@Sterling, make chars that YOU feel you want to explore. That’s always my advice. Groups that “fit” are not really fun. I cast for conflict, haha.

I’m going to add to the OOC with some things to keep in mind over the next few days. Feel free to check out my characters to get some rough ideas about what’s going on and what I expect.

Oh don't you worry about it. I didn't respond until now cause I was doing errands. Not because I was miffed and was intentionally ignoring you.

I kind of mirror what Az said. Make the characters you want. From there we either jib or clash. That's the fun in all this!

I'm still working out my characters. Depending on which group you choose, an entirely different experience will arise no doubt. I'm not too sure how the walker group is starting out, but I think that particular group is sandbox for now yes? I'll have to go back and read the OOC to see if I missed anything and/or updates Az may have posted up.

@Vilhelm I'm game for making a walker group. More fun to ride out the apocalypse together, no? Shoot. You said to PM you. Oh well. Consider this a forewarning to a potential incoming PM.

Quick question about seasons, I assume that we play for while and some major plot thing happens. After that season is over and we take a break and then come back later with our surviving characters? At least that's how I understood it, but maybe I read it wrong.

Anyways if anyone wants to join with me, the characters I'm thinking about are above. They'll all be walkers. PM if interested.

@Vandy Correct, but I'll elaborate a bit more. This will be the cycle of the seasons.
1. I will make the OOC, lay out specifics, recruit people, and talk to you all about things you liked, hated, or want to see, pitch ideas and let new/old players decide how they'll meet and work out potential plots and internal stories.

2. We'll start the IC. At this point, NO NEW PLAYERS ARE ALLOWED FOR THIS SEASON. The season will generally start AFTER the "main event" of the last season and end with some significant event of it's own. It may be something relatively small, like a character dying, and the next season picks up with them coping and dealing with that. It may end with finding a safe zone. It will not always be a physical place they get to that signifies the end of a season.

3. The season ends. I'll recruit, talk to you all, bullshit in the OOC... Then I'll start to set up an OOC/IC for the next season, and it's rinse and repeat from there.

The purpose of seasons is to give us as players a break, and allow me as the GM to have set times to "restock" when players leave. This way... If a season ends and hypothetically, EVERYONE leaves, fuck it. I'll just recruit for the next season.

Most important, in my eyes, it gives YOU PLAYERS that stick around the mentality that your time means something. You'll see the seasons come and go, and develop into what I consider a "core" player, not only in THIS RP, but if I start others. It makes this more than just an RP.

A rather vain lady, she joined the Navy as a Medic a for a few years (2012-15) to pay some bills and develop some skills. Not really enjoying the military life she left when her contract was up and pursued a life more devoted to the things she likes, makeup, high heels, tight skirts, fancy hair etc. working at a bank.

Of course when the shit hit the fan all of her military training actually came in handy.

@Sterling Your char has the tools to survive with her medical and navy training, so that's a good thing. I'm going to make another character shortly, and once I post it in the CHARACTERS part, I'll let you see if you feel like running with him or her. I'm game if you are.

Please start paying attention to the OOC section, SECOND post. There are new hiders there with information. At the bottom, there is a small list of what I've updated, when and where that can maybe help keep tabs on that.

Additionally, that SECOND POST is where I'll be posting any NEW information, in case things get swallowed up in the OOC section.

A few things to note:
-You can make multiple chars. I encourage it. But by no means do you HAVE to.
-Walker characters can start with other player's chars, or by themselves.
-At some point, all characters will meet. Various Walkers, and the CDC group.
