"Eliza"

Eliza rolled her eyes and let out a soft sigh through her nose he knew she hated being called by her first name, especially when she was on duty. If they were making camp for the night then she didn't mind but not here, she wouldn't call him Finn afterall. Then again he probably knew it would annoy her and that's why he did it. "Taylor go and get the maps from Kirby for me please." "Yes sir." The soldier replied with a chuckle in his voice.

The town before her seemed very normal for the wasteland, if anything she was slightly impressed by what they had built. During her expeditions to hunt Purist remnants she'd heard of this fairly successful town and if anything seemed that, burning huts and bullet holes aside, it was better than the traders and travellers had said it was. Though when a small girl appeared next to the Ghoul, who Eliza could swear she knew bit just couldn't put a name to it, the girl was more machine than human and spoke almost like an Assaultron and honestly left Eliza on edge, it was a complete unknown and from the screams that proceeded it, it was probably best to not piss it off.

Eliza travelled with Finn, the Ghoul and the Robot as they made their way through the carnage left by the raiders, her rifle slung on her shoulder to try and put the locals at ease, but it didn't seem to allay their opinions, those they passed seemed just as fearful of her and the Enclave roundel on her shoulder as they did of the murder machine in front of her. Hardly surprising really, Public Relations hadn't really made it this far south yet and even then there were still Purists running around down here, that's why she was there afterall.

As they moved past the gate they were rejoined by SGT. Taylor holding a brown leather satchel, newly adorned with a few blood splatters. Looking over to her right she saw why. The rest of her fireteam were trying to pin what appeared to be a Marshall to the ground to stop him flailing in pain as Balletto was trying to remove the bullet lodged in his leg. "It'll hurt a lot less if you'd Stop. Fucking. Movingng" the medic shouted frustratedly. "Taylor go help em out I can handle things here." The Sergeant nodded and made his way over to help pin the wounded man down.

"Here you go sir." Eliza said extending the satchel towards Finn. "Sorry about the blood, couldn't be helped." Eliza tilted her head gesturing towards the injured man being pinned to the ground.

On the road for six hours, six damn hours sat in the same uncomfortable seat with what may as well have been no padding whatsoever. The company wasn't up to much either leaving any conversations more than a little lacking the scenery going past wasn't all bad, the small woods and farms they went past all seemed peaceful enough and given the composition of the convoy encounters with Raiders were few and far between. As the convoy neared the town gunfire rang out across the hills infront of them and as the humvee crested the hill Eliza had a near perfect view of the battle unfolding below them, well she would have done if it weren't for one thing "Snoring noises" yes it woulf seem that not even rather loud explosions of the IFVs primary weapon firing could stir the fair maiden from her beauty nap.

Eliza had been lucky so far, not only had her meatheads and the BoS meatheads not decided to have a punch up but she had also managed to get herself a seat in the Humvee. The humvee trundled down to the towns southern gate, Eliza's head bouncing up and down unceremoniously as the humvee went over the uneven ground, Starlight slung across her chest rattling against her webbing, the occasional snore or grumble disturbing the otherwise relatively peaceful ride for the other occupants.

There was a knocking on her window followed by a deep, calming, southern voice. "Hey Captain you awake in there? We've arrived" Snort"I'm awake, I'm awake I swear, what'd I miss?" "Oh nothin much sir, just the entire firefight." The man said opening the door for her. "Ah nothing important then, oh thankyou Sergeant ever the gentlemen." Eliza gave her arms and legs and good stretch and checked her equipment before retrieving her pack from under her seat. In terms of numbers the Enclave had contributed the least to the expedition, numbering less than half a dozen including herself. But after just ending a bloody civil war could anyone really blame them.

Before reassignment Major Parker gave her pick of the litter when it came to selection for her fireteam, there was herself, SSgt William Kirby (Asst SL), Sgt Daniel Taylor (Grenadier), Cpl Ryan Balletto (medic), Cpl Jose Soto (Marksman) and herself making five in total. The Brotherhood had brought over double their numbers and the Canadians even more so, but Eliza would still bet on them in fight any day. Moving towards the gate itself she noticed Finn engaging in conversation with a Ghoul and beyond them lay the wall itself, the bodiesof Raiders and defenders strewn across the landscape. "Balletto, since the BoS have decided to go hunting, head on in see if there's anything you can do to help. Kirby, Soto go with him and lend a hand, Taylor you're on me." There was an almost synchronised "Yes Sir." From her squad and the three others departed for the town gate.

