Nila laughed at the thought of teaching Elvish, remembering when she was growing up how annoying it was to properly speak the tongue. "I'd love to, it's the least I can do", Nila replied. When it came to the question asking, the elf had some difficulty organizing her thoughts. Questions like: What's the local game? Where is the Sentinel HQ? Did she know the area around the village? And things of such nature. Instead she decided to keep things simple and say, "Nothing comes to mind at the moment though I'd love to get a proper tour, I've had the pleasure of exploring Tanjozo earlier today but I'm afraid I hadn't learned much". Nila began to think back at the mess she was earlier today but such memories were halted by the realization once again that Sarah was not a clan elf. "If you don't mind me asking, how did you end up being a city elf? Forgive me if I intrude, I've never encountered people outside the clanfolk", Nila immediately regret that asking as she felt that perhaps Sarah was in the same situation as her. If that's the case, she probably brought up a few painful memories.

The waiter dropped off two plates of baked potatoes steaming with blobs of butter that was melting into yellow goo making the brown peel slick and shiny. "That'll be nine guilders." he said before leaving to attend to others.

Back at the ranch the embarrassed and stunned kid was well obviously embarrassed and stunned. A scare utterance of, "Y-you too." was all that escaped from his lips. He then rode away to the cattle pen to make sure the gate was locked before hurrying inside home to marinate in his shame.

Pisco was rather unaffected by what happened. Sure it was something not expected but other than that it was briefly disruptive. He merely waited until the crowd began to circle around again. Time passed and he was getting annoyed his various alcohols weren't selling as fast as he wanted. He had no intention of having to haul back his product home. Sacrificing better profits to laziness he reduced his prices by half and began yelling, "AYYY I GOT A SPECIAL END OF DAY SALE HERE! HALF OFF PRICES, YOU PICK IT'S HALF OFF!" He then sat down and waited for the people to come in.

Cia gave a sweet smile to Kresnick when he offered to help her. In truth she didn't really need any help with moving around her cart. She had unnatural strength thanks to her being a werebear. "I don't need any help with the heavy lifting, but if your willing I could use some help selling." Cia said, she still had a good amount of veggies left having only sold half her stock.

At this point Cia heard about a sale on alcohol. That was something she couldn't pass up. "If you do this for me I'll give you a box of veggies along with a bottle of brandy I'm about to buy." Cia said wanting to get to the sale before everyone else bought whatever was left.

Cia ran off after that leaving Kresnick next to her cart as she went to go and buy herself some of the half off alcohol. "I'll take two bottles of brandy and a bottle of vodka!" Cia said taking out some money to pay for the drinks.

After sending the girl off satisfied with her sheep doll, and securing the few coins it cost, Belle spotted a boy a little older than the first kid looking at her. To this boy, she repeated her oft-used tagline, who approached warily before looking over her wares. Predictably, woven items failed to snare his imagination. He shifted from one foot to the other, not wanting to speak up either to request something or to admit his disinterest. Belle thought a moment before shifting her foot beneath one of the wicker baskets. In a swift motion, she flipped the basket onto its side, then picked it up with a pale hand and held it up. “Look.” She placed it on her head, covering hood, hair, and face alike. From within her muffled voice explained, “It's a helmet. You wanna join the Sentinels, you gotta practice wearin' armor.” Apparently uncaring whether or not anyone thought she looked silly, Belle removed the wicker helmet and held it out. Though she did not smile, she nevertheless felt gratification when the kid thumbed through some coins in his pocket and produced the money for it. Only a few moments later, he could be seen running through the craft show with the basket on his head, bumping into things occasionally but forgivable in his joy. Belle slipped the coins into her woven satchel, unconcerned that he hadn't paid the full price. The woven items were all very cheap.

