"I think it will be quieter now. I know that you are not fond of Chias and pranksters. I can't say that I like them much. But they are about of life so we must deal with them." Katherin told her gently.

Standing in the doorway were two darkened figures. One much taller than the other, both dripping wet. As he stepped into the light, Xeron lowered his hood to reveal his face, blushed from the cold, dismal climate of his past destination. – Behind him a child walked in, peering around the new environment.

Xeron took a risk brining William to the Underground, but after discovering that all his relatives were dead, he thought it best. William, shivering, and damp was dragged behind Xeron who was looking out for anyone or rather anything that would prey on a pure human child.

Xeron placed William on a seat in the far corner and sat on the adjacent seat. Raising his hand to grab Liz’s attention.

“Two teas, please.” He called.

"Oh you poor things. Come sit by the fire. I'll get you some dry clothes and some blankets. Zakuro can you make them some tea please?." she asked her friend. She smiled at the boy. She loved children. She didn't care what race or species they were. She had a soft spot for all children. @LadyTale

"Of course." Abandoning her ritual, Zakuro hurried over to the kitchen area. Her quick hands gathered a kettle, a tin of loose leaf tea, two mugs, two tea strainers, and a jar of rock sugar. A bit of magic heated the water instantly, and as she prepared one mug with her hands, her magic prepared the second one at the same time.
"Here. Mint for the young one, and something a bit stronger for you, Xeron-san." Zakuro knelt and handed the tea to the boy. She was overly protective of young ones. "May I have your name, kit?"

Sorichiro noticed Xeron and a child entering the Underground just as he left. "Hey, guys!" He yelled, before jumping into the air and using his powers to make himself a surfboard/hoverboard thing. In about 15 minuets he ended up in a darkened alley. "Oh, so good to be back!" He turned to a green door, and knocked two times. An impish man with a scruffy red beard opened the door. "What is it?" He asked. Sorichiro said, "I came by red cab." The man grinned and said. "Long time no see mate, were right back here. Good to see you." Sorichiro nodded. "Same to you Will." He followed Will to a light room, with four other men playing poker. One of them, with masses of tattoos stood up and yelled. "See! I promised you he'd be here, and here he is!" Sorichiro rolled his eyes. "Hi Xaiver. Now down to business. Give me a map of their base, and a lighter. I left mine at home." He lit a cigarette and puzzled over a map for a while. "This is how a genius works." Whispered Will, to a new member.

After about five minuets he slammed his fist on the table and said. "Gents I have it. If we approach through here, we can hide in there wepon stash." The new member raised his hand. "Yes lad?" Sorichiro said. "But if we're spotted won't they have a serious selection of wepons to kill us with?" Sorichiro laughed. "Not when we're all supernatural beings." They all knew fully well there DNA had been fused with some kind of animal, but they escaped. "We have the most awesome powers, and there are like six of us. Anyway. Chris!" He pointed at a rather handsome man, with crazy blond hair. "I need you to hack into the security systems. Will, you come with him for cover. Newbie, you go with Xaiver to this room here." He pointed at a cafeteria sort of room. "Take the VX. Oh new kid. What's your name." The newbie said "Lionel." Sorichiro smiled. "Lionel, do not consume that food after we have infected it. Don't come into contact with the VX a at all. Ted," he gestured to a man with long balck hair who always wore a flat cap. "We shall go here, to a little turret to snipe out any who are gang members, or any guards. We reconvene in the turret. The we do a full on assult. Questions? No? Let's go lads!" They picked up the necessary equipment, then exited on the roof. Will Xaiver and Chirs jumped into the are and flew. They were half eagle. Lionel jumped and cast a sort of spell and flew. His family knew lots of ancient Magic. Ted streacher his arms and sort of flaps came out. He was half sugar glider. Ans Sorichiro used his ice board.

Derg flinched and smelled. "Ahhh, I smell, innocence." Smells again and looks to the door and spots the newcomer and the child. The lights began to flicker but Derg, respecting the place he was in shook his head and tried to control his urge.

Xeron took cautious note of Dreg, keeping one hand placed firmly on the hilt of his katana, ready to strike should he be a little too curious for his own good.

Both took up Liz's offer to get a seat by the fire. William was grateful for the extra heat and looked over towards Zakuro.
"I... I'm William"

"I am pleased to meet you, William-kun." Zakuro smiled slightly. "My name is Zakuro."

Liz returned with a pile close and blankets. The pile was nearly bigger then she was. "I prepare you both a room. The boy is welcome to stay with you if he rather but I thought I would prepare two rooms just in case." She said as she walked. "I brought you dry clothes. Although now that I think about it I could have left those in your rooms."

Derg inhaled and looked toward the child again. His urge was growing to strong. His hands trembling as he pulled out the orb of souls and placed his hand on it and felt the souls flow into his body. The Hunger of a Soul of a innocent is a drug to a lich, a powerful drug that if a lich was to consume the soul of the child. His power would increase tenfold.

