Mia’s personality was originally somewhat normal, but as a result of the ravage of the Titans inside of Wall Maria, she no longer feels fear nor does she have any morals. Her grandfather describes her as a problem child. Despite her emotionless expressions and blunt demeanour, she also had a temper if being tested on her patience. She usually describes her killing methods to be clean, without needless movements, which is a skill she seems to take pride in. She shows no hesitation to kill a Titan. Because of her lack of emotional understanding, she is willing to confront any opponent head on, no matter how dangerous they are. Originally she showed no signs of empathy whatsoever and did not understand the emotions of others. However, when she realized how important her grandfather was to her, she let out a cry of anguish when he also passed away. This shows that a part of her former self remained and that she is still capable of loving and caring for individuals close to her.

History:
Mia had witnessed the fall of Wall Maria five years ago however she was outside of the walls when this happened together with the squad that she was in. Upon the message, they immediately returned back to the kingdom but it was already too late. Having seen the chaos the Titans created, made something snap inside of her as she could see the corpses of human beings scattered around. Some missing half of their bodies and others only had an arm laying on the ground while the rest was eaten by those vicious creatures. An ominous feeling creeping up inside of her whole body as she returned with the squad toward Wall Rose where she tried to find her family. Hoping that they would still be alive after all of it. Eventually she found her grandfather but he was all alone. Telling her that the others did not survive as the house was surrounded and he was out to buy groceries. He could not get to them anymore and was pulled with the crowd towards the escape route. She cried a lot that day until she could not feel anything anymore.

Personality: Jacob is a very self confident man whom is not very easily shaken or bothered by other peoples comments. He is the first person expected to be arrogant about what he is capable of and often is vocal about his doubts about other people. While he shows the qualities of a fine officer he lacks any sort of charisma that could rally a person around him. He has a introverted aura about him that makes him seem eerie and scary to some people others see it as arrogance and simply don't like him based off it. He is extremely blunt and to the point and doesn't enjoy toying around with people and is not the first one to laugh at a joke. He has an great hatred for titans and humans with no sense of virtue or self restraint.

He is extremely calm and it takes something profound to intimidate him. However while he is good at hiding it he can be extremely emotional and his attitude does show shades of it by the types of words he uses and how blunt he is. He is not shy by any means and has a great respect for a superior who's abilities are unquestionable but has a deep hidden distaste for incompetent commanders and at his worse he can flat out disobey orders when he believes he can do something better. Jacob can be extremely smug at times especially when he is proven right about one situation or another. He can handle frustration very well but when it starts to pile onto him he tends to snap. He can be extremely casual under almost any situation even when he is about to murder a titan, or another person, in cold blood. He is not especially fond of causing pain but he has no problems with it and is not vocal when he is uncomfortable. He has no problems with doing unethical things in order to get things done but will not be bribed by others.

Biography:

Though much is known about his origins exactly, due to his blunt statement that he is not interested in sharing it to anyone who did bother to ask him, he tells anyone who asks that he comes from a fairly well off family with a couple uncles, aunts, and cousins. He also is said to have a couple brothers whom were also in the military but he doesn't tell anyone who they are exactly merely that they served in the Military Police, and the Survey Corps. When he arrived at the cadet camp he was carrying very little aside from some well made and written books about military tactics, some journals that were passed down from his family, and his clothes which were rather modest and casual. He immediately disregarded anyone who tried to talk to him and had next to no friends in the camp and even those were more of acquaintances than friends. Regardless of how unfriendly he was towards his fellow cadets he quickly gained a certain reputation due to his his intelligence and ability to improvise tactics on the spot while under pressure impressed the teacher of the unit. Those who were still skeptical due to his rather small frame where quickly outmatched when he showed to be capable of playing dirty in hand to hand combat sessions despite his small weight class and when not allowed to play dirty he still was capable of holding his own using his quick reflexes.

Though he is still a cadet he has shown competence, is a solid fighter, and intends to graduate to the top of the ranks if not close. He has no interest in dying and fully intends to live to a old age and retire. He has stated Titans don't scare him and that they should be afraid of the things he knows though he tells everyone that the majority of them probably have the brain of a wall nut outside of the special titans recently sited.

Personality:
Dianna is hard to find these days after the attack on Maria where most of the world finds itself in gloom. She is kind to her peers, but she also gives friendly teases as well and quick to lecture if someone makes a mistake that could hurt them or others. Optimistic is what others like to say about her, but under her surface her optimism is far less so. Her personality of being outgoing is more so to help others in these grave times, and from this she has a hard time admitting when she is facing issues herself. However, she understands that the world can't sit idle and she can't sit back and simply wait for the titans to eventually kill her someday. Action must be taken, and she wants to encourage others that they should act to. When she is alone, she likes to stargaze as well as read poetry. Usually during the night as she has a hard time sleeping through it after the events of the attack on Wall Maria. Her attitude though is easily focused into the task at hand. Making her personality when fighting more direct, sarcastic, and dropping the warmth she uses elsewhere to make sure people simply stay alive and that the job is done.

