I started a short-lived RP about merfolk. It was bad. But the reason I started it was, underwater physics, hydrodynamics, pressure, buoyancy... it's fascinating science, and would make for some stupidly awesome fiction if I just had the patience for it (or if I didn't have some other shit going on......)
