Things were beginning to calm down. Lyra's powers were starting to lose their effect on Toby, allowing him to regain control of his form. He slowly returned to his human form and crouched next to the still unconscious Artemis. He had to collect himself; he was fully aware of what he felt while under the Sorrow's effect. It was something he hadn't felt for a long time, and it was not something he was anxious to relive. He stared at his friend, thankful that she hadn't seen the monster he'd become. To him, nothing else mattered right now... He shakily reached out his hand to brush her cheek, or some such romantic gesture, but he lacked fortitude, partly because turning into the monster drained him, physically and mentally. He was also partially afraid; he barely knew her. Was a simple touch too forward? He didn't want to find out. He performed a visual check for signs of life (yes, her chest was rising and falling, meaning that she was at least breathing).

He whispered the words, "I'm sorry," and, still half crouched, slinked his way out of the mall.

After finishing up cleaning, Robyn retreated away from the crowd. She had felt a huge social pressure just standing there among other people, interacting with them, talking with them. Although she felt like she fit in here more than anywhere else in the world, she still didn't fit. Mopping was easy enough, and eventually the gym was cleared out, relatively cleaned. Roberta went on to do her business, and Robyn didn't want to bother her... So she slank away from the group. She didn't know if anyone noticed or not, but she made her way to what was to be her first day on the 'job'... As an art class instructor. It was empty, as Robyn had assumed, but it didn't bother her. She liked it this way. Here, she had art supplies of all kinds, lots of room, every possible instrument of art one could think of!

But when one has the power to create anything possible to her imagination, when one has the ability to literally conjure something out of nothing, the dream of every artist, then what else could one do?
She didn't realize it yet... So she started drawing with simple pencils on a plain paper. The door to the classroom was open. Anyone could enter. Robyn was sitting up front on the main desk.

James awoke in... Wait, a hospital bed? How the hell did he get in the infirmary. Looking around, now sat bolt upright, he spotted Aaron sitting a little ways away, looking slightly panicked.
"Did you carry me here? Maybe I should have told you guys before that I-" he stopped mid sentence, suddenly feeling light headed and slightly ill. Like hell it was happening again. The gym incident was caused by something he called "CPUO" standing for "Central Processing Unit Overload". Maybe it was a good idea to explain that to Aaron for future reference.
I might as well let you know what happened." he began, looking at him directly.
"That is an event I called CPU Overload, and it is the process in which my brain enters a safety mode to prevent overexposure to the massive calculations I must complete to use my power. Every hour, I must complete 12-15 equations and calculations using between 30-190 million characters. Due to this, my mind will slowly unravel and eventually be destroyed. The process that occurred was a level 2 occurrence at about 13% capacity. The highest I can go is level 5, which at 100% has the capacity to destroy a city the size of London. Anywhere between level 1 to 3 is normal, is just me expelling any excess data. Levels 4-5 are extreme, and can only be activated on command." he finished, slightly out of breath because of the explanation he just recited. Hopefully that would clear things up, but... Maybe not. If anything that would do for now. Maybe. And James laid back down, looking up and falling asleep. His job was an EMT, so staying in the infirmary wouldn't be a bad thing.

Sweat rolled down Lyra's cheeks as controversy erupted around her, as a ring of fire surrounded her like a shield. Her eyes widened as she hugged her legs to her chest. Too many... there were too many of them! People were so awful, awful, awful! And the worst of them was that stupid Zinnia girl, the one who claimed to be royalty, who demanded Lyra's name. As if that nonsense was impressive to anyone! Being a lady was all about how one behaved, and threatening a child with a knife was far from becoming for one who hoped to claim that status.

"I don't care if you're a princess!" said Lyra, the panic audible in her voice. "Just go away! I don't want to deal with any of you! I just wanna go back... all of you, get AWAY from me!" She couldn't control herself; an orb of Insanity surrounded her, its magenta hue tinting Lyra's vision. As long as the others stayed back, they would be fine... if they didn't, they would get hurt, but worse, they would completely lose their minds for a while, would see everyone as their greatest enemy, as an imminent threat to their lives. Slowly, Lyra pushed herself to her feet, her arms held out to either side to help her balance as she wobbled back and forth. "Just LEAVE! I'm going home... and I don't care what ANYONE has to say about it!"

He wasn't surprised by his bored tone, since he himself was bored by this job. It didn't fit his personality or his past, yet he didn't complain much because some people didn't have it easy with their jobs at all, nevertheless Oscar seemed quite friendly, and very interested in exploring his powers heights, unlike Azai who wanted to find its limits of control, it was a curse to him a power that brings nothing but death and destruction "Hmmm, telepathy too. Seems powerful and has many possibilities... I call my ability Monochrome, mainly because it deprive life force in my surroundings from color, it twist and ravage everything in its path draining creatures from their energy and and life, depending on the enemy's power. It frightens me actually, because I can not control who it harms and I also can not control fully yet, so it tires me quickly. That's why I don't dare using its full power, only once I used its full power on the force field but it didn't work on it though... Other than that I'm a professional fighter and try to keep my body in top shape. .. So what made you come here? If I may ask."

