Name: Stanley Humes.

Age: 25.
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Hazel
Height: 6'4".
Weight: 210 pounds
Classification: Eccentric but assumed mundane.
Powers: As an eccentric, he can manipulate his body in various ways. Some examples include altering muscle mass, or skin density. He is learning his powers, and how to use them, but also making sure it stays hidden from anyone. He can still be enhanced, making him a valuable “mundane” member of the team.
Picture:

Bio: Born and raised in eastern Missouri, Stanley never really had it easy. He was the second of two sons and from an early age, the parents gravitated to his older brother. While Stan was quiet and withdrawn, his brother was outgoing, charismatic, and into sports. His father was also was of the prior generation where things were different and masculinity was an extremely important aspect of life. His dad also struggled with depression and alcohol, occasionally becoming abusive, mainly towards Stan and occasionally his mother.

Being a quiet and reclusive wasn’t a good thing in Missouri, especially since as a white kid, he was a minority. His brother went to a separate school because of their age gap, so there was no help there. Add the lack of confidence and somewhat anti-social tendencies because of the relationships with the parents at home, things just kind of got worse. He took up boxing and then mixed martial arts around that time, working to be able to do it as his parents didn’t know, or care.

His brother got a scholarship to a major university and both parents could not have been more proud. It actually was a bit nice because the parents both showed Stan a bit more attention at that point, but that didn’t last very long. In his junior year at high school, he was involved in a fight with three other students and there was some pretty bad damage to all the students. When Stan’s parents were called away, they left the oldest son at home as he was visiting for a holiday. They had no idea that a group of criminals intended to rob the place and had been waiting for them to leave.

When they entered, they didn’t know anyone was home and there was a confrontation that led to the son being stabbed to death. While it was hard on the family all around, much of the family—especially the mom and dad, blamed Stan. Of course, just like anything bad that happened, it was his fault. Several days after the death and funeral, Stan left the house, graduating the next year.

For about 2 years, he traveled the country working odd jobs and ultimately fighting. He enjoyed it and while he wasn’t a professional, he won enough times and enough money to keep moving place to place. Not long after, he joined the Marines and served 1 tour in Iraq and 1 in Somalia. After being discharge, he joined the police and married a girl he’d met in the service. The two divorced about a year and a half later. As an officer, he was notoriously difficult to work with and didn’t open up to partners much, if at all. He’d also volunteer at the worst areas and work many tactical deployments because of his military training. This led many partners to bail quickly as it seemed he had issues with aggression and had little regard for his health or safety. With mixed reviews, he was eventually recommended to the ASA and accepted.

Personality: Stan is tormented. He struggles with degrees of depression (undiagnosed) and is often self loathing. He has a low sense of self and sometimes thinks the only thing he can do to make himself important is to do good things--even at the expense of himself. He’s still quiet and withdrawn and turns to drinking on occasion.

Deep down, he’s a good person who wants to do good but battles his past, much of which he hasn’t explored with anyone else. He definitely has issues with his sense of identity and seems unable to move out of the past and become something more than a continuation of his past.

Name: Kenji (Ken) Grazuyai (Granderson).

Age: 275.
Hair: Brown.
Eyes: Brown.
Heights: 6’2”.
Weight: 240 pounds
Classification: Werehyena.

Bio: Originally Kenji Grazuyai, he now goes by Kenneth (Ken) Granderson. Kenji is actually originally from Japan but has not been there in over a hundred years. He was born into a samurai family that ended up traveling to Africa where he was bitten by a hyena but survived. He didn’t know at the time, but that was another werehyena and he was infected at that point. Upon his return to Japan he got sick and started experiencing odd changes, vivid dreams, and seemed to be having animalistic urges. He changed one day and was fortunate enough to harm no one and not be seen. When he told his family about it, they banished him, cursing him for a demon.

After that, he stayed in the woods, learning to deal with his powers and cope with his changes. He eventually started to get a solid grasp on his abilities and what it meant to be a skinchanger. This allowed him to move back into society, this time working as a ronin under a new name. After several close calls with people who recognized him, he decided to go to America and start over.

It was rough and in his time here, he has seen people live and die, he’s fought in wars, started new lives and witnessed much. In that time, because he was not in a clan and had no ties to other supernaturals, he was extremely lonely. The only times he’d met another changer, the two ended up fighting to the death. This happened about 4 times. He wasn’t sure if it was because they were other breeds, or on their territory, but he hadn’t had a good encounter until the early 1900’s.

