Real Profession? Loki runs the London underground. Narcotics, hallucinogens, uppers, downers, you name it! If it exists, Low Key has a man running the stuff on the streets. And the Kingpin doesn’t just cater to the humans, hell no, he’s got the stuff to get the Sups just as fucked up. He has just plain ol’ blood too, for those too morally weak to do their own hunting, but willing enough to look the other way on how said blood was obtained in the first place. Loki’s real pride and joy, though, is O-neg. Being a vampire scientist with unlimited access to state-of-the-art laboratory equipment, Loki figured out a way to genetically and chemically alter human blood so that it gives vampires the effect of being high - a previously unattainable state for vampires, aside from the very mild effects one could gain from tainted blood. Pressed into tiny red tablets emblazoned with an ‘O’, O-neg does different things for different vamps; For some it feels like ecstasy, some just pot, and some experience hallucinations like with acid. O-neg could take you all the way up to the clouds, and then promptly let you crash through the floorboards. It’s the real deal, and when you’re working with vampire lifespans and immunities, what the hell else do you have to do with your time? Come on, you know you want to try it...

Devilishly handsome, is that enough? No? Okay then. With soulful blue eyes and a tidy crop of chestnut curls, one might almost be convinced that Loki is innocent. But that ever present five o’clock shadow and crooked smirk betray that he is up to absolutely no good, just like the god he was named for. He stands at 5’11” with a toned and muscular build, but not overly so.

Appearances are of utmost importance to the viking - old habits die hard, I guess - and as such, he is hardly ever seen without at least a two piece suit, or a lab coat, if he’s working. Scars? Aye, he got a few of them raiding and trading his way across the Scandinavian homelands back in his human years, but most are easily hidden by his apparel.

Loki is double-edged sword, simply put. Listening to him talk is easy, a trait that made him a good college professor in his past lives. He is very intelligent and tells some of the best stories you’ve ever heard - who knows how true some of them are, though. And, hell, he could charm the pants off of just about anyone; Can, and has, most likely. Even with boatloads of charisma, he can be quite the egotistical dick sometimes. It is glaringly obvious that his own favorite person is, indeed, himself. And though vikings are known for having treated most people relatively equally long before it was the popular opinion, Loki can come off as a bit of a chauvinist. But hey, nobody’s perfect, and that’s something the Trickster never strived to be. If you can sand down those abrasive, crusty edges, you’ll find a real softy inside Loki. He just wants what everyone else wants: to have people truly care about him.

This section could go on for pages, but brevity is in fact the soul of wit. Flóki Björnsson was born to a jarl and his wife in 9th century in the lands now known as Sweden. Growing up in the Vikingar lifestyle was as much as one might expect: tough, violent, bloody, but also noble, adventurous, and enriching. Vikingar ideals make up a lot of who Loki is today, and don’t believe all the clichés and stereotypes you hear about the Vikings, they aren’t the savages history books paint them to be. Flóki’s human life ended in a brutal battle across the sea in what is now Poland. It was a warriors death that would make his father proud, and earn his place in the halls of Valhalla, or Fólkvangr, he wasn’t picky. At least, that wouldn’t have been the case, if he hadn’t woken up after, bloodied in a field among his fallen brothers and sisters with a burning thirst in his throat unlike any he’d ever known. Naturally, he went on to murder the nearest living, breathing thing… or ten. And the rest, they say, is history!

In modern times, Loki makes his mark by finding new ways to turn heads in different locations around the world. Every few years, mostly when people might start to question why he isn’t aging, Loki moves and takes on a new name and identity. He takes his business and the money it makes with him, of course, and though his legal surname changes, his aliases remain, as does his first name. Low Key is not fond of the mass outing of the supernaturals, preferring to keep his nature like his business, underground. Nothing good can come of the humans knowing about the Others, not that he feared them. No, they were a fickle race that was likely to bring about their own demise just to get there point across… and that would make finding a good meal a hell of a lot harder.