Azai was interested in hearing people's stories of how they came to be locked in this place, mainly because he wanted to see if there was someone other than him, who came willingly to this trap. And it was a way to pass the time, aside from his training

Persephone nodded her head, smiling as she pointed towards the orchard of the garden. "Yeah, we have oranges, tangerines, blood oranges, and mandarins! What would you like?" She asked him happily, looking at Zaniel as he spoke while Kenny was coming around the fence. "No, I'm getting myself into trouble." Persephone said to him quietly, staring into his eyes as she realized what she had to say. "I don't want you to come to the bar this time.

"I'm not a little girl Zaniel, I can handle myself just fine. I don't want you getting drunk, and I don't want you getting into a pointless fight over whose touching my ass. You've already gotten into too much trouble, and you remember what Dawson said. If you get into trouble again, that's strike three. Strike three is worse than the bar, and only one person has reached strike three because the first and last to do it never returned to the home alive. You saw the grave! I.... I won't let that happen to you!" Persephone said, knowing that he'd been talking to that girl Jasmina for quite some time. Why did she even bother trying to care about Zaniel anymore? Why couldn't she stop having feelings for him?

She put on a smile though as Kenny came around, taking his back pack and heading towards the orchard. "I'll come back in a bit with your fruit! You guys just stay here while I do so and talk!" Persephone called to them, heading to the apple trees since they were in the closest spot.

Jasmina blushed heavily as she felt Emmett's arms wrap around her waist, looking away as he stood her up in front of him. She didn't dare look him in the eyes, as she knew that would only make herself blush more. But why? Was she perhaps falling fo- No! No! No! That was not it! It just couldn't be! Just.... No!

Jasmina shook her head as she realized Artemis was still unconscious, gaining her balance and rushing over to her. She carefully knelt down beside Artemis, checking for a pulse before she looked around at everyone. "Is anyone here a doctor? I don't know what's wrong with Artemis! Usually she's up by now but.... But.... She's not waking up!" Jasmina explained to the crowd, her usually ruthless yet calm demeanor gone from her body and replaced by panic and dread. Yes, Artemis had a pulse, but it was very faint, and Jasmina didn't like that one bit.

Natalia was about to whine about how Leo using his powers just wasn't fair when her water proof ear piece was connected to the discreet phone line in the Bar, letting her know that something was going on somewhere in her home. "Yes, this is Natalia Dawson. This is Amira, am I correct?" Natalia asked, her usually playful demeanor disappearing into one of seriousness, the side she switched to when she was talking to anyone besides Leo. No one actually knew why Natalia was in charge of this place, not even Leo, and she wasn't going to start anytime soon.

It was a harsh past, and anyone with a regular life would cut off their ears after hearing it. If anyone found out what she really was.... No, she couldn't think about that now. She had business to attend to. She'd wallow in her self pity later, especially when she was out of ear shot and sight of Leo.

"Yes, this is Natalia Dawson. This is Amira, am I correct?"

Amira recognized Natalia's voice immediately. Wasting no time, she got right to the point: "Yes, Ma'am. I just received intelligence of a possible situation in the mall. The witness reported a, quote 'bunch of kids showing off their powers.' Multiple sightings confirmed, Ma'am. Containment might be necessary."

Leo rolled his eyes at the interruption. And just when they were getting to the good part, too. Although he couldn't hear what Amira was saying, he knew that if she was involved, it was probably something that required Nat's undivided attention.

He pulled himself up out of the hot spring and grabbed a nearby towel to dry himself off.

Toby managed to leave the mall without drawing any attention to himself, or at least, he thought he did. When he found a place to sit, he flopped down, covering his face with his hands. What the Hell just happened? I should go back and see if Artemis is alright. But what if I can't control that Thing again...? He leaned forward, with his face still in his hands, unsure of what to do next.

Tess stood from the cold floor she had been sleeping on for a while now. Her head swam with the now fading drugs she assumed she was given and began to search her person for the items she had before capture. The knife was there, and so was the picture of James. Across the way, propped up beside a chair, was her bag. Inside should have been everything else she had, but there was something else. Beside it was a little envelope with her name written on it. Walking over and reading it's contents she was almost surprised to find out her job; Psychologists Helper. It shouldn't have been, considering her powers, but for some reason she expected not to have to work. Taking the note and her knife she headed to the only place she actually knew of. After a year of research on the run, Tess had finally gathered some intelligence on the actual inside of the Home, even if it was only a small amount. She headed to the mall. Seeming as breakfast was likely still going ahead, it was a good idea to grab food before the days work began. The timetable wasn't hard to figure out - especially not with the intel she had acquired.

Arriving, the place was clearly in disarray. The remains of a table lay shattered on the ground and everyone around looked on edge; uneasy. A young girl stood in a ring of fire, with everyone clearly directing their attention to either her or the other girl lying on the ground to the side. An older looking woman stood over her and called for a doctor, which Tess might not have been but she could at least try help.
"I'm not what you'd say a doctor, but depending on what happened I might be able to help"Tess said, walking over to the woman and the unconscious girl. The one in peril would likely have a recent memory of the event, which would make it easier to identify the source without probing too deep into her mind. Doing so would likely cause intense pain. Crouching beside her, Tess touched her forehead and began to look at the surface memories; the most recent. What she saw was horrific, brutal memories mixed in with the ones from before the incident. Torture and inhumane conditions were conducted on the poor girl, and she was branded with a tattoo. No person, with powers or not, should ever have to go through something like that. Then she saw it. The small girl surrounded by fire seemed to have triggered something in the girls memories that cause some kind of intense trauma. So... There was another with mind manipulating abilities. Looking her over and checking her pulse to make sure she was at least okay, she looked at the area the tattoo should have been. And sure enough, there it was. A bar-code; a symbol of their imprisonment and experimentation. The only thing to do was to wake her, which would be easy. Passing through her memories, she decided to implement something that would surely wake her up. It had worked on people in comas, so it would work on her. She added a memory; one of falling. A nightmare, per say - but one to wake her up for sure. A dream of death, rebirth and sacrifice so vivid it would stay with her forever. And so would the name Theresa.