He met a werewolf at that time who explained that skinchangers were generally hostile towards each other, especially over territory. But as the world got more civilized, so did a great many clans and they tended to be more open to others now. The wolf also mentioned that Kenji was an odd breed of changer, having never seen a hyena changer before. He also mentioned how that breed was odd in that they were matriarchal, led by females which was not common at all.

From then on, Kenji went on living, searching for a clan but having no success. Eventually, he joined the ASA after they tracked him down. On top of a noble job, he hoped to be exposed to something in terms of a clan or network of people where he could be more at ease and more of himself.

Personality: Kenji is very quiet and guarded but he isn’t uninviting. He is slow to bond but can eventually once he believes he can trust someone. For the first time in his life, he is not hiding or acting and it’s finally starting to sink in and relax him. In combat he’s very violent and aggressive.

Name: Skye Asselta
Age: 24
Classification: Supernatural, enhancer. Gifted and educated in healing magic.
Personality: An ambitious and goal-oriented young woman, Skye constantly feels an innate pressure to prove her worth both to herself and others. Her standards on both herself and those she work with are very high, and her perfectionist nature can cause her to be an annoyance to work with if the people around her does not have the same attitude—she knows the struggles she has been through, and will let little stand in the way for achieving what she wants to do.

Still, Skye remains a thoughtful and perceptive young woman. She does have a hard time trusting people around her, but she thinks, feels and cares a lot about them—perhaps even too much. While she carefully listens to and happily chats with other people, she avoids talking about the depths of herself and her own past. Maybe a way of avoiding her own issues, she simply focuses on others, both privately and professionally.

Bio: When Skye’s mother was in her early twenties, she met a charming young backpacking tourist from somewhere in northern Europe while working her usual evening shift at a bar. Although she only remembered his first name, he left her after their single shared night with what would be her first-born daughter. Up until middle school, Skye was raised by her mother in a poor, urban part of upper Connecticut. While Skye’s mother did her best to provide for her daughter, she struggled to maintain a job for a longer time due to her inherent supernatural abilities. Her mother always tried to hide her abilities, believing that she would be better off as a mundane, but her refusal to acknowledge them only caused her to lose control over when and how she used them.

Instead, Skye’s mother began relying on men to survive financially. Skye moved with her from apartment to apartment—whenever the men grew tired of her mother's erratic nature spurred by her inability to control herself, she soon found a new man to share her bed and pay her bills. After a couple of incidents involving both drugs and violence, Skye left her mother and went to live with her trusted grandfather who had just moved from Maine into a suburb in southern Connecticut. There, she grew up in peace from her tumultuous childhood, living with the father figure she never had. A retired man, her old grandfather spent his days driving her to school, cooking her dinner and helping her to learn how use the enhancing abilities she inherited from her mother. Skye had, like her mother before her, been ashamed of her abilities, but she failed to hide them from her grandfather. Since he lacked any supernatural traits himself, he soon became an easy and willing target for practising, for he suspected that, like Skye’s mother, his wife had hidden her abilities from him and died without ever recounting them.

It was under her grandfather’s care that Skye went to eventually take the test that proved that she was, indeed, a supernatural. Out of guilt that he didn’t take care of his daughter or wife, he saw to it that Skye got the proper education to learn how to use her enhancing abilities, and soon registered her with the government and League of Magic. During this time, Skye flourished and became an outgoing young girl.

In the last semester of Skye's final year of high school, however, her beloved grandfather passed away. One day, she stood waiting outside a school building that grew increasingly empty as the afternoon wore on. Upon having decided to walk back home, she met with two police officers that had already taken her grandfather’s body to the hospital. She was never told why he died, and the event took a heavy toll on her. Luckily, however, her grandfather passed on his house and all of his savings for Skye, which enabled her to remain independent from her mother. As soon as she graduated from high school, Skye sold his house and spent the money on her college tuition, refusing to return to the town where her mother lived.

Once she graduated from college, Skye sought work at the ASA, hoping that her work there would help other supernaturals from growing up despising themselves like her mother and even Skye herself at one point did. Perhaps resembling her mother more than she knows herself, Skye never had any success with relationships. Instead, she keeps focused on work during the days and meets with her friends at different bars and restaurants during evenings before retreating to the quietude of her own home.

