Dusk looked to his hands thinking 'manipulation?... he wondered what this could entail or do... if taken in the literal sense it would mean he simply could control things if he had enough power to do so. But could it be that simple.. maybe not. rubs his head some ".to figure out how to control or use this power is going to be hard isn't it.." he sighs shaking his head "...hardest part probably be the patience needed.." he says

"For some patience will come easier then it comes to others. Each of you will learn at your own rate. That is way it is important to stay here so you have the support of others going through the same things you are. This will not be easy for any of you. But together it will be easier then being alone." the old man explained. He was glad that they were asking questions. There was alot they needed to know.

He looked up to the old man "...well when do we start?" he asks knowing that sooner they get started probably the better, no use in questioning some things that they have no control over.

Aleksa stared at the others that the old man pointed to and raised an eyebrow when he mentioned that there was a kid with super speed but stayed back. While she was listening to everyone ask questions a thought popped into her head and she took a deep breath and teleported next to the man and pulled on his shirt. While Aleksa was trying to get his attention she was trying hard not to freak out about being in the front of so many eyes. "excuse me sir..." she started when she had his attention "I've been meaning to ask but what do we call you?" Aleksa said in her small quiet voice as she fidgeted with her the ears on her hood. Aleksa asked this because she didn't want to just call him "Sir" or "Mister" but also that she was sure that others were wondering this too.

"You will get started tomorrow. To day you will settle in and get used to each other."the older man answered. He smiled at the girl tugging on him. "You may call me Zodiac. Because all of your powers are determined by you Zodiac signs. I have been sent here to guide and teach you. I will do my best to make sure that you have the tools and knowledge to survive and do your job."

Found 'ya. Miroku thought to himself as Aleksa teleported towards the guy answering all their questions which he did want to just call sir or maybe boss but it seems he does have a name... or at least a codename. "Oh yeah, I thought of something... Sir Zodiac, how will you help us? I mean I'm pretty sure you said that no one else had powers like us so how would you know how to train us?" A truly innocent questions coming from him. He was just curious about it. If he wasn't mistaken, Sir Zodiac was just a normal human without any experience with powers.

Zodiac laughed. "I said that Ou teens the only ones here that have powers. I never said I was from here. There are many worlds and plains around you. Each as unique as each of you. In time you might even see some of them. My world is gone because the ones chosen to be our guardians could not work together. They fough with each other more then they did those threading our world. I hope to use what I have learned to keep that from happening here."

Aleksa gave a quick nod to Zodiac before she looked to the back of the room and teleported to her original spot. When she came out of her teleport there was a second where Aleksa jumped back as the wall came up in an instant but caught her nerves long enough to complete the action. "So we are all going to be trained then... that's good" she said and continued to listen.

"Oh. Is that so?" That was the only thing Miroku could say in response. Not that he was in disbelief of what Sir Zodiac has said, it was more on the latter thing he said. About his world being destroyed because the people with powers couldn't work together. So that was why he wanted to help this place, because he doesn't want the same thing to happen here. "Well personally, I can't wait to team up with other super powered beings." He said with a grin. He doesn't have much confidence in social skills since he sometimes doesn't know what to say at times but he does know how to follow orders.

Kofi listened on to what was being said "Team me with whoever....if it allows me to get stronger and be of more use...what will I have to lose? I just hope whoever teams with me will have trust in me as I would of them since we are suppose to be on the same team." Kofi said, standing and looking over at the others.

"If there are no more questions you may unwind, explore, and get to know each other. Tomorrow we will start your training. This facility has a pool, gym, and a library. There is a large room with pool table and other games. You should be comfortable here. If you need or want anything you must earn it. With the exception of food."The Zodiac explained. Then he headed to the door. So far they were off to a good start.

Miroku leaned back on his chair and then started to stretch his limbs. He then looked at the others and started scanning the room for that kid teleporter. Oh man, he really wanted to meet her right now. He hasn't met anyone who is faster or as fast as him before so this really got him pumped up. He then looked at the tattooed guy. "It'll be a pleasure working with you then." He said before standing up. "The name's Miroku Akashi. Call me whatever you guys want, I don't mind." Despite being of Japanese descent, he never actually picked up any of their culture since he was an orphan. "I'm the guy with super speed. Can't say I'm good in fighting all that much but I can manage." He informed them, just to let everyone know what he thinks his flaws are. For those that he can't see yet, then his teammates or Sir Zodiac would make that apparent.

