"If there are no questions, we will start our next lesson. It is on Mental and Mind Control. We will start with
1) Telepathy – Ability to speak mind to mind
2) Telekinesis- ability to move objects or bend objects
3) Levitation- the ability to float

All of these techniques are done with the power of your mind. You have spoken to your puppies and hatchlings. Now we will practice speaking to each other via Telepathy. Everyone get into groups of two and try to speak to each other." The Lore Master spoke calmly.

Bristle had no idea what type of dog he had so he wasn't sure what good a book would do, but somebody else probably did. Regardless it seemed they were moving on so Bristle released Ark and began paying attention again. Apparently they were supposed brain powers to do things. It seemed difficult but he'd apparently already done it with Ark and Rylarth so it wasn't that hard. Bristle turned and stared at the girl with the pretty locket around her neck and thought at her as hard as he could. CAN YOU HEAR ME?! If she could the results would be fairly obvious. If not then he was doing something wrong and would have to try again or something.

@Eklispe I winced a little at the volume of the voice in my head. "Oww a little loud Bristle I think." I said out loud i said as I concentrated on bristle and speaking through the mind's.Bristle? I said through my mind hoping it would work.

"If anyone wants to practice with me, I know how to mentally speak and can help most people." Ixonia spoke confidentially.

"I have known Ixonia for quite a few years and I have taught her a few things. She will assist me in some ways. If she does not know then she will tell you.' The Lore Master confirmed.

Bristle tilted his head curiously. How had she known his name? He hadn't told anyone here. Maybe it was part of the telepathic dealio. Apparently yelling wasn't necessary and you could keep your mental voice silent. Wierd. When Ixonia announced her willingness to help Bristle had an idea. Why talk to one person.... WHEN YOU COULD TALK TO TWO AT THE SAME TIME. With some difficulty, screwing his face up in concentration, Bristle tried to send out two messages at the same time without talking. "Heeeey, ladies. This working alright for the both of you?"

Very good Bristle. You can now speak to groups of people. Just try not to push your inner voice so hard because the harder you push the louder your inner voice is. You may try the next thing on the list- Telekinesis- ability to move objects or bend objects. Think of the object that you want such as one of those blocks from the table. Then think of it traveling to your hand and landing on your palm." Lady Mystique spoke with a smile to the group.

I can hear you very well, Bristle. Here is a block for you....." Ixonia made a block move to Bristle and sat down on his head.

Bristle grinned cheekily at the praise. He was pretty good at this stuff huh? He was pretty confident in himself at this point, one might even say overly so, but who could blame him? Bristle's eyes rolled upwards in a futile attempt to look at the small wooden block on his head. Just think it moving. Easy. Bristle pictured the block in his head, or rather, on his head. Just like speaking but with a block and not speaking but moving. Okay so maybe that was a bad analogy. Still, Bristle had the general idea. His brow furrowed in concentration and the block slowly wobbled off his head, somewhat uncertainly, but defiantly moving. After a few moments it was above his hand and Bristle let it drop into it with another grin. Perfect. "Got it in one boss, whats next?" he asked eagerly. How come he'd never known he could do this stuff before. Well he would've been crazy to try it before this but still! Maybe it had something to do with the dragons and blood contracts and stuff. Didn't matter now, what was important was that he was a wizard!

Now try levitating.The Lore Master demonstrated.

That isn't too hard looking.... I think. Ixonia spoke.
Uhhhh..... how do I levitate?

Imagine yourself floating away...... The Lore Master spoke calmly.

Ixonia closed her eyes and thought light thoughts such as being blown by the wind. She slowly floated up and away towards the door.

Gabanre entered the classroom toghether with Glaedr and his puppy Pebbles. He started talking with Glaedr and Pebbles as if it was nothing. Then he asked "What do i do now, I am capable of talking to Glaedr and Pebbles"?