History:
Dianna is the third and youngest child of her family who worked as farmers within the bounds of Wall Maria. Them, along with the countless other farms within the walls, worked to feed what remained of humanity. It was a bit lonely as Dianna didn’t meet peers or even other people very often. She was expected to simply become another farmer to take on what her family had, but she was more adventurous. Her love was for nature and the unknown, and her father largely disapproved for the longest time. It was unbecoming of a lady as well as a farmer to constantly abandon their home in his mind. However, Dianna didn’t stop and she found the night to be her favorite time of day. When the mas of the blue sky came off to reveal the larger universe at hand she felt even more excited, but also alone and trapped as she didn’t get to see more of the world that she heard from those who passed by. While she had been to a district with her father to drop off their crop once in a while, she only had moments to run and find all of the interesting things she could before she had to be dragged back home almost.

They heard the crash of the wall coming down in the attack in the distance, but were unsure of what was going on. Her father and eldest brother took a carriage to see what was going on despite Dianna’s objections that they need to leave, but the one thing she respected about her father and her siblings was their willingness to help others. She would never see them again though as the rumble of canon fire in the distant horizon and the sounds of battle came. Then came the titans, after the wall was lost and the armored Titan broke the inner side of Maria, running down the countryside. Dianna was lucky to escape the farm as she had gone off to search for her father and brother when they didn’t return. But, without the horse Dianna had been on her mother and other sibling were taken and eaten, Dianna watching from a hill in the distance before running off. It’s a miracle a Titan didn’t see her before she disappeared past the hill and that there wasn’t a charging aberrant to chase down a horse.

When she arrived at Rose and joined the Refugees she firsthand got to see what happens when the food source is lost. The rationing and the march of the able bodied refugees in a suicide mission made to reduce those that still needed to be fed. Nightmares of people scrambling the first few days for food and of her families death keep her awake at night as she only find herself sleeping for a few hours at a time. At the same time she was giving up her rations to other children she saw. Both out of the kindness of her heart as her mother taught her to give a meal to those who were hungry as well as being unable to stomach food without it coming back out. This is what it felt like to be truly trapped. She regretted wishing to have something more, to escape her farm, and she just wanted to have what she took for granted back. The only way to do that though was to follow the men she saw on horses leading out of Trost. Those brave men and women who fought to free humanity from the Titan threat. If she followed them, she could escape from the true prison of a life she had now as a refugee and also free humanity from its prison. See that which she had dreamed as well as finally return to her home and properly give her parents a goodbye.

Personality:
A shy young man with a kind nature, Kobe is strong in will where not in body. He feels that nothing is more important than human life and will stop at nothing to protect it in any way he can. While not fearless and heroic, Kobe is able to maintain a level head during tough times and has a way of keeping others from losing it.

Cobe tries to give respect where it is due and understands the importances of the wisdom gained with age, he tends to be naive and trusting of those older than himself, while patronizing but kind to those younger.

History:
Born to a gypsy family within wall rose, Cobe spent most his time on the road working at various locations. He was blessed with a life of exploration and interest, but also one of solitude and aversion.

Life was not easy, but also without fear. He knew wherever he went that he was surrounded by his friends and family with whom he shared an incredible bond. He spent many of his peaceful years reading the books he collected on his journeys in the hope someday his knowledge would be able to help mankind.

It was not till he reached age 12 that he saw a titan in person. After the breaching of wall rose his convoy traveled to trost to deliver medical supplies to the fleeing refugees, By this point Cobe had become rather proficient in medicine and the convoy stayed in trost so he could help the injured. He was then entering what would be the most traumatic two months of his life, he was changed by that experience. It was after seeing the horrors there he decided he would try to join the Garrison.

Azura makes for a great leader in that she is not that hard of a person to understand. She's not mysterious or closed off, rather she is an open book. She is never afraid to speak her mind and hardly keeps secrets. She believes that knowledge and information is not to be kept for some people and not others and is a firm believer in protecting those who cannot protect themselves. Azura is kind enough, not overly friendly but not a pain to be around. Her voice and demeanor might come across as nonchalant or bored depending on the topic. She can be quite the stubborn person. She doesn't easily let somebody persuade her, as she is the kind of person that first wants to see something with her own eyes before believing it. Though she doesn't judge people for their beliefs or what others say, she judges strongly based on actions. And if she disagrees with somebody, she let's them know it, thought not to a point where she doesn't follow rules or instructions of her superiors. Description:

Standing at 5'9", Ryuu is very well toned and muscular, but certainly not a brawny boy by any standards. He has long, black hair that can fall down into his eyes if not kept in check. He weighs about 160 pounds, and most of that is due to muscle weight; he likes to keep his body fat ratio as low as can be considered healthy. His eyes are a sort of electric blue that seems to captivate those around him when paired with his long dark hair and fair skin complexion. Despite his fair skin complexion, Ryuu does not burn easy; he tans rather quickly instead. He wears a mask with the mouth of a Titan drawn on it; which covers up to his nose most of the time; unless he is around those he is comfortable with, the mask acting as a sort of sign which stated that he would be as ruthless to the Titans as they were to his family.