There are some people who just want to watch the world burn, Talia is the patron saint of such people, though she’s far from saintly, being a demon and all. Her favorite thing to do is mess with people, especially those who think they’re untouchable. It is her favorite hobby to bring down others, especially if doing so elevates her in their eyes or the eyes of others. She will make a person feel like they are the greatest being in the universe, then crush the foundation of that belief so thoroughly that they will feel like dirt that has been trodden upon by the feet of many. This ultimate destruction is Talia’s favorite thing to orchestrate, and what she spends much of her time on.

She loves to experiment with basically everything, though as time goes on, there are fewer and fewer new things for her to experiment with, leaving her with a feeling of emptiness. She is constantly seeking some new thrill, or even just something to explore that she hasn’t yet, but her searching has found nothing recent to satisfy her desire for the unknown.

Although she is mostly a chaotic demon, she does occasionally enjoy the calm evening at home, resting and enjoying having time to herself with a glass of red wine and a book. On nights like these, she is able to let her guard down and simply exist without feeling pressure to be destroying or exploring. She can live however she likes without leaving the comfort of her sink-in recliner. She would never admit this to anyone, but she cherishes these moments more than anything. Talia was born a few millennia ago, so she doesn’t remember everything that’s happened to her, but she doesn’t really care much either. She has lived among humans for as long as she can remember, she doesn’t know who her parents are, but she doesn’t feel any connection or obligation to them, so she is content to live without that knowledge. She was always less emotional than even quite a few other demons, all she felt was the pride that filled her. She knew from the very start that she was superior to those around her, and has tormented humans for the fun of it every chance she’s had.

More recently, the revelation of the Others to the humans has given her much joy, as it allows her new ways to play with the humans’ minds. She keeps her true nature a secret, but she has sown distrust in the hearts of many. She doesn’t know whether any of the people she has pointed out to the humans have actually been Others, but she doesn’t care enough to find out anyway. She is neither on the side of the humans or the Others, but rather the side of pandemonium, and she continues to spread suspicion through those she meets.

The song choice is obvious for someone who he's only ever seen through the computer. She's fiery, full of passion for her chosen subject, if not necessarily concerned with what she says - at least she's willing to say something. After all, how else would video kill the radio star, if not with pomp, passion, and a willing audience.

Not necessarily familiar with this particular demon, he's got no real quarrel (he's got no quarrel with anyone outside of his mission). Of course, he's seen him on the off-chance in the past and, well, Daniel's changed a lot and not at all. This song choice hits a softer note, tuned to the mournful, soulful sound of a saxophone to enhance the groaning, moaning of regrets of George Michaels. Eyes no longer set on the person of before, but someone of the exact same stance, same smile, same eyes. Time can never mend. Ignorance is kind. No comfort in the truth. Pain is all you find.

Ah, he's never felt that, but from the way Daniel looks at his current flame gives him a good enough idea of how this song feels. Any time he walks by, Michael hums the melody and if giddy enough, changes the song on the jukebox and plays the air-sax with as much passion as a fake-drunk man can muster.

Not just anyone gets that success in any form without having waded through the mud of misfortune. Trials and tribulations, barreling through them with well timed kung-fu moves to the beat of the song define the lyrics perfectly. That's what Eye of the Tiger's about and that's exactly how Michael sees Alistair, however accurate that really is.

She's a performer and people want things from her, want of her, need certain melodies to entertain their dull bar experiences. And it's just a matter of getting out into what the world has to offer. She has the whole package, it's just a matter of the right person seeing that.

Anytime he gets an order for any older Ella records, he makes sure to keep them stocked away for her. She'll come by and he'll quietly sing a tune to give her a little hint at what he's acquired. Though, usually, he likes to start off with Summertime, that old Porgy and Bess - his voice isn't quite operatic, but it goes smoothly enough that he sounds halfway decent singing it.