With his personal introduction over, he continued to scan the room as Sir Zodiac left. His eyes landed on the young girl and then he slowly ran towards her, not really too eager to use his super speed in a place full of chairs and tables in fear that he would trip over them and embarrass himself as a first impression. That would be horrible. Once he reached her, he said, "You're the kid who teleports right?" He asked Aleksa with a kind smile on his face. She was younger than him from the looks of it. Well that didn't matter, all he wanted was to see if she is truly faster than him and to be friends... well he wanted to be friends with everyone but they could wait. He would rather approach them one on one or maybe a small group. What he did earlier was just simply for introduction so the others won't mistake his name for another. After all, they all just met today.

With his arms folded, Kofi was thinking to himself until someone addressed him. He looked over at the speedster kid he saw earlier. expressing his anticipation of wanting to work with him, Kofi responded. "Same to you. I would like to see your power in action when dealing with the enemy." He didn't quite smile, just a tiny smirk. Unfolding his arms as the boy introduced himself, Kofi did the same "Kofi Okoye....I can shape shift into any animal I so desire. I can fight but it depends on the animal I shift into. What is the fastest you can go?"

Miroku looked back at the tattooed man. Ah, Kofi huh? Unique name... or maybe it's not from where he comes from. "Ooh, shapeshifting. Can you shapeshift into mythical creatures like phoenixes or maybe a sphinx?" He asked, curious about the other's power. "Ah, I broke the speed barrier before... I... think I can go faster but I might... disappear." He replied. Yes, Miroku was sure that he could go faster but he knows that something wrong might happen if he did.

"In time I probably can. I can shift into ancient creatures but I was close to becoming a dragon." When hearing that Miroku broke the sound barrier, Kofi raised an eyebrow. "Disappear? I never heard such a thing happening when you go beyond breaking the sound barrier. Forgive me for saying this but I am a bit curious to find out if that's true. Do you have a special name you go by besides your given name. The people in my village call me Beast King..."

Aleksa was in the process of preparing for her next teleport and watching Zodiac exit the room, because of this she didn't notice the boy approach her. When he spoke even though she wasn't completely spooked there was still a flicker of teleportation that made it seem as though she glitching. When she calmed down Aleksa smiled back at the boy but looked down when she noticed that he seemed older and was a bit taller too. "Yes I can teleport" she said when there was a break in the two boys' conversation then went silent again just listening to them interested in what they said.

Liz wasn't sure what to do. She wanted to met the others but she was too she to introduce herself. She watched as the others started moving around the room and talking. She considered them all carefully. She wanted to get to know them all. They all seemed so...powerful. Her ability wasn't that interesting. It would be helpful if one of the others was hurt. But it wasn't good for anything else. She wouldnt blame the others for ignoring her.

Dusk would look around at the others as they all started talking, then noticed Liz by herself he stood up and walked over to her "hey" he says to her "I'm dusk what's your name?" he asks her with a smile.

Liz blushed when one of the boys spoke to her. She didn't really knw what to sa. Everyone se was so interesting. They were bound to be disappointed by her. "Umm... Hello. My name is Elizabeth. But I prefer Liz." Her father insisted on using her full name. But she had always felt that her name was bigger then she was so tried to encourage people to call her by the nickname her mother had given her.

Miroku looked excited when Kofi mentioned turning close to a dragon. "A dragon? Cool! Oh man, you have to tell me when you do transform into one. That would be awesome. Those fire breathing dragons of course, not the komodo dragons, already saw one of those." There were merits to having super speed... such as going to random countries without having to go onto an airplane or boat. "No, I mean if I ever go faster than that. Faster than light... something else might happen and I don't think my body can handle it." He continued. "No one knows about my power. So they call me "Speedster" but I don't like to be called like that so please, call me something else."

He looked at Aleksa. "Oh, sweet. What's your name? I don't think I caught it." He said, smiling nicely at the young girl. He wouldn't like to intimidate her so soon but he doubted that would happen anytime soon. "I'm the kid who has super speed."
