Biography: She was born from a rather rough household, and ended up getting kicked out at the age of 18. She worked as a pipefitter from the age of 18 to 23, buying herself a rather nice home and finding a girlfriend while on the job. She enlisted soon after, going through a grueling basic training. She served five years as a recon sniper. She returned home to find her girlfriend had been cheating on her for four and a half years. She broke that relationship off and ended up getting in a barfight with her two best friends. She won, taking a fair share of the beating before she was thrown out. Biography: Born to a sweet-hearted, well-read pharmacist (a minotaur) and a washed-out wannabe rockstar (sort of a squid type creature), the first few years of Summer's life were uneventful and stable. She lived in a two story home in Maine with a medium sized backyard and had a dog named Grover, went to kindergarten through third grade in Wilson Pass Elementary, made a few friends despite being sleepy and kind of a brat--all the normal things you'd expect from a child. Unfortunately, trouble in paradise came in the form of a housefire and her parent passed away, leaving Olivia with a sufficient inheritance but no available relatives.
Bounced around from foster home to foster home for the next decade, Summers developed the concept that if she didn't love and help herself, no one else would. When she turned eighteen, having graduated high school with an impressive 1.5, there were many reasonable options presented to her by the state as to what her next step in life would be, but Summers turned them down. She moved out of her foster parents of two years' little New England house and has been sleeping on an old mattress in an alleyway for the last few nights (and days).

Des has been a faithful Reaper for his existence... up until he let a soul escape death. Nobody knows why, and he himself won't explain it. Some think it was love, but Des had not been in an earthly form for over a millennia. Some say it was because he was tired of being a packhorse, but why wait for so long and get to so high a rank in the Reapers, only to toss it away? Needless to say, he has been lowered to the lowest rank and nobody trusts him. He carries a heavy burden, both from the mystery soul and from the dark angels newfound hatred of him.

Personality
Flirty and charming, Des certainly knows how to get what he wants around women. He's charming and witty, but he never manages to have his own heart stolen... right? Surprisingly not. Des has fallen in love with many a mortal, but has usually had to leave for his Reaper duties. He has a dangerous side, and if someone crosses him, they almost never make it out alive, dark angel and mortal alike. If they do, it's with their resolve shattered and their bravery gone.

Biography
Des was brought into existence by the dark angels, and lives his 'life' as a Reaper, collecting souls and bringing them out of the mortal world when their time has come. He was one of the best, and gradually went up the ranks of dark angels, becoming the very highest, second only to the Grim Reaper. Des was able to collect millions of souls all at once, and once he even collected all the souls from an entire day on his own.

When souls escape, it means that they are free, and become ethereal beings in themselves, free from both the mortal coil and the afterlife. The more ethereal beings there are, the more chaos is unleashed into the universe, and the harder it is to stabilise good and bad. When a dark angel lets a soul go, they are punished severely, and if they are a low ranked angel, they will more than likely be stripped of their soul and destroyed.

When Des let that soul go, he relinquished his ranking and his respect among the Reapers. He was put down to simply directing souls once they had been brought to the afterlife, and he was condemned to never go back to the mortal universe, at least for a few more millennia. Many Reapers have interrogated him, even the Grim Reaper tried, but Des refused to give any information or reason.
