Ozzy goes to follow, but cautiously summons an ally, a rat. He sends it though first, to check for....dangers, past the portal. "Can't be to safe..." He mutters, worried the portal lead to..holy grounds.

The sounds of screams and tearing flesh fills her ears, as the torrent of the undead rushes forth. John grabs Theta. "Hold on to your lunch!" He yells, as suddenly, she vanishes. She ends up in a clean enviroment, a laboratory of some sort....but John did not follow. He remained there, as he summoned a large hand cannon, his ability to summon items from a pocket dimension serving him well...He vanishes for a moment, warping around rapidly, unleashing a huge torrent of bullet fire at the horde. The clone troopers are more resilliant then first expected, the undead meeting a wall of plasma, turning physical projectiles, as well as them, to little more than ash in moments, their suits protecting from both bullets, and the intense heat. Quickly, the apartment building catches fire, and it begins to collapse...the small squad of 6 men begin to make their way down, hoping to get to the outside, in the open....

"Hmmm...Maybe..." Tsubaki says, putting the cigar into her mouth, using a built in lighter in her hand to light it. "..I could perhapse...yes...I have just the thing for this...but it'll be....power intensive, and my last power generator has...been.....depowered..."
Tsubaki visibly grows angry at that.

"Hmmm...Sounds good. Let's get to it, then...." Saied says, before adjusting his stance. "As this is your realm, I do expect you to have the home ground advantage...this..will be interesting..."

He then dashes forwards, his feet a blur as he runs at his foe, blade at the ready. He runs it along the ground, causing rocks, and sparks, to fly...however, before he reaches his foe, he slashes, sending a hail of dust and stone forwards in a plume. A diversion, or something more?

Such a crude attack was an interesting way to start off a battle. Karlos shimmered as he executed a flash step straight upwards. There he hung, waiting for his opponent's next move.

The man emerges from the dust, leaping up below him, using raw strength to fling himself into the air. He aims to slash at the man, but it's far slower than one would expect...he's holding back. Quite a bit.

Mithias gasped as he saw the second explosion. A second one was somehow more unexpected than a first, and he scrutinized rapidly with all his senses, concerned that he may be in danger. Yellow eyes narrowed as the distant lightshow reflected off his pale skin. There, just before it vanished again, the vampire caught a glimpse of a shadow, a humanoid figure, a few miles off. So, somebody was causing these explosions of light, destroying the stone structures and plateaus of this odd location. Could there be a reason? Oh there was always a reason.

The vampire scanned the horizon desperately for any sign of where that being had gone off too. The last thing he wanted was to get jumped (and of course incinerated) by this highly dangerous entity. A third explosion broke the darkness. Thankfully, it was still a safe distance away. There again was the figure.

The air was dry and warm and smelled like clean sand or rather, rock. Mithias considered his approach. This must have been who Bob had meant for him to meet, but suddenly dimension-jumping over there might scare the shit out of them. Running would be best to mask his powers, but staying on the ground was probably a bad idea. The vampire's feet left the ground. He'd better get used to flying.

Somewhere near to where the strange person had been blowing up plateaus, one of the giant, petrified mushrooms began to burn. The organic particles trapped between the molecules of silicon and calcium reacted in the heat, causing a smouldering brightness and giving an orange glow to the entire mushroomy shape. In was like a glowing neon orange phallic icon in the middle of the desert in the otherwise dark of night. Not far from that, Mithias hovered just below the clouds, ready to watch the results of his little distraction.

Another mushroom caught fire, and then another. Eventually the ring of glowing shrooms would be impossible to miss.

Karlos brought his rapier sharply down to meet the swing. He then backflipped away using the force of the parry to land on the ground.

Their pathway isn't blocked by very many of the Residents after a few minutes, as though their intents were read and being allowed, showing the general lack of care in terms of whether or not they were out in the open, or perhaps a preference on part of the aggressers, as their tactics had mainly relied on throwing sheer numbers at them and hoping for the best, their armor remaining largely intact, but it was worth noting that two of the operatives had managed to have their armor destroyed beyond use and their fuel drained so quickly that their flamethrowers were simply dead weight at this point. Though the apartment had burnt to ash, the building's lower half was largely intact, the automated fire prevention systems kicking in rapidly to quell the blaze, though it was also worth noting that they had caused some structural damage, leading them through a weakened building with their plasmathrowers too potent to be used without collapsing the entire thing on them.

Ozzy walks though, his demonic features vanishing, his body shifting, changing him into a tall, 19 year old man wearing a sleek suit, with long black hair, brown eyes, and a wide, cocky grin. Where ever he ended up, he might stick out rather badly.