Standing up, she looked down at Jasmina.
"She should wake up in the next... say, 20 minutes. I'll be over talking to the others, so if she wakes up any sooner let me know." she said, stepping up again and walking over to Lyra, Zinnia and Monica who were in some kind of heated conversation.
"Hi, the names Tess. I couldn't help see from that girl that this young girl caused some serious mental trauma in some people," she said, looking at Lyra, "And I was interested to find out what everyone saw here. Likely hood is Miss. Dawson has been alerted, or that's what my intel says about events like this. I say we get this place cleared up and then we can sort everything out like civilised people. Oh and please don't try any mind manipulation around me. Last person to do that didn't make it out alive, I'm afraid." That was the only way to deal with people like this. Firm, but respective - yet also oppressive to make sure they don't cross the boundary. Being held hostage taught her that, and now was the perfect time to implement it.
"I'm new here, by the way, so I hope I don't sound to bossy." she said, giving Zinnia a cute type of smile to try and at least reduce some tension she may have caused. Being cute was the perfect way to diffuse a situation.

Kenny grinned broadly as Persephone took his backpack from him, with promises of sweet fruits. And if he hadn't mistaken that look, maybe one of another kind as well. "Watch out, Mr. Dark and Gloom. I think that green thumb just took a liking to little ol' me." While he couldn't have mistook the growl and intensity in Zaniel's voice, Kenny didn't put any stock into it. Whether he liked it or not, he was here at the Home and would try to make the best of it. Life seemed to have decided that this very beautiful and kind girl might be a part of that wish. Whatever Zaniel could do to him more than likely wouldn't kill him. Although he had doubts about the pain. Kenny hated pain, even with his ever-growing pain threshold. He could take a bull's horn without a grimace, but something about how dark the shadow behind Zaniel was had him a little cautious. Would the guy actually try to hurt him? Kenny almost laughed at that thought. He didn't know if he even could die!

With an easy and charming smile, Kenny waved after Persphone and called out to her departing form. "Just any kind of orange will do, sweetheart!" He couldn't believe his luck, wondering if this blessing was also a curse in the making. "So.. Zaniel. How long have you been working the garden and orchards with Persphone? Do you like it?" Kenny asked in a conversational tone. He wanted to test the waters on this, depending on Zaniels' reaction, he'd know if Persephone was on or off the market. Yet, he didn't notice any kind of real intimacy between the two even if he did note the tension. It wasn't his fault the girl was hot and their relationship cold. Maybe Zaniel should've moved a bit faster, but that kind of self-doubt would never hold Kenny back.

Oscar nodded as he listened to Azai, finding a similar experience of his own. Whether he liked it or not, his telepathy was more than just passive. If he devoted more power than necessary, Oscar found it quite possibly to break the very psyche of his would-be victim. He'd left a victim or two behind that had wished him harm, before he'd discovered his telepathy. They'd been left as nothing more than drooling vegetables, eyes unseeing. The image of it haunted the young man, but he didn't let it show. "Sounds like a hard power to not hurt someone with... I'm sorry you have to carry that burden. My powers keep growing and I keep finding that more and more what seems like simple psychic prowess could turn into something.. more. It's like a levee, ya know? The more I practice, the more the levee floods until.." He took his hands, fingers together to form a wall, then separated them, fingers splayed, to refer to an explosion. "Hence why I'm always out here, testing my limits."

Oscar pondered Azai's question for a moment, thinking whether or not he should answer honestly. He had had reservations about coming here, but with the national manhunt for him, Oscar had finally settled on accepting the invitation Miss Dawson had extended. Now, he often question that decision. Oscar could have lived in the lap of luxury, but always at the expense of others. He'd gotten sick of living like that, but morals were a small price for freedom. Or so he'd discovered. "I came here because I didn't want to keep running, out there." He waved his hand vaguely, indicating the rest of the world. "I'd been chased from coast to coast, practically. And I was getting tired, so finally, I said yes to Miss Dawson's 'invitation'. Although, with the men she sent to collect me, I don't know how inviting she truly could be... You seem like you've been here awhile, trying to get through the forcefield and all.. have you ever actually seen Miss Dawson? I've looked for her," at this he tapped his temple tellingly, "and haven't even gotten a whisper of a thought or identity that might be her! I could tell you about every guard, every staff member, and every other child, man, or woman that's on these grounds, but not her. Who and where the hell is she?"

Jace ran to Artemis' side, responding to Jasmina's call for a doctor. "I'm here, give us some space." He stated flatly, not taking the time for politeness or formalities. He checked her pulse and cursed under his breath, then looked up at the Neko-Transformer. "I need a stretcher, yesterday!" He gently rolled the red-headed girl onto her back, waiting desperately for a way to transport her.

