. If you find him in his spare time, he is very casual... almost with a common tone, and wearing a black shirt, black and white checkered tie and a pair of jeans, listening to garage music from London. There's him on the job, then there's him when he just wants to be... normal.

Bio: Turner was given his job as a birth right. He was born into an emerging line of family assassins, however none have been to Riddle Academy. Turner was taught how to shoot a gun at 8, and swordplay at 7. Socialising with parents was learning mannerisms with his mother of how to be a fine gentleman and fencing with his father all in their high-rise apartment in the centre of London, which Turner did not hate at all. He saw this as normal as a child, before he slowly learnt and accepted his training.

However, in his free time where he didn't need the permission of his family, Turner ventured off with his friends which thought his dad was an accountant and his mother was a business woman. He would play football (or soccer to you Americans) and climb crummy buildings and see who could get to the top the quickest, which of course Turner did till he realised they never had a chance. (That's when he started to let his best friend win.)

With the initial training from his family being complete, he decided to further study at Riddle Academy. Turner will ensure every possible route is taken to become the perfect killer.

However, each assassin in their family have to be known for something. Something they are allowed no outside help to learn. Turner chose the art of interrogation. Whether it was holding a guard and immediately squeezing information out of them, or capturing and interrogating a HVT. This was the final test Turner undertook to be a Smith Assassin. Evidence- It took him ten minutes to break his own Father in a mock-scenario.

Weapon:

Gentleman's sword- Inside his cane, Turner can pull out a rapier-blade which is hidden inside the cane.

Silenced semi-automatic Glock 17 kept a hidden holster underneath his waistcoat.

Equipment: "Hack n' Go" Pocket watch- A normal pocket watch made by his butler (who was also the inventor of the William-Smith household.) which, if flipped open, turns into a portable hacking device which was given to Turner AFTER being run through a test to break a Government firewall. The result was obviously successful, but with the permission of the government. A soldier cannot be a soldier without his country.

Skills: Turner is a fine swordsman, a top interrogator, and all the other necessary skills to become a good enough assassin to actually go to Riddle Academy.

Safira could be compared to a wolf, silently stalking it’s prey for great distances and amounts of time, waiting for the perfect opportunity. She only speaks when spoken to, or when she absolutely must. Otherwise, she could melt into any crowd without a trace, which she has done on more than one occasion to escape.

When one actually does meet her and talk her up however, she is calm, polite and certainly does not resemble an assassin when out of her working gear. Safira speaks in a quiet voice and is very patient, as such she is very hard to piss off. Before one should even think to piss her off however, they would be wise to be mindful of how fast she is with a blade. ;)


Bio:
Safira was born into a rough life of poverty and her family was in and out of shelters, often living on the streets. Because of this, she learned how to defend herself very quickly, along with how to get around quietly and steal food from the local vendors so that her and her family could eat. Safira often went many nights without eating, both because she couldn’t find any, and she was conditioning herself to run off bare minimum nutrition so that she could feed the rest of her family more.

At the age of twelve, she was kidnapped with the intention of selling her off for ransom. However after realising no one would ever pay up for her life, they wanted to kill her. It wasn’t long before they realised she had potential after she knocked out one of the guards, and she was employed into a Portuguese gang, serving mostly as a lookout at first.

After realising she had potential as a fighter, they brought her to the higher-ups of the gang and she was trained by some of the best fighters in the country, both in armed and unarmed combat, with guns and blades. She became one the gang’s more valuable fighter and ended up earning them a decent amount of money.

Because she was still under age and that she had never been caught, her criminal record was clean and she ended up immigrating to America with the rest of her family. There, she learned even more skills as breaking into shops in town was much more difficult than in the slums of Portugal. Safira was put into a public school for two years before a lookout from Riddle Academy contacted her family, offering free education for her special skill set. Now, she’s in her first year at the academy, training with the rest of the students.


Weapon:
Twin throwing knives, strapped on top of each other on her right wrist. Can be deployed one by one with a quick flick of her wrist. Secondary use as a standard knife for hand to hand combat.