Name: Audrey James
Age: 25
Classification: Mundane, but arguably eccentric, seeing as she has highly attuned senses. Both a gift and a curse, her senses allow her to hear, see, smell and feel everything in great detail—often helping her in her work to notice things that others may not, but sometimes making her feel overwhelmed and nauseous. She doesn’t acknowledge that her senses might be eccentric, but simply believes that there is something wrong with the wiring in her nervous system, and has learnt how to take advantage of it.
Personality: Sometimes, being with Audrey is like being caught in a whirlwind. One minute, she will be a spontaneous, happy-go-lucky young woman who can't wait to head out on the next adventure, while the next moment, she will crash into retreated silence. Most of her secluded retreats stem from her inability to monitor how her senses perceive the world around her—whenever there is an overload of information, she has a tendency to withdraw, or worse, snap.

Nevertheless, since she has learnt how to deal with the majority of what she refers to as her "sensory issues", Audrey most of the time remains an easy-going, carefree girl to be around. She requires a lot of stimulation to avoid being bored, but for Audrey, there is a fine line between just enough and too much.

Bio: Audrey was born the youngest of two sisters into a family that seemed to have it all, with her parents working for the government and earning decent wages that paid for a nice house, a couple of cars and family vacations every year.

The first time that Audrey realised that something might be a bit different with her was when her parents took her to an amusement park in her early teens. As soon as Audrey saw the hysterically twinkling lights and heard the disturbingly loud music shrieking from the speakers, she felt dizzy. The world started turning faster and faster around her. Before she had a chance to sit down and recollect herself she fainted and didn't wake up until later at the hospital. The incident became the beginning of an investigation initiated by her worried parents, where it eventually was concluded that at least the girl didn't suffer from epilepsy or any psychiatric disorder. Perhaps it was just hypersensitivity or teenage hormones—either way, Audrey and her parents had to accept the doctor's lack of explanation, and went on with their lives, content with that whatever happened that caused Audrey to become nauseous every now and then, there was at least nothing wrong with her.

Audrey grew used to her occasional seizures as she learned to control and focus on what of the constant sensational flow was important. Her life returned to normal, or at least until the day that her parents revealed that they were getting divorced. Their divorce became the beginning of a downward spiral—feeling that world that she had learned to grow comfortable in shatter beneath her feet, Audrey spent more and more nights away from home, and developed a worrying tendency to pick less than desirable company.

After an incident that nearly cost Audrey her life, her father offered her an internship at his office at a federal agency. It was a desperate, but successful, attempt to get his daughter back on track—she enjoyed the nature of the work and her keen senses proved quite useful. Eventually she was hired full-time and transferred to the ASA. Of course, there are many people that gossip that Audrey only got the job because of her father and his connections, a statement which, although partially true, she is intent on proving wrong.

Name: Tom Groves.
Age: 24.
Hair: Brown.
Eyes: Brown.
Weight: 210 pounds
Classification: Magic user – summoner.
Powers: Can summon physical objects to him, and teleport object he had in his hands to a place. The objects must be visible, or he must have a very pristine mental image of where they are to be able to do so. Using his magic taxes him physically and mentally based on the frequency of use and the size of the object.

Picture:

Bio: Tom was born and raised around Chicago and joined the Marine Corps, serving for 4 years. He got out and eventually went to school and in the middle of transitioning from school to working, the world changed. Out of nothing but curiosity, he took a government test to see if he was imbued with any SN power and it was discovered that he was.
His military training made it an easy transition into the government job and he was tutored by a League teacher in the ways of a summoner. Most of his powers center around him being able to summon things to him but he can also additionally summon things he touched and have them appear elsewhere, so long as he has a pristine mental picture of the location.

As a kid, Tom’s father left and he was essentially working to help his mother pay for the bills around the house. His mother was a huge part of her life, but she’d passed away several years ago.

Personality: Contrary to his background and abilities, he's somewhat of a quiet individual and some would call him a closet nerd as in his off time, he plays video games, talks about comics and the such. While generally silent and insulated initially, he's one of the most selfless, duty orientated individual and extremely loyal to those who he calls friends.

A lot of her initial lessons were self taught, but eventually her parents found a LoM teacher and sent her away. She returned back to her parents for a year before leaving to find a life of her own, one that brought her from local law enforcement to the to ASA.

Personality: Christy is very talkative and friendly. She is what some may call liberal. She is very peaceful in spite of her job that is occasionally violent, but she looks at it being necessary to stop violence with violence on occasion.

Name: Nicholas Forster
Age: 70 years, but in appearance, around 30.
Classification: Supernatural, vampire.
Personality: A man of old, colonial traditions, he may seem stiff at first, but it is merely his mannered upbringing that restricts him from relaxing in impersonal spaces.

While Nicholas is a polite man, he does enjoy making fun of and teasing those around him once he knows them. He sometimes feels detached from a world where little to excites him, although he seems happier working within the ASA than he was previously.