Aaron gave James a look that said 'Really?' and looked around the room. "So a data purge just destroyed the gym? Sure you don't have a less destructive way of emptying a recycle bin?" He asked, crossing his arms. "I mean, thing's've fallen to shit already. I don't wanna run you here every damn day." He crossed his arms, fiddling with his jacket's zipper.

Zinnia bit her lip, deciding to back off if Lyra. She was dangerous and had to be dealt with, but she couldn't get in close enough to deal with her... best to wait it out and find Iron, then. She stepped down from the table as the shorter girl stood wobbly. "You can't survive on your own here, girl. Someone'll end up snapping on you, and no amount of talk will save you."

She made her way to the gravity manipulator, smiling as she arrived. "I'm sorry about that, I had to at least get that first thing shut down. The second one doesn't seem as bad." She looked up at the purple bubble around the supposed 'lady' and giggled a bit. "I say we get outta here."

Slowly Miri stirred in the comfort of.. a bed? It felt so nice as she felt herself sprawl out across the rather massive said bed, She could so sink into it and stay there, Her bed was never this comfortable and thus unaware of the whole trumpets and announcement of Miss Dawson, Hell Miri was unaware of her situation of where she was but once she came round more, The teen felt that something was not right and she shot upright in the, Sitting up as she remember the last thing to memory was fighting of people who raided her home in the middle of the night, they came for her and attacked her, she tried to defend herself, But what happened of her family? Were they okay? her worries though could not change that fact she was in a unfamiliar place.

Looking around the room she was in, it was certainly something else and she was not been accustomed to, It was massive to say the least, Well presented and tidy, there were bedside cabinets on each side of the bed, the white curtains were pulled with a small chair in the corner of the room and a rather large mirror. Slowly Miranda pulled of the covers and slide over to the side of the bed, Looking at herself in the mirror, She was in a nightdress as thoughts ran through her head of how long was she out and how long was she here in this room? The thoughts continued in her head while she cautiously made her way over towards the mirror looking at herself more as she fiddled with her hair for a moment before looking herself a once over, Miri noticed she had a needle hole just above her right wrist which she immediately placed her left hand over rubbing it gently just trying to remember if there was anything he had missed out, They must of had her sedated for quite some time and ran some tests, What did they do her... Run some tests then send her to a five star hotel she could not afford? god knows, But one thing was for certain Miranda was not going to get answers just staring at herself in a mirror.

Curiosity took over a little, it was best to at least gather her bearings and sort herself out, exploring into the next room it turned out be the kitchen and immediately was left quite surprised to say the least, She was not expecting to find herself in such a luxurious place, Hell her family kitchen was not like that, Half the size maybe? There was no way in normal circumstances would Miranda be able to afford a place like this, She wondered around the kitchen running her hand along the marble side for a moment as she did so taking it all in,checking the cupboards, If anything there was a little excitement creeping there and so made her way to into another part of her 'place'. The bathroom it is a great selling point if there was one, not just a huge bed but this bathroom was amazing and was beyond anything she could imagine, who would of gone out of there way to make a place like this?, Miri so wanted to get in the bath right now and just loose herself in it, But another part of her knew there had to be a catch to all this somewhere, her mind kept going back to that night they came for her, She wouldn't mind getting to the bottom of what they did to her, The why part was not hard, They must of figured out she could control the weather and thus not normal.

Leaning against the wall by the window for a few moments, Miri took a peak through the glass to the site out below, From what she could see the area was massive, she had to be quite a few floors up as she certainly was not on the ground or first floor. The height did not bother her any, Her mind went back on something she heard a rumour of once, Apparently a place was set up to be some glorified prison for people like herself, Miri often wondered how non normals were out there. 'Was it Miss Dawson's home for the gifted or something' Her memory couldn't recall properly it was quite a while ago she heard the rumour, Miri couldn't remember where she her it from, So much had happened since then but if it was true, could this really be the place? The only way to find out for sure was to go outside and explore, But Miranda could not go out like this and thus decided to take that bath after all, get refreshed and dressed decently enough to go out.

After a long soak and wash in the bath, Miri felt more awake, Making her way over with a towel wrapped around her, She gently brushed her hair straightening it before putting a touch of mascara before going into her bedroom and over towards the wardrobe to see what she has available. deciding on what to wear for a moment, Miri chose to wear a strapped of shoulder top, A pair of denim shorts and short boots, It was simple casual wear. Miranda was not particularly hungry right now and thus was no need to make something in the kitchen when she made it in there, Now was as good a time as any to go and and have a look around. Leaving her room and locking it up, Miranda made a rather normal way of leaving the building via the front door, Her blue eyes scanning around her as she winced a little adjusting to the sun light for a moment, they quickly adjusted, If this was a prison it sure as hell didn't look like it, If anything it looked like a small town! Anyway Miranda didn't really know where to start other than go for a wonder and she where she would end up, She didn't know anyone so just hoped not to end up like a lost teen on her first day.

