Axiom Biome

• Transits are elevators to the surface, only accessible from central.
• Omega Watch is an agricultural science, research, and maintenance outpost that also has high capacity housing barracks for the biome workers.
• Alpha Watch is an animal science, research, and maintenance outpost that also has high capacity housing barracks for the biome hunters.
• Bravo Station is a weather station which monitors the artificial weather and oversees the pumping of fresh oxygen to the underbelly of Axiom, and filtration of carbon dioxide to the biome area.
• Yellow roads are main road around the biome used mostly by the smaller service and cargo vehicles, and the larger worker transports.
• White roads are smaller, service roads typical for foot travel and smaller vehicles.
• Blue Roadsigns are highway markers.
• Light Green splotches are the colder woodland areas, typically host frost and snow.
• Darker Green splotches are the warmer woodland areas, typically host to cooler temperatures, and occasionally a fog of varying density.
• The woods are dangerous, not all critters and creatures that live there are friendly, but are apart of the ecosystem.
• The mountains are capped with snow, represented by the lighter gray coloring.
• Brown Spotting are clear cut areas, where the forest is cut for wood and then accelerated back to growth for cutting again. This is done so as not to disturb the ecosystem.
• The area outside the biome is toxic, for as long as anybody can remember. Whatever event transpired is archived away, but left the oceans and the air outside polluted and unable to support the lifeforms of Axiom. The water within the biome is safe, and supports a host of small to medium sea life.
• The biome is safely protected by a large, essence infused glass. This glass is incredibly dense and is able to repair cracks and wounds in it's surface, slowly, but surely.

Axiom Underbelly

• White Lines represent the walls seperating the districts, and are 200 stories tall.
• Gray dots mark the support columns, holding up the hardplate and the biome area above. The Five main columns are the largest.
• The Gold Circle represents the road that intersects all the districts, and passes through the single gate in every wall.
• The Red Circle is Central, which also acts as the central support column, while actually having another hard column constructed in its center.
• The very outer circle is the structural wall, extending from top to bottom just as Central does.
• The Numbers represent the districts.

Measurements and Math

Each Measurement Segment is about 60 miles. There are Seven Measurement Segments, making Axiom approximately 420 miles in diameter. Districts are about two segments (120 miles) at the outer edge, and about one segment (60 miles) at the inner edge. Central is about two segments (120 miles) in diameter.

Average person can walk est. 3mph (20hrs per Segment).
Average person can jog est. 8mph (7 1/2hrs per Segment).
Average runner can run est. 10mph (6hrs per Segment).
Average sprinter can run est. 15mph (4hrs per Segment)
A vehicle moving at 45mph. (1 1/2hrs per segment)
A vehicle moving at 60mph. (1hr per segment).
A vehicle “Hauling Ass” at 80mph (45min per Segment)

The underbelly is approximately 1 mile tall, 5,280ft. The average “story” of a building is about 10-12 feet. The underbelly can support “528 stories” of a building. Slums buildings do not exceed 50 stories. Average buildings are 10-25 stories and are typically connected with a skywalk. Central is 528 stories, visible, and an additional 22 stories inside the hardplate, totaling 550 stories. The walls are about 200 stories.

Each wall has a horizontal tooth-fit gate about 40 yards, this is about:
(75 people abreast with an average shoulder span of 1.6 feet)
(7 and a half “mid” sized cars measuring 16 feet in length)
(10 average tanks side by side with a 12 foot width)
(1/3 an American Standardized 120 yard football field.)

Axiom is 420 miles in diameter, or 138,544 square miles.

Roleplay Rules

• Respect your GM: I will do my best to respect you, your feelings, and your opinions as long as you respect the fact that this is MY world. Please do not argue with me or anyone I choose to make a moderator, and if you absolutely must, please do it over PMs. I accept critique and input as long as it is done with relative courtesy. I do however, reserve the right to change my mind.
  
• Before starting world wide events, large plot movers, or other such events please PM me to ensure it does not conflict with unrevealed lore or current plants. I also reserve the right to take anything your character does and twist it into afore mentioned items to incorporate their actions into story progression.
  
• I incorporate as much depth and consistency as I reasonably can within a fantasy world full of robots, elves, guns, and the like, and I expect you to at least attempt the same. Or, be open to making edits or changes. Characters magically stumbling upon what they need or magically realizing the way to win a battle without some sort of process are some of these situations, please try to make it believable.
  