[Eklispe]

Bristle was a little unsure about this one. He'd be doing well so far but levitating was a whole different pot of tea. But then again Ixonia had been able to do it on her first try so it couldn't be that hard. Bristle took a deep breath and closed his eyes, attempting to picture himself floating into the air. He felt a little lighter and felt an odd pressure at the bottoms of his feet. Bristle looked down and saw he was a few inches off the ground. His characteristic smile appeared on his face and he pushed a little harder. To his surprise he went up faster than he expected and leaned back.

But rather than levitating he was merely using telekinesis on his shoes and pushing himself into the air. Which meant when he leaned back his center of balance shifted off the platforms of force holding him up and he fell backwards. Bristle was of course a trained acrobat and managed to continue his motion and complete a back flip and was fully righted before he landed on the ground. "Well that was fun." he said cheerily, seemingly unconcerned by the fact that he could've easily broken his neck. He closed his eyes again and considered how to go about, doing a little more planning this time.

Now try to speak to other people mentally and put them in the animal corral where they can play together. Your next task is t levitate the blocks. The Lore Master spoke as she tugged on Ixonia's leg.

Ixonia open your eyes and see where you are going. You nearly hit your head on the door. Try to think about moving different ways.

OK.......This is not too hard to do if you watch where you are going. Ixonia commented.

Lance listened to the lore masters instructions, he noticed as one of the other students walked in with his dragon and cerebi. Lance didn't have a partner yet so it wasn't a bad idea to partner with him.

"How about we partner up for the telepathy activity if you dont mind" Lance asked him.

As Gabanre was thinking who he should speak to, Lance stepped towards him and asked if they could do it together. "I don't mind" He said as he spoke with telepaty. After that he gave Lance the instruction to talk to him.

[Aisling]

Time passed and it is now high noon.

"Everyone stop your practicing. It is time for lunch then we will go out and work on the harvesting. We have bread, cheese and fruit. Help yourself while I get the lemonade." The Lore Master called out.

Ixonia smiled for she was quite thirsty and a bit hungry. She looked at the Critter Coral and saw that everyone was behaving well.

Bristle sighed. Harvesting? That didn´t sound nearly as fun as levitating and stuff. Oh well, trade fun for work. Bristle grabbed some food and Ark eagerly followed, staring at his masters quickly devoured food. Oh no Ark, this is for me. There is not even any meat. After Bristle was finished wolfing down his food he checked of Rylarth. Alright I gotta go do work, you can play with Ark or your dragon buddy if you want, I will check back with you when I´m finished. He was getting good at this mindspeak thing, it was even easier than talking at this point.

As we stopped for lunch I smiled pushing the block away away that i was using for practice and went to eat lunch, Pandora and Vera coming over to visit me as i grabbed some food.

Lance attempted speaking to him using telepathy, "Can you hear me?" Lance spoke using his mind. After sending the message it was about lunch time, Lance wanted to at least finish the first exercise before eating.

"We will use our new skills to pick the apples. I will set out baskets and you may teleport the baskets to and from the orchard. We won't be using ladders so you will be using your own new skills to fill the baskets. Any questions?" The Lore Master spoke.

Ixonia smiled as she ate her food then a thought came to her.

"What about the puppies and hatchlings?"

"They will come with us." The Lore Master spoke.

Rylarth was not actually asleep, he was just laying down because the game with the white hatchling tired him out. Rylarth got excited when Bristle came back, he ran over to Bristle because wanted to tell him about how the tug-of-war game went. "Bristle, I won! I won the game!" Rylarth said excitedly. "Ok I'll be here when you're done." Rylarth responded. After that he went over to a nearby toy and begun playing with it, hoping that Bristle would come back quickly.

Bristle playfully reached down and snatched the toy from Rylarth and ran away towards the orchard. As he run he shouted at the lore master, "We don't know how to teleport things yet!" It more of a statement than a question but still. Teleporting would be totally awesome, it would make stealing things sooo easy. If he had to. Which he wouldn't of course. But if he did. As he escaped from the doubtless chasing Rylarth Bristle snatched on sandwich and gobbled it down.
