Roxy jerked her hand out of Isa's. She hadn't liked the way the chain had pulled on her wrists. But she hated the feel of someone else's hand on hers. She hated to be touched. Luckily it wasn't long before they arrived at the gym. She didn't know how she was going to go through the whole day so close to someone. She knew Vlad had only started with his newest game. She wondered what else he had planned.

I'd have to figure something else out then, oh well. Though I feel I should mention something I'm sure she knows, but may need to be reminded of given our current condition. I mutter quietly so only Roxy could hear me clearly. Then I return to my silent, stoic demeanor as I await further instructions from Vlad.

"You know he wants you to react, exactly as he expects you to, so why do you cater to his desires?"

*Lucifer seems to be basically ignoring Dallas, standing as far away from her as the cuffs would allow. His other hand gets shoved into his jean pocket, the one cuffed shows heavy scarring. If anything, he is almost tempted to break his hand and wriggle out of the cuff, but he decides to hold off on that. Choosing instead to continue waiting for further instruction*

Dallas "Blue" Clarke

Lucifer was the quiet type, at least from what Dallas had observed. "Look, Lucifer," she said, her voice now a gentle whisper. "Vlad want's us to work as a team... maybe we should do what he says." Perhaps not the best thing to say, but it was something. After all, persuasion was one of her strong points, but Dalls just seemed to not want to use that influence over the boy. They were supposed to be a team, after all. "Okay Vlad," she shouted out into the open tauntingly. "I think we can have our assignment now!"

"Of course. Usually the first activity of the day we work on your shifting. But we won't be doing that today. Instead you will show your partner your other skills. You have one hour to show each other as man skills as you can. The pair that demonstrates the most skills will receive a reward." Vlad told them.

*Lucifer shoots a glare at Dallas. His posture never changing. However that assignment... that he can do. He actually smiles before he shows his first skill: lock picking. With a bit of effort he makes on of his nails become a claw then sticks it into the lock on the handcuffs. It takes him a minute to get the cuff to pop open and he gives a satisfied look.*"Furst skill...lock picking" *He then walks a bit away from her to give her space* "your turn"

Dallas "Blue" Clarke

Dallas quietly observed the boys skill. When the cuffs came off, she simply rubbed her wrist from where the metal had cut into her flesh. You see, the way Dallas is... wired, she see's everything as a competition, so, naturally, she would now stand there as she pondered over what skill of her's could outdo his. She shrugged her shoulders. "Lock pickings all right." Taking a run and go, and turn a front flip, her feet landing on the ground with a light thud. "Gymnastics, flexibility, etc. I would demonstrate a bit more, but, I need a course to do so. You know, obstacles and what-not. Anyways, your turn once more.

*As lucifer watches, he sneaks into the small amount of shadows available before she is finished. He gives another small smile seeing that she is competitive. To him this would make it more fun and cause each to try to come up with more and more skills. He remains in the shadows completly hidden from view.*"so you're bendy...neat" *He gives a chuckle*"next skill, what I like to call shadow walking."

Dallas "Blue" Clarke

She couldn't help but smile. "Bendy, yeah, something like that..." her voice trailed off as Dallas now watched the boys next trick. But there was nothing to be seen. Hearing his voice, she would look towards the shadows. Two can play that game," she thought. Picking up a loss object from the ground that was decently sharp, she would throw it towards him. If she had predicted right, the object would have barely grazed his ear. "Throwing. I'm deadly accurate. Works the best with knives, however."

Lucifer dodges barely in time and chuckles. "Trying to take out my ear" With a smile he goes into his next trick...voice throwing. He moves quietly to a different spot and throws his voice to where it sounds as if he is right behind her. "This is really rather fun, i must admit" Being totally honest, turning this into a little competition really was fun for him. The enjoyment is clear in the thrown voice.

Skills? Vlad, you know my skill set, and you also know I need both hands, and specialized tools, for much of what I do. Still, while I couldn't pick the cuff's lock, I could remove it several ways. looking around the gym, I found very few of the tools I usually used to do perform my line of work, not surprising, but still mildly annoying. I hold out my free hand to the nearest guard, pointing at his dart gun briefly and then waiting for him to hand it over, knowing he would eventually, since there were more guards here now than there had been yesterday in the cafeteria. While I wait for the hand gun to be passed to me, I shift my other hand into a paw, and slip it through the cuff, catching it before it could dangle. I point the empty cuff to where Lucifer was hiding, not where his voice was coming from, I could smell the difference.