As Eliza and the Sgt approached Finn and thr Ghoul it was clear their conversation wasn't a friendly one and after the Ghoul appeared to tell him to "Fuck off" and threatening to shoot him it was clear things might escalate. Eliza could sense Taylor's itchy trigger finger and placed her hand on the barrel of his rifle. "Not yet Sergeant, remember we don't shoot the non-ferals on sight anymore." Though she did place her free hand on the grip of her own rifle just to be on the safe side, making sure to keep a sade distance from Finn but within sight of the Ghoul just in case he tried anything funny.
@Blizz @Hamakazekai

Adder and Wen are approved, you are clear to move them across to the character tab and begin posting in the IC.
@blizz

Since Archer is sick I'll be doing your review. I apologise that I'm not as eloquent as he is so I'll keep it brief. Currently there are only 3 issues with Adder and they are relatively minor ones.

Number one: This is perhaps the biggest of the three, There still seems to be a lack of motivation for her to be there. Perhaps having her work with the Marshals could remedy that.

Number 2: Her background is a little unfleshed out but you did make her at almost the last moment after scrapping your previous character so it's not too big of a problem.

Number 3: Throughout the CS you make constant mention of a safehouse. There are a couple of points to do with that, firstly We would need to know where it is even if she never mentions it to anyone IC, secondly does its location make it even worth mentioning and how likely would Adder or the group be to actually going to it, bearing in mind that we are going to be spending most of our time in South Carolina, at least at the start.
Alanna Blasaw & Sable

"Thank you Talik, we both look forward to working with you. Don't we Sable?" The droid remained silent, only awkwardly shuffling his leg as if he was trying to avoid answering the question. "I said dont we Sable?" "Yes Ma'am." The droids tone was timid and for once it seemed as though Alanna's message had finally gotten through his dense head. "Good now come on we need to get your equipment. What about you Ezali? You need to get anything or are you staying here?" "Nah I'm probably gonna stay here and have a look around, come find me when you get back though." "Alright see you in a bit then." The three of them parted ways with Alanna and Sable walking back to the Gunship that had dropped them off."Excuse me pilot, we need to go down to this landing pad." She said handing the pilot a note with coordinates scribbled on it. "It's a private pad so there shouldn't be much in the way of traffic or issues with landing there. We've just gotta grab our equipment from my ship and then we should be good to come back. Is that ok?" The pilot nodded his head and climbed up into his seat. Savle and Alanna stepped inside and the doors closed quickly behind them.

It was on the flight down that Sable finally spoke up. "Are you… are you angry with me Master?" Alanna let out a deep Sigh "No Sable I'm not. I could never be angry with you. Disappointed? Yes, but never angry. You just… you just don't think sometimes. I mean what would have happened if it had been someone else who discovered you listening in on secure channels? I just wish you'd use all that processing power you have to think about the consequences of the stupid shit you do sometimes. But… let's not dwell on that for now, once again you've gotten away with it and as if that wasn't good enough you're going to get to shoot things again. Do a good enough job and maybe this Talik person could become a regular contractor for you." The gunship juddered slightly as it came to a stop on the near empty landing pad, the doors opening to show the pair Alanna's ship, The Atlas, an SS-54assault ship.

"Thank you pilot, we shouldn't be long, just have to get a few bits." It had always been a conundrum for Alanna's Mandalorian friends, why did she keep her and Sable's weapons locked away on her ship, surely having them in easy reach was a better option, well maybe it seemed that way to them but Alanna was quite the overprotective parent and the biggest rule she had was no weapons in the house. With one hyperactive child and one force sensitive child she didn't want to take a risk of either of them taking one and trying to play with it. Add Sable's presence to that and having any sort of weapon in the house was a recipe for disaster. "Well?" She turned to Sable and gave him a 'We're waiting' look. "... Oh right." Sable clicked his fingers and the ramp to the ship lowered, he didn't need to do it but he always liked to show off, Alanna just rolled her eyes and climbed the ramp. "Right you grab our equipment I've got a call to make. And don't forget my backpack and tools." Sable's eyes seemed to light up at his masters instructions and he quickly disappeared into the armoury room. Now that she was relatively alone Alanna headed up into the cockpit and tapped a number into the holo display. After a few moments of waiting an image of a little girl appeared.