Description:

Having become acquainted with his darkest side, Ryuu is often a loner. He would rather be in a small group of close friends, or completely alone than at any social gathering. Ever. He is a man of action, choosing to keep his words and inner feelings to himself most of the time and let his actions do the talking. He has a burning desire to avenge all of those who have fallen, by killing every Titan he ever sees. Ryuu does not show much emotion other than anger, sadness, determination, or (only around his best friends which may be like 2 people or Sage) Happiness and Love. He is highly intelligent and was gifted with excellent reaction times, which help him fight rather well. Ryuu has accepted that death and pain are going to happen, so unless it is happening to somebody he cares about or he has a definitive reason to care for another person's well being; he won't. Ryuu is often the kind of person who one would discover sitting up on a roof or something late at night just to be alone and think, it is how the boy handles his inner pain.

He is always very composed unless certain triggers of his are hit, other than that Ryuu will not break composure and seems to be able to take any amount of stress or pressure and remain clam; a talent he tends to pride himself on. He is also very adept at multitasking and managing many things at once; making him a likely candidate to be excellent at 3DMG training and handling. As part of being somebody use to loss as well, Ryuu has certain people (only his best friends and lover) who he will guard unconditionally. Meaning, he will refuse to let any harm come to these people.

Background

Description:

Ryuu's history is a very dark one. He started out living among his family in their happy household near the inside perimeter of Wall Maria; his father a very well known baker in their neighborhood who brought plenty of money in so that Elizabeth could be a stay at home mom and spend her days watching over her children. Ryuu was quite used to hearing his parents talk about what they thought the outside world was like, so it didn't really come as much of a surprise to Ryuu whenever he was told by his parents that they would go on a family trip outside of the wall for a day. Nothing would happen, because Ryuu's father had gotten information that no Titans happened to be in the area they were going to visit. Of course, Ryuu read the excitement in his parents' expressions and couldn't wait to go see beyond the wall. So when the day came and the family all went outside, Ryuu trailing behind holding Lisa's hand while his parents walked side by side and holding onto little Kyle; Ryuu was eager to look around. This eagerness led to events that would forever haunt him. While Ryuu's family was busy gawking into a forest that they had discovered; the boy managed to sneak off to play among some rocks in the field nearby. He was having a great time until he heard sudden screams of terror, and pain. Ryuu sprinted back towards his family just in time to watch as Elizabeth, still clutching little Kyle, was dropped into the mouth of a lumbering 15 meter tall Titan. With a sickening crunch; its mouth closed and blood burst out of its mouth to splash the ground in front of Ryuu. The boy stood there, staring at his father and sister in pure horror as the final screams of Elizabeth echoed deep within his ears. The boy decided he had to save his remaining family somehow, but this thought was quickly killed as the Titan who devoured Elizabeth reached down and snatched both Lisa and Tadashi from their cover. It studied both of them with a hideous grin on its face as if it was genuinely pleased to see the two. Lisa, having noticed Ryuu, shrieked for the boy to run; but he was frozen in place as he watched the fate of his remaining family unfold. The Titan, apparently deciding that the two would serve well as final snack suddenly slammed the two together with such force that Lisa's smaller frame splintered and actually went into that of her father's... as if they become one in their final moment. It was at this time that Lisa's pleas managed to make it from Ryuu's ears to his Brian. He turned to run just as the Titan shoved its new sandwich into its ugly mouth and bit down; splattering their blood enough that some hit the clothes of the boy as he ran. Ryuu ran and ran until he reached the familiar wall again, unsure of exactly why the Titan never caught the boy or even gave chase; but now it didn't matter. Now Ryuu needed to find a place to live and grow until he was strong enough to take the fight to the Titans. To exact revenge upon the bastards who stole his family. It wasn't long after this event that the boy shut down to the outside world save for a select few; all in order to help him cope with the pain of his loss.

The boy wandered through the city until he found the home of a friend from school. Sage Watson, a girl who was roughly his age and was always reading. For some reason the boy had managed to make friends with the girl and had been to her house several times. So whenever her parents answered and saw the boy covered in blood and crying about Titans; they gladly took him in. He lived with them for another three years until the unthinkable happened, another Titan attack claimed the lives of two of that family. Ryuu added their names to the list of people who would avenge when he killed the Titans. After Sage's dad passed away the boy took the hand of the girl he had become so close to, looking her deep in the eyes with an expression of pure determination. One that would tell anybody, even this terrified girl that he meant every word he said. Then with a trembling voice he whispered to her: "It's just us now Sage, we have to stick together from now on and defend each other. I promise you I won't let any harm come to you ever again." It was at this very moment that another 15 footer yanked Sage away from Ryuu, devouring her in an instant. At this moment the Titans created the beast who craved their blood.