• When applying, your character shall be posted in the OOC. For discussion and approval.
  
• I am prone to using gore, violence, killing children, trauma, and taboo subjects. I even describe breasts, albeit vaguely. This roleplay is for those who are mature enough to handle such things. Players Must be 18+.
  
• This roleplay does not use the Turn-by-Turn system. Here, we go Day-By-Day. Users are allowed to post as much as they like, or as much as needed. At the end of the posting cycle, once everyone has concluded for the day, make us aware that you are ready to begin the next day. The next day does not begin until I say so. I still expect posts at least once every two weeks, life permitting. Extensions are permissible, everything has a circumstance. "Life" is not always an excuse, I have a busy life too.
  
• This roleplay and all of its participants also adhere to The Fundamental Rules of The Guild and Moderation Policy in the RP Sections.

I do have a question, more specifically a question regarding colors. What color crystals do what? Do you have a guide set up, or are we free to create them as we see fit? Oh and what would you say is allowed and not overpowered in regards to the abilities these crystals bestow on our heroes(?)/characters?

Physical Disabilities: None notable, though Theodore has an uncomfortable crick in his left wrist thanks to an ill-advised adventure in District 2 in his formative years.

Physical Identifiers: A trustworthy goatee, comically-large ears, and an unsightly mole on his right cheek.

Other Indentifiers: The Whitesnake family signet ring is widely known amongst anyone with a reason to know-- all sorts amongst the upper class can recognize it, from idle nobles to up-and-coming scholars. Worn conspicuously on his right hand at all times, the signet ring is as much a part of Theodore's personality as his actual personality.

Appearance: Theodore Whitesnake is, at all times, an intense-looking individual. The most vividly appropriate descriptor for Theodore's nigh-permanent countenance is thus: Theodore looks like a constipated dog that has just discovered that the beef bone it had been given was actually made of papier-mâché. An aura of perpetual disappointment penetrates Theodore's very being, and is extremely difficult to change.

Theodore is dedicated to appearing aristocratic at all times. Dressed in red velvet and black finery, Theodore makes no bones about his wealth.

Reveal Information

Residence: Theoretically, Theodore Whitesnake lives in a-- speaking relatively-- stately estate in the midst of Central itself. In practice, however, Theodore much prefers the accomodations of Luther Palm's Boarding House, in the quiet poverty of District Seven.

Profession: Thanks to the concentrated efforts and good fortune of his ancestors, the Whitesnake family is wealthy enough to survive off its own coffers for two generations, if need be. As such, Theodore spends most of his time idle and bored out of his mind-- when he's not deliberately making an ass of himself at political gatherings and getting into ludicrous amounts of danger on the surface and in the slums.
Aligned Faction: Whitesnake is primarily aligned with Central, and sees no reason to disrupt the status quo.

Backstory

The Whitesnake family has forever stood as a shining pillar of the Central community, if one ignores the incessant politicking, wanton undermining of others' authority, and criminal actions enthusiastically undertaken by every member of the extensive family line. Theodore Whitesnake is certainly not an exception to this rule, and spent most of his childhood abusing his peers and mercilessly vying for control over his classmates. In between his malevolent, purpose-driven socialization, Theodore Whitesnake did quite well in school and grew to be of a dastardly intellectual turn of mind.

As Theodore moved past adolescence and into adulthood, he realized that the social arena, while infinitely challenging for him, had long ago ceased to be intriguing to him. Theodore craved action and adventure, more than anything. And so, Theodore sought his jollies outside of Central-- and into the Districts.

The secret to getting into the Districts from Central is known to a few brave individuals, and working it out of them takes fantastic luck and skill-- skill that Theodore fancied he had. It was by pure chance alone that Theodore Whitesnake's head maid had hired on a new servant by the name of Rick Boll. Demonstrating the Whitesnakes' worrisome knack for intruding on others' personal lives, Theodore approached Rick Boll with honeyed tone and silver tongue, and attempted to make a fool of Rick. From what he'd seen of Mister Boll, he was a bumbling lout with no marketable skills. Yet, as Theodore was about to find out, he seemed to hold a diabolical mind within the cresses and folds of his startling idiocy.