"Ki'uk tilsera." A smile appeared on the small girls face. "Hello sweetie, you still sound like you're talking through your nose but good try." "Always a critic aren't you mom. "Only to you sweetie. But in all seriousness Jiari there's something I need to tell you." Alanna shuffled awkwardly in the pilots seat. "Your dad isn't answering my calls so when you get home from school I need you let him know that I'm not going to be home for a few days… some idiot has gotten themselves stuck in the middle of nowhere again so my retirement has been put on hold for a little bit. Oh and before I let you get back to playing with your friends I need something else from you sweetie. You know that… work friend of your fathers that he keeps having… meetings with?" The young girl nodded her head and her expression shifted to a slightly sour one, she knew exactly what her mom was talking about and what was happening between her dad and the… work friend. "Yeah I know sweetheart I know. But anyway I need you to tell me if she comes over to the house at all or if your father has to leave for a… work meeting with her. Can you do that for me Jiari?" "Yeah I can do that mom, though I'm guessing I shouldn't tell dad about the last part?" Alanna gave her daughter a 'really?' Look.

"Master I think I have everything ready." "Ok I'll be there in a second Sable. Right I've gotta go sweetie, give your brother my love and please sweetie, don't take anything out on your dad. Leave that to me." "Ok mom I love you." "I love you too Jiari." And with that the cockpit went dark again as the blue light of the holo display faded away. The pair of them left the ship and sable closed the ramp with another click of his fingers before the pair boarded the gunship and headed back up to the liberator. "Is everything ok Master? You've got quite the thousand yard stare on you. I know you're hurting… are you sure you don't want me to castrate him and feed them to him?" It took a moment for Sable's words to fully register with Alanna but they were enough to snap her out of the trance. "Huh what? No, no, no you're not castrating Laars. With what I've got planned… he'll be wishing that, that was his fate. The gunship jerked a little again as it came to a stop in the liberators hangar. "Right Come on Sable." She took her backpack from the droid and slung it over her shoulder. "Lets go and find what trouble Ezali has gotten herself into.
Alanna & Ezali

The journey to the surface was getting quiet between the two of them, Alanna still unsure of1 opening up to her friend about what was really going on. And Ezali impatiently waiting for her friend to explain why she seems so off and why she was so unsure of her words when talking about Laars.
Station-to-Groundside was a short trip, but even with all the chattering of the other passengers, it still seemed like a long and quiet flight. ”So,” Ezali said eventually, stifling a small sigh inside her helmet. ”How are the twins doing? Is Firith still ‘Banner-mad’? Or has he found a new distraction?” She’d only met Alanna’s family a couple times, mostly in passing on those few occasions when she’d stopped by to bug Alanna at work.
Firith’s eyes had lit up like a sensor board when he’d first seen her, and until Laars, Alanna’s husband had dragged both of the kids away to catch their shuttle, he’d been an endless stream of questions about her gear, where she’d been, what she’d done. Ezali had done her best to answer what she could, in a kid friendly manner, but was losing ground until she bought them all a few moments silence by letting Firith try her helmet on.
Jiari, almost unsurprisingly considering she was apparently a Force-sensitive, seemed much older than her tender years, speaking considerably less than her brother and taking in much more of the world around her. Laars seemed nice enough, though a bit stand-offish, though she chalked that up to jealousy because she was ‘True Mandalorian’, something that one still ran into from time to time.
Alanna shook her head, Ezali had never been one for small talk and it was clear that there was more thay Ezali wanted to know and Alanna reckoned she knew what. "Firith's fine, for now, more concerned with his sister for the time being." Alanna leaned back in her seat and looked towards her friend. "It's obvious there's more to this Ezali and since small talk has never been your thing I'd prefer you just came out and said it."
”Wayii! Jorhaa'ir, nayc jorhaa'ir, gotal'ur laam gar kovid...” Ezali muttered softly into her helmet. ”Alright, but I iwas going until we got somewhere a little more private.” Even though she was keeping her voice low, Ezali still leaned in towards Alanna. ”If you want to make it in my line of work, one thing you need to get good at, is ‘reading’ folks. Tell who’s lying, who’s scared etcetera...and I’ve known you long enough, and I’m good enough at my job to know something is up Lanna.”