"Luci's over there, I can track most beings across most surfaces. Luci's the only one I've ever lost track of to date. I can also read any official map, and navigate by it, I can also use most satellite photos for the same purpose. What about you Roxy?"

Roxy shook her head as her 'partner' decided to ask for one of the guns. She didn't think he was going to get it. She raised an eyebrow as he stated that he could track people. Interesting skill. Could be useful. She wondered how he did it. She would have to find out more about that when she had a chance. Map reading would be useful sense of skill. They would definitely need that. She shrugged when he asked her skills. "Watch."She walked over to the rope and started to climb it.

"Stating your skills will not count Blue."Vlad warned. He wasn't going to let them cheat. Wanted them to see what they could do. Yes the gym was empty and that would limit the skills they could show. But that was part of the challenge. He wanted to see how resourceful they could be. It was important that they be able to be able to think outside of the box. They would often be limited in there options.

I watch Roxy start to climb, and turn slightly to the guard. I speak in a low calm voice, not really caring if he believes me or not, I'd get the gun eventually one way or another, if I had kill this guard too, just to get one, well, I wasn't going to feel any more remorse for this one than I had for the last batch.

"Hand it here, I only need one shot, and it doesn't matter what kind of round it is either. I can't do jack with a single round so stop being a pansy about it, you heard the boss, it's show and tell time, give me one shot and pick any target within clear line of sight, I'll nail it."

The guard studied him. He looked at Vlad. The scientist nodded. The guard shrugged. He took out one of real guns they had. They were suppose to use the other two first and save the real gun as a last resort. He handed Isa the gun. "Shot the rope." He dared the teen pointing to the one that Roxy was on. She was almost to the top. If he was to hit the rope she would hit the floor hard.

A smile spreads across my face, as he puts the gun in my hand, and shrug a shoulder at his choice of target.

"Such an unimaginative and thoroughly predictable grunt. You need to find some flavor before you go stale."

Isa checked the chamber, and safety, both were in ideal positions, then took aim and shot the rope, three feet from the ground, cutting the bottom of the rope clean off. Though doing so in no way endangered Roxy, except possibly startling her into losing her grip. Isa flipped the safety back on, and dissembled the hand gun carefully examining each piece for wear and grit. It needed to be cleaned, but was not showing any signs of wear, yet.

"That isn't what I meant and you know it kid. Anyone can shoot the bottom of the room. I don't think Vlad will couldn't that." The solider told Isa. Roxy looked where the gun shot had come from she wasn't surprised that she had been targeted. She glared at her partner. She knew it wasn't his fault. But she couldn't glare at the guard. She didn't want to attract too much attention to herself.

Totally unconcerned, I turn back to the guard and hold his weapon out in my left hand offering it back to him. I hoped Roxy was sensible enough to climb back down before Vlad decided to insist I shoot her down, but if she wasn't that was her problem.

"If Vlad is dissatisfied with the performance, he should consider hiring competent assistants. And you are clearly not competent, as you are unable to adequately communicate with your charge, and your gun looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months. Where did he find you, Rent-a-Thug? I performed exactly as promised. If you want me to repeat the performance I will, but this time I get to pick the target."

Isa didn't mind doing show and tell, but he wasn't about to waste any energy on this particularly dumb brute. He'd always been snarky, but since his parents had died he'd been getting worse. Now he had no issues performing as required, but he took great pleasure in being an pain in the arse at every available opportunity.

Roxy slowly made her way down the rope. She knew what the guard had been trying. She was waiting to see if Isa would try again. But the guard took the guard back and put it away. It looked like they were done trying to injure her for now. It wouldn't be long before they tried again. She went back to her 'partner'. "Im not sure what else I can demonstrate in this room."

"Just don't ask Vlad or the goons for ideas, unless you like lap dancing. What skills do you have that you can't demonstrate here? I seem to have a head for small unit tactics."

Isa wandered away from the guard, walking apparently aimlessly through the gym, mostly to keep any one guard from hearing t he entire covnerstaion, he didn't like them any more than they liked him.

"No point in telling you. Vlad said it wouldn't count. So there is no point in listing all the skills I can't show you." Roxy told him. She wast going to brag about her skills. Vlad had tested them. He knew what she could and couldn't do. Anything she listed would just be bragging and she didn't see the point of bragging. Saying you were good at something didn't mean anything.
