If you have the spare cash, I'd suggest getting an older tower, because PC gaming is just the best. I haven't, but that's just because I don't have the extra moola to get into it right now. Steam is great because it usually has so many deals on games that you just won't find for the gaming consoles. And there are just soo many player-made mods that give you content you wouldn't be able to apply on a console either.

Otherwise, I agree with @Love Dove, Xbox's are perf. ^^