Resting his elbows on the table and his head in his hand Iron stared down at the table he set at. His mind still puzzling over the last few moments, primarily on the Zinnia-related aspects of those moments. After the short moment of insanity that had just befallen the dining area Iron was at a loss. On one hand Zinnia seemed rather nice, not to mention anything of her appearance. On the other she had just threatened to kill a young girl, who admittedly did seem to have been the cause of the insanity. It was a tough call, one that would take hou---

"I'm sorry about that, I had to at least get that first thing shut down. The second one doesn't seem as bad." Zinnia started, surprising Iron who hadn't noticed her arrival. "I say we get outta here," she added with a giggle.

What he had previously thought would take hours instead took just three sentences and a giggle. Standing from the table he drained the rest of his coffee and giving Zinnia a smile gave his agreement with a nod "Yeah, that sounds good." Falling into step beside her he recalled something he had thought he heard the younger girl say and so added "Did that girl call you a princess?"

he could relate on the matter of his growing ability. It was like a fight were you will hurt your opponent but never loose control over your emotions and come to regret it later, it was something he practiced and learned before he went into his first professional fight, the same was applied to his ability yet harder, it was human nature he had to fight here the nature that dwells in power and triumphant. Azai has never met or talked to someone who was the center of a manhunt before, for him school delinquency was the worst he ever did, since he sought professional fighting he was content and free of anger. Yet he wasn't sure why Oscar told him the whole story, was it because he isn't that man anymore? Or simply because there is no sort of government authority in this place to judge him, he didn't dwell on that thought much "Well I drove myself here, can you believe that? But I can't really say I know how you felt since I've never been chased by anyone before"  He caught him of guard by his question about Miss Dawson, he thought that of anyone in this place Oscar should be the one to know about her because of his ability, but to not be known even by him was stunt bomb "Wow, I thought you should know about that... But leaves one explanation, maybe she lives inside another force field, since you can't sense her, or she's godly powerful and I have a stronger hunch about the second guess." He itched his head a bit "The thing is, even if you and I wanted to figure this thing and break out, how many people do you think will help us? Have you noticed that some people actually prefer to stay here? Forget Dawson's guards, some of the people here would want to stop us. Yet I'm not backing from this fight if it comes to that." Azai smirked and then continued "So are interested in getting out or just pure curiosity about Dawson?"

Monica couldn't help but frown watching the little girl throw yet another fit, even after Alex had tired to apologize. She rolled her eyes letting the fire ring disappear and taking a step back, clearly the girl wanted to be hated to act like she did towards her and Jack who were trying help her. Her attention went to the new girl, Tess who seemed to think she could take over. There wasn't some simple way to fix this, and though it wasn't brought to Dawson's attention yet, she was right it would be soon. She stared at Tess for a moment uncomfortably, before walking away herself.

This placed had been to crowded in the first place before now, and she wasn't going to get a night at the bar, because she chose to stick up for some spoiled little brat. Who wasn't even grateful for it. As she passed by Jack she gave a small wave and gave a kind of forced smile. "Its nice talking to you Jack. I'm getting out before Dawson catches me here." She said avoiding getting in the way of Jace and Jasmina helping Artemis. Although she worked emergency, it was as a fire fighter and she really would be no help.

Zaniel frowned looking in Persephone's eyes as she told him not to go to the bar. Did she think that he was going to simply listen to her? That he was going to let some drunk filty guy grab all over her ass, and not do anything but sit in his apartment knowing it was happing? He gave a slightly dark smirk and nodded. "Fine, I won't get into a fight this time Perse. But I'm not a child either, I can go to the bar if I want." He said quietly following her. He watched Persephone grab Kenny's backpack and head towards the orchard. What the hell was him and Kenny supposed to talk about? The weather? The fact Kenny was flirting with the girl he wanted? When Kenny answered Persephone, Zaniel looked at the kid frowning.

The shadows behind him moved and shifted until they were underneath Kenny before they shifted up, wrapping around his throat, and lifting him up. The shadows that still lingered around Zaniel formed into two jet black swords in each of his hands. With a swift motion Zaniel cut off the head of the boy standing in front of him. With the other sword he started cutting the rest of his limbs. Until he was covered in blood and the dismembered body of Kenny laid before him. Zaniel looked down at the boys head smiling, before the head opened its mouth. "So.. Zaniel. How long have you been working the garden and orchards with Persphone? Do you like it?"

Zaniel blinked a dark smile on his face as he was brought back to reality, before it disappeared and he looked at Kenny. "I've been working with her since I got here, so two months. And yes I like it. Though its a hard job with dumbasses like you coming and asking for food or plants and getting her sent to the bar." He answered frowning. "Don't you have a bull or something to go play with?"

Emmett's smile only widened as he saw Jasmina blushing because he saved her. Though she didn't look at him, it didn't bother him though. That only meant he had the chance to get away with letting his eyes linger on her a little bit more. Though as she moved away he turned his attention to the rest of the others. The fire had died down, and some of them were leaving the mall to keep from getting in trouble. He thought about doing the same himself, though the guy beside Jasmina said something about needing a stretcher quickly.

Emmett wanted to help even though he knew nothing about medical stuff, getting something to someone fast was actually something he could do. He teleported to the infirmary and quickly grabbed one of the stretchers. Teleporting the stretcher itself to the mall cafeteria, it wasnt something he could do easily, his mind keeping on where Artemis was. Still it took more out of him than he expected, and he left the infirmary walking himself as he heading towards the gym instead.