Bio: While his father was an American working in the small Asian island of Singapore, his mother was of half-Indian, half-English descent. At the time, the small British colony was blossoming into a prosperous port, and Nicholas' parents met in the early 1920's at one of the many events held at an international country club. Despite their different backgrounds, the two soon got married, and had a couple of kids, including Nicholas.

During WWII, Nicholas' father remained in Singapore to protect the British colony against the advancing Japanese threat. In 1942, however, the island came under Japanese control, but Nicholas managed to escape alone to his father's native USA before anyone caught him.

In America, he encountered a clan of vampires. Long story short, he was eventually offered to join them by a seductive, old vampire lady, and accepted the offer without much consideration. Living so far away from his family in such tumultuous times, he reasoned that he would never meet them again, and might as well find a new family with the clan.

Within a couple of years, however, Nicholas grew tired with the seclusion of the vampire scene. As soon as the supernaturals were exposed and the ASA was established, he joined, and became a useful member due to his vast network of connections within the previously hidden supernatural communities.

Name: Emily Soto
Age: 32
Classification: Mundane.
Personality: Emily is a resourceful woman who loves challenges and working with the humans around her. She is good at reading other people, but sometimes forgets that they do have feelings, and sees them as mere objects for logical analysis.

Her set organisation and focus on routine makes her a helpful member of the team, but sometimes she can act a bit too systematic. Emily’s gifted in languages and communication, and suspects that she was employed within the ASA not only because of her logical approach, but also because of her being multilingual—besides English, she speaks Spanish, French, Italian and some basic self-taught Mandarin.

Bio: Emily grew up as the oldest of three siblings in the southern Californian coast. She comes from a middle-class family, and did well in school, which allowed her to follow her passion and continue to study languages after high school. Having already learnt Spanish from her parents as a child, Emily found that French and Italian came easy to her.

Emily was, and remains, academically gifted. She finds it easy to learn, and enjoys challenges and solving puzzles, which is why she joined the ASA in hope of learning more about the supernatural communities.

After graduating college, Emily went on to marry a guy named Sebastian. They have two children, of six and three years respectively. To Emily's constant irritation, people often seem to question Emily's choice of career and how that works for her as a mother. Eager to prove everyone that working within the investigative unit of the ASA is not incompatible with her motherhood, Emily tries to combine the two successfully—sometimes finding herself drowned in random assignments and to do-lists.

Name: Kirk Givens.
Age: Looks late 50’s.
Height: 5’10”.
Weight: 170.
Hair: Grey.
Eyes: Blue.

Bio: Chief Givens is the highest ranking officer in the ASA Indianapolis. He reports directly to the director of the FBI and occasionally the vice President and President. Very often he ends up in the middle of political drama but does his best to shield his agents from getting caught in the crossfires.

He is very by the book and sometimes seems somewhat cold. He tries to stay out of the agent’s dealings on a day to day basis, but will intercede and get involved where he sees it is necessary. He tries to manage a fine line between letting the agents work autonomously but also keep a tight hold on things.

It is known that he is an SN as there is a file on him, but that file is locked to anyone and he never speaks of it. He also never smiles.

Name: Darius Mashinski.
Age: 29.
Height: 5’8”.
Weight: 190.
Eyes: Green.
Hair: Dark brown

Classification: Supernatural.
Powers: Shapeshifter. The more in depth and constant the change is, the more he becomes physically affected, needing lots of rest and sustenance.

Bio: Darrius is a Polish American from Indiana. He was raised in a lower income area that was primarily made up of working European families. Around his junior year in high school, he realized he could change his face slightly. He was, and still is, extremely intelligent and methodical and took lots of time working on his powers and learning how to use them and deal with the physical toll it took on his body. He learned he could change features initially but then learned he could change muscle tone and mass.

After high school, he realized he could change fingerprints, blood types, and other things and decided to take full advantage of this. He would “rob” banks by assuming identities of rich people, simply walking into banks, passing ID tests, and walking out with large sums of money or goods from safety boxes.

Eventually an ASA agent caught him and after a long period of juggling, threatening, and posturing, it was decided that he could join and have his charges dropped.

He is an experienced boxers, street fighter, and has been training in muay thai.

Personality: Darius is a flirt, he’s loud and boisterous, and extremely outgoing. He looks at his job as something he has to do in between drinking and partying. He is friendly and tends to always focus on the good side of people and ignore the bad side. He needs more supervision than a lot of the other members though and is constantly getting flack because of this.