Rick, altogether too clever or too thick to be tricked into hanging on Theodore's every word, masterfully placed himself in a position of power over Theodore: Rick knew how to sneak out of Central and into the slums for an extended period of time, and apparently carefully made it clear that he wouldn't part with this information for free. Theodore, quietly incensed by Rick's utter nerve, promptly placed a kingly bevy of benefits on Rick's occupation-- increased wages, special treatment, his own dorm in the Whitesnake estate, and the privilege of being Theodore's own right-hand man. After bestowing all these priceless gifts upon Rick Boll, he finally consented to teach Theodore how to find ingress into the Districts.

Ever since then, Theodore Whitesnake often made stealthy expeditions into the Districts, for fun and glory. Countless harrowing near-misses with the denizens of the Districts, equally caused and solved by Rick Boll's actions, served to both sour Theodore's opinion of the Districts and grant him a sense of childlike wonder about Axiom's myriad mysteries. Though he is loath to admit it, he has found a worthy ally in Rick Boll-- and no one else. At a glance, it seems that the relationship between Theodore Whitesnake and Rick Boll is as caustic as a bottle of brown sauce in an acid bath, it is tempered with the kind of camaraderie only found in those who have been through thick and thin together.

Unusually for one belonging to Central, Theodore spends most of his time in the slums. Much like the archetypal big game hunter, Theodore enjoys plunging headlong into unfamiliar territory, with nothing but his wits, his guns, and Rick Boll. Theodore's ultimate goal is to gain considerable control over both the Districts' underbelly and the Central tower, and will do anything to achieve that goal.

Gear

Weapons: Theodore Whitesnake is a marksman at heart, and so outfits his arsenal with one obscenely-powerful unique weapon, and several less unique weapons. Each of these have been acquired at great expense over the course of Theodore's life.

• Sodsbury: The Smith-Dent And Westfield Breach-Action Twin-Barrelled Hunter's Shotgonne is a magnificent, one-of-a-kind device. It has been carefully designed to be able to launch very nearly any payload that can be fit in either of its mighty barrels, from rudimentary bullets to Crystals at monstrous speeds. The color of the Crystal used may massively alter its ballistics and effects.
  
  For unknown reasons, Theodore prefers to use specially-made shotshells instead of Crystals as ammunition. This archaic piece of hell has a distinctive effect that sets itself apart from most modern firearms, and is Theodore's most beloved weapon.
• Scampwick 4.5mm I-Crystal Shiner v.II: A simple, effective deathslinger bought from one of Axiom's most popular firearm manufacturers. The Scampwick Shiner is a small, pistol-like device that fires a fast-moving, deadly bolt of Crystal energy at a respectable rate. The Scampwick Shiner, built for compatibility with Indigo Crystals, is best known for incorporating this type of crystals' unusual properties with artistic flair. Indigo Crystals are notorious for how they grant their users "luck". In reality, Indigo power seems to have mild psychic properties. The user's noological patterns subtly yet significantly affect the Indigo Crystal's physical properties; in layman's terms, the harder the user thinks about what he wants to hit, the more likely he is to actually hit it. As such, properly using the

Theodore Whitesnake maintains a truly legendary armory in his Central estate, containing powerful armaments and trophies taken throughout his family's history. Theodore will never take more than one weapon from the armory to go along with Sodsbury. For the moment, he will start with the Scampwick Shiner v.II.

Armor: Theodore Whitesnake typically wears no armor whatsoever, preferring the sound defense of a strong offense. When given time to prepare, Theodore wears a surprisingly-effective padded leather shirt beneath his jacket.

Backpack A:

• One shaving kit, for hygiene anywhere. Comes with a straight razor, a mirror, a brush, and a bar of soap.
• Fifty pounds, in various notes.
• Thirty shotshells for Sodsbury.
• One replacement crystal for Theodore's sidearm.
• One handkerchief, made of silk.
• A hip flask, filled with whiskey.
• Two whaletooth combs, one for hair and one for beards.

Strengths: Theodore is a devious thinker, with a quick wit and an even quicker tongue. His formal education grants him an upper hand amongst his uneducated targets in the Districts, and allows him some insight into the inner workings of the city.

Thanks to training offered to all Whitesnakes, Theodore is trained in both marksmanship and Bartitsu, allowing him to hold his own in combat.

Weaknesses: Theodore is not knowledgeable in the way most anything works outside of his lessons and the politics of Central. In addition, he takes very nearly everything personally, is unfriendly at the best of times, and carries the same near-total lack of morality and ethics that the rest of his family has.

Traits/Hobby Skills/Other: Theodore greatly enjoys building model ships, debating others on a variety of philosophical topics, savagely berating Rick Boll, and manipulating others into helping him.