The fierce afternoon sunbeams and the sudden lack of wind made Belle very comfortable, and as the seconds stretched into minutes it felt to the farm hand like hours. A few more purchases went through, but nothing notable happened until a cry went up from another stall. Her eyes barely open, Belle breathed deeply and pulled herself up from the stool. At an utterly leisurely pace she made her way to Pisco's stand, for his lay just across from hers, meaning that she needn't worry about anything being stolen. Belle found herself standing in line behind the bear girl from earlier. The two young women couldn't be more different: where Belle was tall, thin, pale, and introverted, Cia was more normal, more attractive, and more outgoing. These weren't why Belle resented her, however. She disliked the extravagance with which Cia acted, using incredible power without deliberation or responsibility—like it was nothing. Belle waited for Cia to get her extravagant amount of alcohol and then stepped up to Pisco. “Wine. One skin.” It would last her weeks; she never took more than a single sip for the taste. “Please,” she added, as an afterthought.

Kresnik stared incredulously at Cia, unsure as to how to decline her request for him to help sell her crop. Never before did the dhampir enter the world of merchants, nor did he have the patience to act the fool and shout unnecessarily about sales and deals. He felt flustered, his alabaster face growing pink with embarrassment at the very thought. Before he could say anything, Cia ran off to the man selling his fine liquors, with her promising him some brandy.

He enjoyed brandy.

With a sigh of resignation, he closed the distance between himself and the cart and grabbed a head of lettuce and a beet. Swallowing his pride, he began to juggle the lettuce and beet, using his reflexes to his advantage, his warrior discipline to keep a rhythm, and his years of training for precise dexterity to never falter. After getting a rhythm down, he continued to toss the lettuce and beet in high arcs as he grabbed another beet and to add to the juggle. "Come one, come all!" He shouted, his face still stern and his eyes alight with an inner flame of determination. "I have beets and lettuce for sale!" Kresnik felt like an utter fool, but he was willing to put up with the idiocy in order to get some brandy and some extra food for his private stores. "For a modest sum, I'll throw in a recipe for Korvani Beet Stew!"

It looked like his desperate sales attempt paid off as there managed to be a handful of people that came to buy his products. Business was good and he was getting ready leave once he dealt with all the stragglers coming in. Some woman came asking for brandy and vodka. "I only got wines, beer, and maybe some mead shoved back. Now if you want that other stuff I believe there's a bar nearby. I'll let you decide but feel free to poke in the back for something that catches your eye." He then beckoned to another woman who came up and with a whisper soft tone asked for a skin of wine. He knew her type and wordlessly went to fetch a bottle of table wine. No pitch for a certain project or asking about what type he merely fetched a bottle. "Fifteen guilders." was all he said.

"Awesome! It's settled then." Sarah told her happily when she told her she'd teach her Elvish. When she told her she'd like a proper tour tommorrow she nodded, "Sure thing. We might be a decently small town but we have plenty of stuff to see." She replied.

Shortly after their food and drink arrived. After placing the guilders on the table to pay for the food she started eating. Shortly after Nila asked her how she came to be a city Elf. Not many people bothered asking about her past, mostly because her dad would tell practically everyone he could. Swallowing her bite of potato she thought momentarily before answering. "Well, my dad found me outside the village when he was on his way back from the mines and brought me back here. I don't really remember my birth parents or how I ended up here." She explained. "I kinda just stayed here and took up the family buisiness after that. Not much else to it that I remember, really."

Cia gave a sigh as she realized that this store had no brandy or vodka. "I'll go elsewhere, I promised someone brandy." Cia said as she walked away to go find some brandy and vodka. She had also felt someone staring at her with great amount of what seemed to be either seething hate, or jealously. Either way it meant that the person staring at her hated her, something she felt would be best to just ignore for now.

Cia went to the store she was pointed out and bought the brandy and vodka. She then headed back to her cart to see Kresnik had actually sold a good bit of her products. "Good job! You sold most of my produce! I guess I'll let you have what's left since you helped me out. Also a bottle of brandy." Cia said handing him the bottle of brandy she had just bought. "Of course if you ever wanna share it just let me know." Cia added putting the bag of alcohol on her cart.

Kresnik sighed when the crowd went away. His face was red from embarrassment and his hands and arms cramped from not only his juggling, but from writing down numerous recipes for those that wanted them. When Cia returned, he took the brandy that she promised and nodded when she added that she wouldn't mind sharing the alcohol with him. "Perhaps some other time," he sighed, grabbing the coin he gathered from the many customers. "In the mean time, here is the profit you made; plus extra. It is the least I could do for the brandy and food." Kresnik added, shrugging away the embarrassment he felt.