Like a lot of people, he's only ever seen her and not really had the pleasure of actually meeting her. Billie Jean, though, that seems to describe her quite well. An A+ in his book. She comes in with all her swagger, and men and women and in between alike seem to lose function of the bottom half of their faces. She's a fire cracker and, while he hasn't truly introduced himself, she seems quite the fun individual if not... distant, though he's not sure how well he's pegged that part of her. He could very well be wrong.

The lyrics may be hit or miss — Michael doesn't really know Mordred, just of him — but the beat, the sound of the song, the way Annie Lennox's voice drones a kind of mellow, lazy tone that adds another layer to the song, well that's what he gets from Mordred. And... who knows, it might be a little off, but Michael's not perfect nor can he read minds.

That girl's got ulterior motives and he's not about to find out what those are - especially, since he's kinda into men.

Most of the time, Michael likes to kind of shy away form other angels. They've got a preconceived notion of him. They look at him and already judge him for something he really isn't and, god, Michael hates pedestals. So, all in all, he's never really tried to approach Suriel but he probably slipped up a few times and they've probably at least caught sight of him. He doesn't very much change his earthly appearance and, well, it's really easy to tell if a person is angel if you're an angel yourself.

Regardless, he knows of them and their mission, at least - he's an archangel, that's something he should know, even if... well half of the time he doesn't, this time isn't one of those times. And he's seen her plenty to know she's got a craving for knowledge and, well, maybe the song is kind of hinting at a lost opportunity.

Only ran into her once whilst she kinda had a 'situation'. Kinda hard to miss a kitsune when they're too worried about their survival to hide their appearance - much less when they're unconscious. It's also not hard for Michael to tell that girl way back when was kinda the girl he sees now. Of course, he doesn't know her and this entire song is based more on Kitsunes in general and less about Yukiko. It's bound to change!

Japanese yokai culture always eludes him; he's not spent much time in Japan. If she were a Chinese ghost, that'd be a lot easier to decipher, but he does know she's at least some form of spirit. When a little girl doesn't age beyond 8, well, that's kind of a big tell. Of course, she always looks like the world's gonna come crashing down someday and - well, True Colors is something Michael likes to sing whenever he has the pleasure of being around her. She should know she can do absolutely anything she wants, even if she'll never grow up. Michael's always had a soft spot for little kids. He doesn't like them feeling sad or like they don't belong.

Well, she's a kid, she's allowed to be stuck in her own world, especially when it's been changed so drastically. Yeah, it's not hard to miss those fangs, but then again, Michael's had years of experience weeding out certain supernatural entities and one that's been turned recently, well that's the easiest because she doesn't have the experience of hiding for years, upon years on end.

Another angel! And another angel to avoid. Stairway to Heaven is a great reminder for him to steer clear. These old songs are like that Pavlov experiment. He trains his mind enough humming a particular tune when a person walks into his line of sight and boom, you've got yourself a little alarm. He usually has about half the length of the song to figure out what he's singing and why.

Any time Michael gets even just a smidgen close to Ethan, Daniel's head seems to just swivel his way like the guy's a cat and he just popped open a can of cat food. Except, it's the kind he doesn't like and he bristles behind his counter top and just glares daggers. However, from his time spent in the bar the two seem to hang around, it's quite simple to see just exactly how Ethan looks at Daniel. Well, maybe it's not that easy because Daniel doesn't seem to differentiate the way Ethan looks at him to the way Ethan looks at anyone else.

Maybe that's why he offered her a home and a very very very small portion of the rent to help pay.

They've kind of grown on each other since and he loves putting her displays of art everywhere, especially in his little antique shop. He's had... a number of customers complain about the clay dildos in the display window and a few commending this 'Astrid Kitchener' on her ability to mold them realistically. Haha, he doesn't really wanna know how she knows the exact anatomy of a fully erect penis.
