Funny enough, I was in need of an Imperialist power who oppressed my people to the breaking point. Let the halfling conflict commence.

I'm also wondering if there would be any biters for a napoleon esque history with me, preferably more than one person.

My idea is that my nation, maybe ten to twenty years ago expanded into its neighbors forcefully. Maybe overtaking a few nations and occupying for a while until the nation either got beat back by a group of other nations or it buckled under its own weight. Idc which one.

My intent is to have a nation that got beat and hasn't recovered, is heavily in debt due to reparations for previously occupied nations and full of sanctions and treaties resulting in a very screwed nation.

It'll add some spice and I'm open for discussion regarding potential occupiers and treaties!

Type of Government: Totalitarian Eccelesiastical Autocracy. meaning that the Head of state is not only the head of the Church and state but also has full control of all military forces directly (although in recent years his military powers have been delegated to the High Command of the Holy Novgorodian armed forces.)

Head(s) of Government:The Highest position in the government is Tzar whom is regarded not only as the king and leader of the Novgorod but also as a God on earth and it is believed his word is the word of god. The Title is currently held by His Holy Majesty, Great Prophet of the Holy Temple, Keeper of the Holy Canon Code, and Autocrat of all the Novgorods Igor the 2nd.

Economy:IN the past the Novgorodian economy was that of a manorialism. but due to the reforms of Tzar Pytor The Great the system of manoralism was abolished cutting out the middle man consisting of the nobility and aristocracy. In its place Pytor replaced it with a form of state capitalism in which the economy is controlled by the government with the private citizen allowed to form and run businesses but under the condition that the state recives the profit and the citizen is paid a percentage of these profits depending on the area of business and merit of the person.

It was there upon the peak of Gora he Declared the founding of the Holy Tsardom of Novgorod. it was also there upon the peak of Gora he wrote the first of the Holy Canon codes detailing both the religious and governing laws of Novgorod. since the line of Tsars have all had a direct line of descendance to Rurik.

Military:The Novgorodian Military has a long glorious history of triumphant victories against the various heretics and non believers which from their founding have surrounded them. this military dedication has been the cause of years of a forced meritocracy in the military and a forced draft of any and all able bodied men for 5 years active military service and 10 years in reserves aswell as a required membership in the local militia until the age of 60. this combined with a large population has swelled the Novgorod armed forces to a massive 2.25 million troops and a 5 million in both reserves with more men serving in national guard and in local militias.
Dwarven Troops:

One thing that the Novgorod military lacks is a large and modern navy due to this the Novgorodian navy is not much of a power on the sea leaving the nation open to both blockade and amphibious attack.

Economy: Even with the poor state of the nation, its economy has stayed moderately strong due mainly to their innovative industry. Trawans flood the worlds market with easy to export weapons and commodities.

Industry: Of the few things Trawans have to be proud of, their heavy industry is at the top. Massive factories with monstrous machines, conveyors and assembly lines pump out items ranging from pocket watches to aircraft. These objects are all well made yet still affordable on the global market.

Navy

The Trawan navy was at one point, one of the largest surface fleets on the globe. After the great war though, this number was cut severely. Many of its surviving battleships either captured or scuttled.

After the war, the severe limitations placed upon Trawa prevented massive battleships from production and a tonnage limit removed any chance of a legal large navy. They worked around this with the onset of the submarine.

The Trawans poured a vast fortune in to the submarine and using their relatively light tonnage due to the lack of heavy surface ship armor, was able to create a vast fleet of these famed undersea predators.

Economy: Largely agricultural and horticultural economy due to lack of industry. 65% of Gross Domestic Product in 1904 was generated by fish and grain exports to other nations. Caste system within the societal construct has created an immense surplus of easy, cheap labor.

Military
Military: The Imperial Fusanese Army (IFA) is the first and last line of defense for the Primary Islands of the Empire. As a heavily fascist nation with a required three year draft, the IFA handles over 1.2 million men at various levels of mobilization. The Imperial Fusanese Headquarters utilizes mass wave attacks, and thus prefers quantity to quality.

Ill make some heavy progress on my ns once the ooc pops up but so far I'm sticking with heavy industry. Mass producing rifles, automobiles, aircraft and dishware sets.

If we truly have a global economy, Trawans will have a huge part in it.
