WH40K: The Imperial Navy (Sort of a ... nationish roleplay?)

Lets get down to brass tax shall we my friends?(The ACTUAL OOC will have far more detail than this)

Basically, I wish to have an RP in which each of us plays a captain/admiral/royal space man, controlling a ships(or ships) in a myriad of campaigns throughout the Imperium, that WILL have an overarching plot(its a DOOZY, but anyone who aint CO-GM will know it unless they guess it)

The RP will center around not only fleet based combat, with us controlling our ships our groups of ships, it will also be around inter-fleet politics and turmoil, as the structure of the Imperial Navy means an amount of negotiation is required within our fleet.

We will go through many a sector, face down foul Xenos and the Machinations of Chaos and their fleets, and face horrors beyond our imagining.

So... who up fer dis?

Two suggestions to completely ignore if you dont like them: 1) 6-8 people I think might be a lot of people to sign on to a 40K rp of this kind on RPG, just from my experience I'm not sure you'll get that many active players. 2) It might be fun for those who are playing as captains to also have minor characters on each others' ships.

Just my thoughts for the day.

2. As stated this is kind of a nationlike RP, so any captian could control any number of officers on their ship, I'm just saying if someone wants to play a lower officer they can if they want

OH, on other peoples ships... hmmm... possibly... I'll think about ti, could be interesting

For what it's worth, I am 100% willing to go forward with this with 3 people to start, and have others join as they wish. I'm happy to help with whatever necessary legwork there is for the OP, etc.

Well, this seems interesting. But, I must admit the Imperial Navy has never been my forte in 40k lore, so I'd need someone to help me a little (like, the things that would make sense and so on)