Xeron looked to Liz with a thankful smile and offered to take the cloths from her.
“Two rooms will be great, thank you.”
William on the other hand looked back at Xeron with a slightly confused look.

“She’s a cat lady.” He exclaimed with a sense of disbelief in his voice. Xeron however just looked at him with little notice to the reason of his confusion.

“Well technically she’s a fox-demon-lady, I think.” He explained has he handed the cloths to him, noticing Derg looking lustfully at the boy. Xeron placed his hand on William’s chest and gave a slight smirk that only Derg would see. As to say: “The boy and his soul belong to me.” He then looked down at William. “You’re cloths are still soaked, Liz will take you to your room and you can get changed there.”

William's words prompted a slight chuckle from Zakuro. She had forgotten the way humans saw her, and how it amused her. Standing, she shifted back into fox form and curled up by the fire, falling into a light sleep quickly.

Sorichiro and the guys landed silently. "Ok lads, up here! Th vent leads directly to the stash. Chris, Will! When we get there, turn right. The security room is there." The guys pulled themselves up via chinks in the metal of the wall. By the time they reached the vents, Ted and Chris had several cuts on their hands and Xaivier was pretty tired. "Can't we just rest Sor?" Asked Xavier. Sorichiro shook his head wildly. "No, you can rest when we're finnished. Or would you liked to be drugged with my VX? I thought not." He crochet down in the air vents and becconed to the rest. "See that little spot of light? That's where we need to be. Onwards!" They crawled thoight the vents, until Sorichiro reached the end. He turned around and he whispered. "Lionel, pass the screwdrivers." He reached for two screwdrivers and quite easily took of the filter on the vents. He dropped down followed by the others. "Ok gents. Go about your orders. Oh, and when we recovine. We need to visit there little den. Let's go!"

Sorichiro and Ted looked at each other and smiled. They were tried and true friends and one of the best teams ever to grace the White tigers. "Ok, Ted. We bolt in three. One, two, three, bolt!" They jumped up and ran out of the room, and through a seris of corridors, seeming vacant. "Up here!" Ted whispered. They ascended some stairs until they reach the top of the turret. "Uh-oh! Ted, looked at those two. You take the one on the right." He drew a small pen-knife from his pocket, and tapped the guy on the left's shoulder. The man grunted at the guy with the glasses, and reached for his collar. Sorichiro quickly dodged out of the way kicking the man in the back. As the man stumbled to the ground he stabbed him twice in the jugular. "How ya doing Ted?" He asked. Ted had stabbed the man in the back without creating a scuffle. Classic Ted. For the next 15 minuets they were hiding in the turret, shooting any gang members with silenced sniper rifles, until the others came up. "What took you so long?"

They descended the staircases, and crept up to a large room, where four men where smoking, and playing roulette. The slammed the door open and Will yelled "Drop everything! We have you cornered!" One of the men reached behind him for a gun, and Chris fired his gun at him. It hit his hand. The man who had been shot raised his mangled hand and yelled. "Get them!" Sorichiro directed his gang towards a sofa. They flipped it over and hid behind it, shooting. Sorichiro and Lionel charged at the men. Sorichiro was shot in the arm. He used his gun to smack one of them in the face, before strangling him with his bare hands. Lionel had puched one over then shot him in the chest. The remaining man whimpered and said. "Fine take this land. But let me go please!" Sorichiro twisted the mans arm behind his back and said. "Ok then. But first, let's make sure you don't go anywhere." He matched the mad outside before using a rope to tie his hands around a lamppost. "Stay there!" He said mockingly.

In a short while the men where back in their base. "I should be going now. See you gents later." He left clutching his arm, and returned to the underground. He walked into the Underground, his white shirt stand with blood, holinding left wounded arm. He sat down by the fire.

"Come little one. Your room is right next to your friend's so he will be near if you need him." Liz told William. She hoped that he would be comfortable. She liked making everyone feel safe and welcome. She loved helping. It was one of the reasons this job had appealed to her. She lead the way down the hall.

When the scent of blood hit her nose, Zakuro stirred, looking at the man with the offending smell. When she saw who it was, she huffed, flicked a dismissive ear, and returned to her doze.

Derg, after absorbing enough of the souls to satisfy his hunger was visited by a messenger of the underworld. The spirit handed him a bloody torn scroll and left, derg read the scroll and stood, he placed a bag of gold coins and silver to pay for if he caused any property damage and vanished

William just nodded in approval and followed Liz.

Meanwhile Xeron took a seat and kept his eye on Dreg.

Sorichiro looked at the scroll Derg held curiously. He had never seen anybody still using scrolls that weren't in samuri movies. He walked over to Xeron, supporting his weak arm. "Hey!" He whispered. "You have any idea who that ghosty guy was? I haven't got a clue." @Legion-114

Liz smiled encouragingly at the boy. She lead him to a large room not far from the main room. "Just yell if you need anything."

Zakuro eventually got bored just looking at the fire, and expended a bit of magic to change its colors. The fire now looked like a miniature version of the aurora borealis. Letting out a satisfied sigh, she watched the ever-changing colors contentedly.
