Varia steps back from him. He was unpredictable. This was Lucifer. The first fallen angel. "Visions of my past?" She looked down sadly and held her hand to her chest. "All that death and destruction? Was I somebody bad?" Tears welled up in her eyes. She could not bare it if she found out she was a terrible creature. A demon.

"Is that why you're here?" She looked up at Lucifer with such sorrow. She thought, if the leader of Hell was after her, she was someone on the darkest side.

[Advanced Human]

"Oh dear heavens child no youbwhere never bad nor did you ever fall but we knew each other a very very long time before. You used to be an angel nothing evil nothing of the sort" he laughed deeply shaking his head before looking at the city.

"I'm here to.......do somethings nothing you need to worry about or the police"

[Angel Vicky]

Varia quickly steps upto his side, noticing how he kept looking over the city. "Then, the demons you mentioned?" She asked him inquisitively. "I must be very old to have known YOU, Sir." She felt she had to address him with respect. She was not his equal, not ever could be. If he wanted to, he could erase her very existence in an instant.

[Advanced Human]

"Your pretty young angel in heaven but you helped keep me sane for some rough years. The demons have been running around creating trouble that I will clean up" he said slowly his wings shine brightly.

"But for now I must go. I have a feeling we shall see each other soon"

[Angel Vicky]

She gasped in awe at his brilliant wings. She didn't think the Fallen Angel Lucifer was as bad as the Bible described. Evil was a point of view. He did not seem evil in the form evil took. She nodded at him as he left. "We shall...." Her angelic voice drifted across the ether and she was left alone again in the cold world.

"And so the Angels rejoice at her awakening with eyes as bright as the stars, hath give her the name Starlight
and she will be burdened with terrible purpose at the hands of the Bringer of Light, the first."

Chapter 2 - The Angel of Loyalty

2 months later:

Varia couldn't concentrate all that well today. The meeting of Lucifer played on her mind since. She was beginning to think he was the man in her nightmares she tried to reach but never could. That told her that was the moment of his falling and she wept for him. She was the only Angel who cried tears for Lucifer.

She twirled her pen around and around whilst she sat at her desk, she didnt notice the ink had come out all over her hands. She had dreamt she was being taught how to fly. It felt so real. There was nothing quite like that feeling. But the feeling of Lucifer's hand touching hers and guiding her, felt even more wonderful.

How could she take this so lightly? An Angel feeling as though being touched by the first fallen as if being touched by God? She knew it was wrong somewhere. "But you don't always believe what you've been told, do you Varia?" She told herself and got up to greet her rival detective, Chris Nash.

He handed her some new information on Beelz Johnson.

Nothing much was found just a huge fan leader rivals with Michael Johnson gang. There was many brutal fights but the last few days all the crimes seemed to stop as if they had no more will for ev.

He stood at the peak over looking the city eyes closed mediating eyes closed relaxing and having fun remembering all good in his life.

[Angel Vicky]

"So is he possessing this guy or what?" Nash asked her. She shook her head. "There's no record of his birth. So I would say he is who he looks like, he just chose a mortal name." Varia pondered.

"Help me find this Michael Johnson gang, find out what they're upto."

"Er...they hang out in the roughest bar in town. Not sure that's a good idea." He points out.

She grins at him. "I feel like a little mischief. I know which side I'd choose to fight against, it isn't this Beelz." She runs out of the station post haste, Nash in tow. He hated being one upped by the amount of arrests she'd made over him. He wasn't going to let her win one more. They had a bet.

Someone appeared in front of her a male with massive winged male his wings pure white. Grabbing the girl by the throat they where gone far off. He appeared and slammed her into the ground "where is the devil?!!" Snapped the archangel Michael eyes sharp and dangerous

[Angel Vicky]

Varia holds her stomach as she impacted the floor. "Ungh..I dont know!" She looked up at the Archangel. "I haven't seen him in 2 months. None of my officers have seen him either." She glared back up at him, she wasn't going to take it with cowering fear if this was to be her end. She would not blame the other Angels for any anger toward her friendship with the devil. But she just didn't remember being his loyal defender.

The archangel vanished off leaving her alone once more. The devil chuckled gently shaking his head "your so hopeless I aware"

[Angel Vicky]

"And even if I did." Varia said standing up dusting herself off. "I WOULDN'T TELL YOU." She remarked with a proudness. She didn't care who he was, or who she used to be. She knew only one thing. That she was loyal to the end.

"That was intense. Demons, gods, angels everywhere." Nash said as he ran upto her.

"And lions." Varia added with a pointed finger to the sky. "So...gangs then." She hobbled to the car in pain. But her bruises were self healing. Her powers were starting to kick back in with every reawakened memory.

The devil watched them secretly keeping them safe in small ways as the gang they going to where archangel Michaels army and none friendly

The two detectives emerge from their car and walk into the gang owned bar where all of the members turned to watch them wander in.

Varia smiles at them all. Some of them she'd arrested before. They knew perfectly well who she was. She goes to the bar with Nash at her side. "Tap water please." She knew this was going to erupt. "Seen this guy around before?" She holds up the one picture she had of Beelz Johnson.

They shook their heads "no sadly" one said keep doing darts . most others only sciffted smirking to themselves aboy her

"Hey no-one looks at her ass but me okay?" Nash scoffs at one of them eyeing her up. Varia scowls at Nash, who obviously pretended to be her protective "boyfriend". She revolted his attitude though. She was not anyone's piece of meat.

"So, you cant tell me why this man's gang has stopped your operations in the last week then? If you point me in the right direction, I might go a little softer on all of you and reduce your jail sentences." He was about to pull out a shotgun at her. "There's a swat team outside."

The SWAT team had the whole place surrounded. "We can do this the easy way without anyone getting shot and we all go back to our business. Or you can leave in a body bag." Nash points his revolver at the barman's head. Varia holds her hand on her hip. "I only need to know where your boss is."

The entire gang just vanished completely gone no trace nothing. Leaving them all empty handed with nothe.well...except one man a male came from the shadows purring "seek Belz I see are you stupid ?"

[Angel Vicky]

Varia folds her arms. "Maybe I am." She wondered who the man was in the shadows. "But he's the only one on this planet who's given me any answers. I don't see God stepping in to stop the demon outbreak. We humans have to deal with it on our own. And I thought he loved us the most?" She said sarcastically.

"That is why the Angels are warring is it not? Jealousy over God's love for mortals? And Beelz, well...Lucifer is the only one I see stepping upto the plate!" She demanded to know the truth. She had to find out her part in all this, she was sick of sitting on the sidelines waiting for demons to kill her.

"You think god loved you the most what a hooooooot " laughed the male falling over with laughter. The male finally stopped laughing and smirking "you need to re read your bible little gal. Before saying god loved the mortals the most"
