Seeing no one, he eases out his hook-knife and prys the window up. His Great Warhammer-staff jams up against the window. He nervously glances up and back at the direction he came from.

@Tigerchuffs What happens when Paisley bites someone/something? Is there any kind of blood she can't drink? (Like in some stories, reptiles/nonmammals make vampires sick.) I think having Ignacio step out for a second could get really interesting, but I wouldn't want to be dying within the first 4 posts.

@Sombrero She can't drink other vampires blood. Of course, she'd know if they were. I'm going off the idea that they don't have a pulse.
She's restrained enough that she doesn't kill anyone who has their life before them. She mostly preys on the old and weak.

If he stepped out, she'd probably nibble until she felt stable. :D

Are players allowed to set up/submit their own quests/outside events? I've seen a few tavern formats before where that was done, but the rules on that have usually been unwritten/unspoken and generally implied.

@tigerchuffsMy apologies for my inactivity for the last few days. My cat was bitten by a raccoon and an abscess formed and burst. It was pretty bad and I took him to the vet. $550 later and he is in recovery so I should be fairly active for the next couple of days.

@BillsomethingI've been trying to recruit as well but it's getting close to holiday season so a lot of people aren't as active as before. Which is ok. We shall trudge on and not let the tavern die. As for your writing challenge, I shall work on it today. I think you should go first though so other members have an example to use. :p

@SombreroI'm going to say yes. Just post your "quests/outside event" here first so we can review it. I'd say after we accept the idea that you can go ahead and post a memo IC and one of the GMs will update the events list to add your quest.