Jack was silently thankful that everything had calmed down as quickly as it had and after just few moments he stepped away from the very upset girl who caused since she hardly was in a state to listen to him. Hell she even seemed like she was rejecting the help he had gotten from Monica initially, she had been able to after all, and his trying to keep the situation on level. If that was the way he wanted it to be then he wouldn't push for the moment but he had full intention of trying to make an impression on her on at least when to use a power like hers. At least it was over for now as long as they left the girl alone since she seemed to have lost interest in being anywhere near other people which left a bit less of a mess to deal with than what could have been. On the crappy side there would be no doubt Dawson would catch wind of this even if she hadn't been watching at the moment, which he kind of doubted but all the same it was a possibility, and that would mean some people could expect to end up in the bar though he wasn't so worried for himself because a drunk idiot being far easier to control than the average resident.

Jack figured he would end up helping with the clean up at the least not out of any sort of guilt but because it would just be a pain to leave the mall cafeteria messed up though it could have been far worse. That and he would be heading to the bowling alley not long after for his keeping the rest of the employee doing their jobs which with a holiday around the corner might be more tasking than usual but he wouldn't mind in the end because it was high time they had some fun. He tended to be maybe a bit more lax than the other managers but pushing hid buttons or outright disobeying him could and would be dealt with in a matter of moments. With all of it over Monica deciding to get out wasn't a bad idea and it was probably for the best but he would clean up just to leave less to punish lying around all over the floor. "Always up for more if your around. I'll see you around." He said looking forward to another conversation with her.

Its a wonder more people haven't chatted her up, she is something else. Jack mused thinking maybe a few of the others weirder for not talking with Monica more regularly.

Oscar laughed, thinking it very likely that Azai would willingly come here. There was something melancholy about the man and with his powers, the psionic could tell why. It must have been hard to grow into such a deadly power, something that Oscar knew all too well. "Yea, I think I could actually. It's a lonely thing really. Other than wiping the memory of any who could identify me, I hardly had human interaction. I was slipping into a very dark side of myself, then. Which is why I willingly came, now I've started to question such a decision." He remembered his first victim of a telepathic attack, drooling on himself in a comatose state... With a shudder, he pushed that memory down back to the black hole he always kept it in. When he'd asked about Miss Dawson, Azai's disbelief told him more than anything how strange their benefactor truly was. Did anyone ever meet her? Was she protected all the time?

Oscar had frequently sent his mind out and knew of her location, deep underneath the grounds. But that was only because his mental probing was turned away, like an impenetrable barrier, to physical or supernatural force. "You would think, right? But I can't seem to get to her, no matter how hard I push against whatever it is that protects her!" His white knuckles showed just how frustrated that made the young man. "If she was that powerful, I'd at least be able to sense that... no, it's completely different. With that kind of technology, whose to say what she truly is."

The idea that he'd have to fight the kids around him didn't particularly bother Oscar. The ones that actually liked this place were the most delusional of them all and he would just use their powers against their own allies. He had no doubts about his abilities to control the actions of others. "You'd be surprised at how easy it is to make someone turn against their own... whether that be by direct mental command or a delusion I create from within. They wouldn't get near me without begging for mercy... And a bit of both, really. But more of curiosity. I want to know what that woman has in mind for the likes of those such as we. What about you?"

Kenny's laugh was warm and not at all insincere. Zaniel's jealousy was palpable, like the smoke of a fire. He knew the guy to be hard to get along with, but he realized that he was particularly hostile and bitter towards Kenny. That gave him even more security in his belief that Persephone might have taken a liking to him. Let the hater's hate. He shrugged noncommittally, as if the job was not worth worrying over as much as Zaniel might hope it to be. "It's easy enough and once I get the beasts started, they're quick to the task. I've got time for a few... fruits and such."

He grabbed a shovel, impaling it in the ground and leaning upon its butt, hands crossed over the end and his chest rested upon them. Kenny looked at Zaniel that seemed a mixture of understanding, amusement, and pity. You should just stop your bellyaching. If you don't have the cajones to act on your desires, others might. Which is what happened here, amigo. Sighing, a little, Kenny realized that there was no hope in being civil with the guy and resigned himself to the start of an annoying grudge.

"Well, I'm not trying to stop you from doing your job. Maybe you should show a little more focus, eh?" He chuckled a little before pulling the shovel out of the ground and spinning it around his body with skillful and deft spins of hand, arm, and wrist. He arched an eyebrow at Zaniel's question and comment. "So who's the real dumbass, I wonder. And not just one bull, a small herd. But I don't mind delaying their arrival to the Butcher. Give 'em a little more time to enjoy the sun and grass and such a fine day." He took a breath and looked around, noting that Persephone was still far away collecting fruit for him, before saying what was on his mind. "If you're pissed because I was flirting with Persephone, just say it. You've got no right to be angry because she just so happens to show interest in little old me. If you haven't expressed your feelings to her, you've got no claim over her. She's a big girl and can choose what and who she wants. So either put on your big boy pants or cut the shit."

Kenny was a bit angry now, guessing correctly at Zaniel's real source of hostility. This guy had no right chasing off the people that might show a genuine interest in the charming girl. It was her life, after all. He might not have all those fancy shmancy powers, but that didn't matter. Once Zaniel was nice and tired, trying to kill or seriously maim him, Kenny would be the last one standing.

