so, when it comes to angel wings, are they simply hidden beneath the skin of their back or are they on an astral plane that no creature other than angels and demons can see until the angel makes their wings corporeal?

Wings fold into the shoulder-blades and merge into the skin on the back and thighs when not in use, giving the appearance of normal human skin to lay low.

Once the Angel/Demon decides to reveal their true form, the wings separate from the skin and extend fully and become operational to fly.

I am under the impression that Angels and Demons can levitate at will as well :)

Wear gloves when making contact with a Vampire or make sure they are wearing fabric to cover their skin, its only upon physical skin-to-skin touch! :)