Normally for use in dire situations with multiple opponents, she keeps a combat sword mounted in a sheath on her left hip. It is light and razor sharp, more for slicing than for stabbing.

Most notable features are the mask that is attached to her face via bolts drilled into pilot holes in the side of her jaw. This mask has tubes running down behind her neck, then inside of it to her lungs. Smaller lines run from the mask to a metal implant in her left wrist where the cartridges are inserted to provide her with Cyanothane, the gas she breathes. On her other wrist is a smaller implant that resembles an IV line from a hospital. It serves as the delivery method for the nutrients into her system, via syringe.

Underneath her clothing, one would notice that her patient info is tattooed onto the insides of both wrists in the following format with a bar-code underneath:

The subject demonstrates no effort to communicate with people other than simple hand and head motions. There are no records of her making any audible verbal communications or sounds. The subject seems to be highly aware of its surroundings and while she seems to be weary of people, she has approached us in the past with a blank look on her face.

The subject is rather violent when provoked, it may be a side effect of the new serum that she has been given. Subject is normally emotionless, though occasionally will seem to be sad. Speaking to the subject has been useless, though it should be noted that aggressive speech seems to put her on edge and she seems to understand speech in many languages. The subject seems to learn very quickly.

Experiment Progress Log, Doctor Cavanaugh

- Day One: We received a new subject today, fresh from the orphanage in [The location is covered in black ink] . She looks a bit weak for the process but the boss says we’re to go through with it anyways. We’re starting off with a weak serum containing a diluted mixture of our two previous successful serums. I don’t expect much from her. She’s weak and sickly like the others that failed. We’ll see.

- Day Seven: The subject is looking stronger now that she’s eaten and taken a few doses of the serum. She’s up and walking, though has yet to say anything. I hope she stays this way, we’re almost at the point where most of the others have failed.

- Day Fourteen: After the last dose of serum she seems to have failed the test. It was only minutes after the last serum that she began to react violently, we had to gas the room to get rid of her before she killed another technician. It seems we’ll have to find another, stronger candidate. It’s sad really, her body still twitches every once and awhile. We’re monitoring her brain activity until she finally passes on. Right now, her eyes are still wide open and it almost looks as if she’s still breathing.

- Day Nineteen: By some miracle the subject survived, though she seems to suffocate when breathing in air. Constant gassing of the room is required to keep her functional. We’ve begun doing tests again as it seems her lungs adapted to breathing in the gas. Her eyes bother me though. They aren’t normal, rather a deep black with yellow pupils, as if the gas had some odd effect on them. Subject seems to still be a bit sluggish and drowsy.

- Day Twenty-Five: The subject is now back at full function as she was before, only she seems stronger.
I don’t know what I was expecting as a clue of success, but this seems to have been it. Our engineers are working on a breathing device for her so we can stop wasting so much of the gas to keep her alive, and so we can move her if necessary.

Upon closer examination the subject’s veins seem to run a black/green color, though her muscles are larger and more refined as expected. We’re going to be giving her a stronger serum next week. I have nothing but high expectations for her.

- Day Forty: Something went wrong. The subject just stands there and stares at us now and our technicians refuse to enter the room. She looks….almost sad. Her skin is pale but she is strong and capable still. After some evaluation, she seems to respond to and understand speech, though only with hand and head motions. She still has yet to speak.

On a different note, the breather we provided seems to work flawlessly as she can survive without the constant pumping of gas. Our technicians can now enter without fear of leaks in their suits.

- Day Four Hundred-Five: Subject is volatile and highly dangerous. She has taken control of the Prophets and killed the previous leader for what he did to her. She keeps me close as I seem to be the only person she trusts. She kills anyone that rises against her with fascinating ease.

Maven is the head of a massive criminal organisation known as the Prophets. They are known for her creation and the biological experiments they perform on people, often painful and lethal. It is recommended that she be kept away from anyone not part of the organisation.