Zinnia sighed a bit, since Iron had remembered what she said. She had hoped that he'd missed that in the commotion, because she wanted to be treated like everyone else. Well, that hope was most likely gone. "Yes, I'm the fifth princess in line for a dead throne. It's nothing to make a fuss about, really." She kept walking beside Iron, intent on heading towards the lake. She'd already had a bad enough day, work could go screw itself for a little bit.

Walking alongside Zinnia, Iron almost stumbled when she confirmed that she was indeed royalty. He had almost assumed that the younger girl was just using the word "princess" as an accusation of over-entitlement. Correcting for his near fall the gravity manipulator sped up his step to once again be in stride with the princess. As the beach came into sight Iron had one pressing question on his mind. "So it's still just Zinnia then, right? No Your Highness or Princess Zinnia?"
Zinnia nodded in response, choosing to keep her mouth shut for the moment. 'Last thing I want is for someone to call me princess...' As the pair came to the beach, the nearby sand sort of lept towards the psammokinetisist, rising slightly towards her as she walked by. She had no control over this affect, the sand just did as it felt when she was near. So she strode about halfway down the beach and sat, looking up at the sky.
"I didn't come here with the intention to let that be known. If anyone asks, please tell them that was Lyra forcing out my greatest fear." She sighed slightly.

Flopping down on the beach Iron nodded as he listened to Zinnia . What she said made sense, even if he didn't completely understand why she'd want to hide her royalty, he did understand wanting to keep some things to yourself. Pulling his jacket off and folding it into a pillow he leaned back, lying on the beach. Eyes closed and the early afternoon sun beating down on him Iron contemplated his reply.
"You know... I get it. We all have secrets. I mean I have things I'd prefer not everyone know as well," he stated with a shrug, or the closest to one he could manage while lying in the sand. "Your princess-ness aside, and seeing as we unintentionally moved our beach hangout up..... Uhh how would you like to um go to the HalloweenMasqueradewithmetonight?" Iron asked from his position in the sand, stumbling in the beginning and speeding through the end of the question. In all honesty he couldn't believe he had just asked her on what was nearly impossible to see as anything but a date.

She hesitated for a moment, raising a finger with her mouth hanging open, then lowering it and shutting her mouth, not entirely sure how to respond. She'd had plenty of suitors back home, but they were all cocky and rich, the kind of things her father saw potential in. In what was almost a complete act of defiance, she took a breath and spoke.
"I'd love to go with you, actually." She felt her heart skip a beat for some reason. Was this love, or just a reaction to something that was out of the ordinary? She had a feeling she would find out soon enough.

LET THE HALLOWEEN MASQUERADE BEGIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The gigantic mall had been closed since breakfast in order to set up for the evenings events planned by Miss. Dawson herself, the Halloween Masquerade Ball having been planned for a good six months at best. The whole entire mall was completely decorated in a macabre and eerie way, the only things illuminating the mall were giant crystal chandeliers with giant candles burning bright, along with small tea lights and golden candelabras.

The place looked scarily beautiful and yet sinister at the same time, and each section had its own theme. The fourth floor stores had been turned into gorgeous macabre hotel bedrooms in order for those who felt the need to get away from everything to either just stay away from the crowded areas or do other devious Halloween things during the devils night. The third floor was the buffet and dining area, which was dimly lit by a golden candelabra at each table for a more romantic yet creepy mood. The buffet was stocked with different abnormal foods that were not usually served, but were out for this time only since it was Halloween styled meals and desserts.

There were different things such as dirt pudding with gummy bears for those who wanted to bring the inner child out, the triple chocolate devils food cake, angels food cake with assorted fruits, peanut butter witches hats, and plenty more Halloween based desserts for after the main courses which consisted of Spaghetti and mystery meatballs, mystery meatloaf, blood soup with assorted vegetables and rice in with it, tomato soup, spider salad which consisted of assorted vegetables and a leafy lettuce which leaves looked almost like slider legs, fried mystery fish just for Jasmina along with caviar, skull shaped pasta salad, and tomato basil and mozzarella salad. For those who were old enough to drink there were assorted red and white wines being based out by certain staff who had decided to work because they did not want to go in costume and instead dressed up as Victorian waiters and waitresses.

The second floor was cleared out since it was the lobby area and had different carts and tables selling items before, though now it was a gorgeous ballroom which was lit by the biggest and most glorious chandelier in the whole entire mall. The crystals acted almost like a disco ball and there was a DJ playing music which the equipment had been given to them by Miss. Dawson once it had been modified so it could not be used in any way as a communication device. There were assorted tables with snacks and drinks off to the side for those who danced so much that they needed to quench their parched throats and hunger.

The first and last floor was down in the basement, and was set up as a haunted house, and a very accurate and scary one at that. People who went inside were advised to bring a change of underwear, and most of those who came out did need them as the workers were done up by the best Makeup artists in the home and they were give a generous supply of special effects makeup to work with. The whole entire mall was a genuine success, and Miss. Dawson would be attending though no one knew what she looked like and they never would thanks to the theme of the Halloween extravaganza.