Theta finds herself in a padded cell, soon some men coming along, bringing food, and a therapist for her to talk to. She's instructed to sit down on a couch that appears in her room, as the therapist sits down into a chair that too, seems to simply appear out of thin air.

Suddenly, a polethera of screens on a near by machine flash red, and Tsubaki rushes over, pressing buttons, in a slight panic.
"What, impossible! No...damn it, that's bad....." She starts, before looking at Kishin. "I...I think it's best if we work quickly. Something's happened, and soon I may need to go into hiding...a Drac Level threat has arrived." She says, terrified.

He finds himself in a futuristic city "boy... things really changed since I was last here." Asura says

"...let me guess." Theta begins with a small chuckle "we're here to talk about the feelings your boss trampled on... I need not say more."

Kishin nods and says "I haven't stabilized the fracture yet, so there's a fifty percent chance we'll get vaporized. But it'll make for a good hiding place, and I'll probably learn a few things." He pauses and adds "if we survive."

"Hmm....." He looks around, taking in a deep breath. "I hate the future....to much convenience..makes my job so much harder..." Ozzy growls, under his breath.

"...Well...yes. I've been there...and I want to help. You're angry...you're hurt......Normally, I'd give you some time before having to do this, but your...powers...make things difficult, no offence meant." The Therapist, an older man wearing a white labcoat, with light grey ashen hair, with a light scar running down his face, says to Theta. "My name is Robert...Nice to meet you, Miss Theta." He adds, although his tone shifts when saying her name, a hint of fear she can actively detect.

"...I'd rather take my chances with the Drac Level threat...." Tsubaki says, before one screen flickers, showing am an in a trench coat, with bandages covering his face. His backround, brimstone and magma....
"I'm coming for you...Tsubaki..." His horsed voice gasps out. It sounds like he is barely alive, on the verge of death itself...

"...Okay, let's get cracken on your idea Kishy!" She says, her opinion doing a full 180.

Kishin nods and opens a portal "ladies first." He says

"How so? I doubt tech affects your effectiveness...." Ozzy says, obviously annoyed at the technological level of the city.

"...I do agree, what they did was un-necessary...I wish...I could of helped." Robert says, growing slightly more worried. However, he gathers himself, and sighs. "..Miss theta..you must remain calm. If you were to show..hostility...it might cause you to be moved to maximum security...and that...is a horrid thing."

Tsubaki moves though, bracing herself for the possibility of something going horribly wrong.

"I don't remember things being this advanced." Asura says "if years have passed in this universe, the person we're looking for may already be..." he stops there

She finds herself in, surprisingly, a rice paddy. Kishin follows and looks around "...Well this was a major disappointment." He mutters

"Hmm...if they are dead, that might make things easier...mind dropping their name?" Ozzy asks, grinning slightly.

"It's far worse than that, miss....trust me. I've been there myself." Robert says, before he starts to pull out some cards, each one with a different picture. He pulls out a picture showing a family, a man, a woman, and two young children, a boy and a girl. "...What does this picture bring to mind?" He asks her.

Tsubaki looks around, using her robotic eye to scan the rice around her. She even, at one point, takes a bite out of some of the rice.
"Worst comes to worst, we've found the king of all snacks...." She chuckles.

The man lands down, pushing off of the parry to land on the ground.
"Of course, if I did not hold back, I risk actually hurting you, and I'd rather not do that." Saied says, putting his blade over his shoulder. He waits for a moment, before he rushes forwards, leaping atop a nearby building, and then at Karlos, aiming to swat him with the flat of the blade, as if he was striking a baseball with a bat.

Karlos flash stepped away from the attack, although his shoulder was bruised by it. He held the blade up to point directly at Saide's throat.
"Let's just end this little dance shall we?

Suddenly, Karlos' weapon bounces off of some kind of invisible forcefield that randomly appeared in front of Saied. The shield seems to be a bubble 360 degrees around Saied, deflecting any attacks that came at him.

Just as Karlos was perplexedly trying to figure out what was going on, a soft, warm male voice cuts in. "Oh there you. Saied. I've been looking all over for you."

Eclipse, the winged paladin with long white hair and blue eyes, in chrome and gold armor, and with a beautiful stylized angelic sword at his side, approached the two fighters at a walk, appearing out of the mist of the distance. "Oh. I see you have a friend." Eclipse stopped and put his hands on his sides. He knew full well that the two had been fighting, for he was the one that had put the bubble shield around Saied. "Is there really so much reason to conflict in a realm of spirits?" Eclipse smiled, not really worried about being in a world for the dead.
