I don't smoke anyways so this doesn't bother me too much.
Plus smoking isn't being made illegal, a store/company/health care provider/whatever they're meant to be is simply making a decision to not sell a certain product anymore.

Vaping > Smoking, and it's super-friendly to purchase your kit and juice online (although you should probably go to a smoke shop for your first setup).

The only (only) reason this article concerns me is, my semilocal CVS is the only half-decent liquor store within a hundred miles, and it sounds almost like liquor might be next on their list. After all, it's 'inconsistent with their purpose.'

I wonder how much hate mail they got before they made the decision, though, somewhere in the back of my mind.

As best as I can recall working at a convience store a few years back, this isn't such a big hit to their pockets. Cigarettes are not that big a money maker for stores, the overhead is expensive. They're there more to get people into the stores, like lottery tickets and beer, in hopes that the customer will spend money on other things that have a higher profit margin.

It's the same here. Supermarkets are the only other place that really even sells beer, aside from actual liquor stores. (The CVS stores around here have no alcohol whatsoever.)

I can think of 9 for sure liquor stores and about 8 other places to buy alcohol.
Oh yeah, and we have two breweries here too.