She would just appear to be another one of the residents in the home, something that she had secretly wished for since she was a young girl. This was the one night she could ever get out and see the home with her own eyes instead of a monitor screen, and it almost brought tears to her eyes. The place was so different than she had seen it before, but it was a wonderful change from the bunker she was used to. Though Leo would be by her side for most of the night or somewhere nearby, and it made her blush to think of his eyes always being on her.

She made her way into the gigantic mall along with Leo, disappearing into the crowd that was making their way inside the spectacular mall for a night they would never forget.

Oscar floated through the mall's entrance, wondering if he'd perhaps gone a bit overboard with his costume. He took heart in the fact that no one else could pull off his particular set up and still be able to easily navigate the mall's intricate decorations. He sat in the middle of a wooden cabinet, four walls of glass surrounding. Mauve drapes made the background of the back of his set up, while red lettering with outlines of gold spelled out "Z O L T A R" in easily read script. He himself had on a middle eastern styled hat, with a large purple feather sticking up and above his head. His shirt was a golden color, while his best and baggy pantaloons were a black velvet, embroidered with ivy-like patterns of golden thread. Under his right hand was a crystal ball that glowed from a light bulb contained within. There was a slot where his 'predictions' would come out for any of stout enough heart to ask for on the right side, as well as a coin slot right above. On the left was a white button, also lit from within.

All in all, he was quite proud of his costume's effect, even as he hovered slightly off the ground, moving through the milling crowds that were the residents' of the home. His looked all round, his face covered by a black and gold version of the mask from the ever popular movie, 'V for Vendetta'. He wondered if anyone he knew would recognize his particular humor or if his regular customers would put two and two together. The resident fortune teller had opted for a costume based on his in-house profession. He was quite hungry however, and knew that he'd need something in his stomach, as well as some snacks on the side, to keep up his telepathic mode of transport. And so, he verily flew to the third floor, where the directory detailed as the dining area. "Zoltar.... AWAY!" Oscar yelled dramatically as he quickly zoomed up and over the crowds!

Kenny had just gone through the gambit of the basement and while his heart was beating a bit faster, his skin tight suit was completely dry. He chalked it up to being torn to pieces by a shark as his origin story. It was hard to live up to that kind of true terror, once you finally realized you just couldn't die, no matter how hard someone or something tried. He was walking with a hop and a skip until he reached the dance floor, which was where he decided to bust a move. Kenny was a skillful dancer, spinning and bouncing along his back, sliding into handstands and impressive freezes, then going back to a goofy crump style when back on his two feet. He felt rather free once the mask was on. He wondered if his sword might cause more trouble than it was worth, but he'd been going for authenticity. Which explained the gun as well. Being dressed in a Deadpool costume was one thing, it took real effort to make it look like the real deal, however.

He certainly wasn't going to use either weapon. Yet neither would he put it past a certain prickish and gloomy guy to try and hurt him. Kenny had plans to meet Persephone at the mall at some point, after some continued small talk that day in the garden. He couldn't wait to find her at some point and beg a dance from her. He couldn't think of a better way to spend the night, except for maybe some horizontal dancing on the fourth floor. It'd been too long for the young man, who would forever be in the prime of his life. He didn't know how long it would last, but he wasn't going to waste a single day of his long-living youth.

What was really Azai's concern is his brother, he didn't want to hurt him because of his power by mistake, his brother was everything he cared for in his life, he entered professional fighting just to be able to send him to the best college that his parents couldn't pay for and prove to them that he is not a failure and show then the error of their decisions about himself. It was also the main reason why he wanted to get out of this place he missed him and he missed his master.. He couldn't say that he understood how Oscar felt because he had his brother and his master, but he could imagine how hard it was "Well at least you knew and acted before you slipped to that side, but there is a silver lining here in this place, because you can meet people here without having to wipe their memories, and maybe when we get out you can try to have friends..." Azai's job had made him more talkative and more understanding to people, maybe it wasn't that bad of a job.

It was rather a terrifying thought of what she could be, Azai spent some of his time in the library and it seemed that Dawson had a section just about abilities and their origins and the like, what was strange that the force field power wasn't one of the most powerful abilities he read, but he thought of other abilities she could have but after days of search and almost reading the whole section he found nothing useful about her, but useful for him because he knew weaknesses about powers and how to strengthen some of them, he noticed Oscar frustration but it was normal because even with his powerful ability he couldn't find her "I know how frustrating it is, but I think you approaching this the wrong way, you counting too much on your ability, I think she knew we would approach it this way, so I suggest we find another way to know about her... I think your right that is frightening but I think time will tell"

Azai knew he would answer like that, even though Oscar was smart, but his pride was a problem for him "I know what you mean, but have you thought that some of the people here could have the same ability as you or maybe other kind of mental abilities or some trained their minds? And the most important thing do you think that if we had to fight against Dawson's allies she wouldn't protect their minds easily? So I think my friend you need to use the destructive side of your ability, and if we had to fight there are some people with destructive abilities just like me and you, so we will need to gather numbers first, before we have to come to that." Oscar had a point, what could she want with them people of such abilities, there could many reason that he would think of, maybe experiment, maybe for some kind of sick games or maybe she just need to be surrounded by those kind of people "I really don't know, but there could be many reasons for that, but I don't think it will be pleasant since we are trapped here and can't get out" Azai noticed that they were talking for a long time, it was nice conversation and Oscar seemed like a good person, but Azai needed to get Luka home, so he called him and went straight home