Weapons:
She is armed with an FNX-45 pistol chambered in .45 ACP rounds. She keeps a suppressor for it hidden away for instances where total stealth is required. Alongside her pistol she carries a collapsible compound bow with arrows made of carbon fibre. They are extremely light and travel at speeds that come close to rivalling a bullet, tipped with a neurotoxin designed to stop the heart in a minute flat.
Alongside her pistol she carries a Baretta CX-4 rifle chambered in 9mm with a 4x optic mounted on top of it.

Personality: Calm and collected, yet generally care-free and upbeat as well. She is also fairly shy around new people but tends to warm up to you pretty quickly, that is unless you're a complete jerk.

Bio: Natalie was pretty much a normal girl growing up, she had nice friends, a good house, and parents that loved her. Her parents must've been involved in something shadier that Natalie wasn't aware of, because when she came home from school one day they were dead with a note stuck to a table with a knife that simply read 'Leave town, or you're next.'

She was both angry and scared, she immediately took up the notes advice and fled the state. She rented out a small apartment to live in after faking her credentials. Eventually she was invited to join Riddle Academy. She cautiously accepted, seeing it as a way to be able to get revenge against her parents killers.

Personality

Gareth is rather a timid guy, but he's not a coward. Whenever possible, he likes to avoid unnecessary confrontations, but when forced to deal with them then he improvises. If all negotiations fail, then he fights with hit and run tactics mainly because he is afraid of getting hurt himself. His lack of confidence greatly affects him in battle. He tries so hard to overcome it by masking himself as a happy energetic guy ready to take on the world, but his old habits tends to kick in eventually to remind himself that he is not really that brave.

The moment an opportunity opens up, he hesitates to take advantage of it, thinking it would backfire on him and make the situation worse. This kind of thinking also applies to outside of battle where he would have trouble asking a girl out or even simply picking what clothes to wear for the day. He is extremely cautious and vigilant on his decision making and actions which causes him to take forever to make his next move. As a result, his test scores are rather low simply because he never finishes them on time.

All Gareth needs is a little positivity to unlock his full potential, if he can somehow be inspired or motivated by something related to the situation then he can temporarily overcome his timidness. However, the moment something negative happens he just instantly reverts back to his nervous self. It would be rather comical to others just watching Gareth shift back and forth between his emotions.

Bio

Gareth had no intention of joining an assassin academy of any kind, but his friend 'persuaded' him to tag along with her. Emma was her name, a dear friend to Gareth for about four years. She was the one who wanted to be an assassin not Gareth, she was undoubtedly more courageous than him by a large margin. During his time in the academy, he did feel quite out of place compared to the other students. Maybe it was because of her, that he was able to get through the first year.

Around the start of the second year, tragedy struck Gareth when he found out Emma was supposedly killed during one of her assassination missions. Without her, Gareth thought he would get kicked out of the academy for his poor performance. His teachers had low expectations of him being a true assassin and was easily outshined by other candidates. One day he was forced to take a test determining whether or not he should be allowed to continue his stay at the academy. When the test was over, the teachers were rather surprised by the results and allowed him to continue his studies. Could it be that at his peak, he can easily surpass the rest of his class? When Gareth got the results himself, only one thing went through his head...

Skills

Agility- His hit and run tactics require him to move in and out fast before the enemy is able to react to him. Additionally it allows him to change his position often to confuse the enemy of his current location, opening up for long range variations of his technique.

Marksmanship- Shooting from a distance is his comfort zone. Even while moving at a fast pace, he is capable of having a steady aim at his target. More reliable than his swordsmanship skills.

Swordsmanship- Casual training with a blade time to time, much better than being unarmed in his opinion.

Patience- His long thought decision making can allow him to drag out a fight and delay the enemy to buy enough time for his friends. Although this is nullified when there's a time limit of some sort, causing him to go into a panic mode.

Adrenaline Rush- The power of positivity can allow him to temporarily forget about his weaknesses in order to reach the height of his power. Nullified instantly by negativity.