Her voice carried a mostly ‘flat’ no nonsense tone, but at the same time it was tinged with concern for her friend. ”I know it’s got something to do with your husband. You broke eye contact for a moment when you said his name, the way your lekku twitched at the same time, or the fact that you didn’t mention him in your retirement plans.” She let out a sigh, and in a move that managed to generate a few half-heard grumbles from a couple of other ‘True Mandalorian’ shuttle passengers, she pulled her helmet off and looked at her friend with concern. ”Please, can you tell me what’s wrong? I just want to help, if I can.”
Ezalis tone was a fair one, Alanna had heard that phrase before and while she didn't know the direct translation she would hazard a guess at 'make up your damn mind'. And considering less than 10 minutes ago she didn't want to talk and was now asking what Ezali's question was, it was a fair comment. Alanna took a moment to think, on the one hand she was so close to pulling her plan off and kicking the two timing snake out of her house. But on the other, she'd had this all bottled up for so long that she needed a release, someone to vent about it too. But if Ezali cared as much as she said she did could learning the truth about what was going on cause her to do something stupid?
Whether to tell her or anyone for that matter had been on Alanna's mind for a while, Ezali had been her closest friend for a few years now, one of the few people Alanna was comfortable being open about things with. Alanna nodded to herself as she reached her decision. "Alright, alright. You're right I know I can tell you. But I need an assurance that after I tell you, you won't go and do something stupid until I say you can. Can you promise me that?"
Ezali’s face twisted with concern at Alanna’s words, but there was little to do but accept her friend’s terms. Bat ner ijaat, She replied, placing her right hand over her heart. ”On my honour.”
Alanna nodded her head and pulled her jacket sleeve up revealing her wrist console. Pushing a few buttons the image of a woman appeared, looking no more than maybe 20 with long flowing blonde hair. "This, this right here is what's getting me down. She's a new girl on Laars's shift… but… I'm pretty sure she's also the girl he's sleeping with instead of me."
Ezali’s eyes narrowed at the holo. Pretty enough I guess, though if I was goin’ for a human, I’d go redhead...bit young.

”How certain are you?” It wasn’t her doubting her friend, she just wanted to get a feel for how serious it was. ”You want me to run her through the system?” She added, fingers drumming on her helmet.
"Well I found a bra stuffed under our bed, that didn't belong to me and didn't fit me either. It also had her name on the label. She's also not wanted… unfortunately, I was on the panel doing her interviews, we made sure this time that we didn't hire criminals."
”Okay, that is pretty damning,” Thoughts of how she’d confront the hut'uun who’d hurt her friend started to form. ”I take it from your demeanor you’ve yet to confront him about this.” An eyebrow arched questioningly.
"I haven't no. My plan is to do it tonight, I've arranged for the kids to go to their grandparents, I don't want them there in case it turns… ugly. It was a strange feeling this, like a weight was slowly being lifted off of her shoulders. She'd suspected something since just after Jiari and Firith's seventh birthday but she'd only known what was happening for just over a month, but she hadn't sat around and moped.
Sure Alanna was heart broken. To her this was the ultimate betrayal, after everything she went through as a child Alanna had tried her damndest to rebuild her life on Mandalore and to do that she had opened her heart to Laars, given him everything that she was and now he'd thrown it away. But Laars had forgotten just who his wife was and more importantly, who her family were. Though Sable didn't know it, thanks to some memory wipes, he'd been helping her plan her revenge. No, it wasn't going to be torturing him for hours on end until he's begging for mercy, though inside she wished it was, but his life would be absolutely ruined as a result.
Ezali sighed and rested a companionable hand on Alanna’s shoulder. ”You’ll get through this. I’m planning on being in-system for a while, so if you ever want to call to vent or whatever, please, don’t hesitate.” She was doing her best to keep her temper, but she found it difficult. Though she’d been born on Coruscant and not introduced to the Mandalorian way of life until she was about ten, she had taken to it like a gungan to water. To raise children, and train them to be worthy of being called ‘Mandalorian’ was the highest aim of any worthwhile Mandalorian; that someone would cast that all aside for a fling was infuriating.
He’d hurt her friend, and his actions spat on her very culture; he was going to hurt badly.
It was reassuring to the Twi'lek to know that she had a friend who cared about her so much, it's just a shame that Alanna planned to drink enough to forget about the whole ordeal and Ezali was such a lightweight. "I appreciate it, I really do. Just try to be free tonight and probably tomorrow as well because I plan on having a hangover that lasts a good while.

Ezali sighed and shook her head. ”Fine, but if you get your ass thrown in lock up because you get too hammered, I reserve the right to laugh at you.”
Sable

"You call these value for money? look at it, it's bruised… all of them are bruised. Sable had been ranting at the young stall attendant for over 20 minutes now because her vegetables were bruised or too small for the price. "B… But you bruised some of them." The attendant meekly replied from her position of cowering in the corner. "Irrelevant.".

From behind a curtain an older man with a walking stick emerged, giving a look of 'Oh for fucks sake not again. He consoled the girl who couldn't have been more than 16 or so before turning to Sable. "You do this every, damn, week. My granddaughter is helping me out in my old age and you're not. There was a metallic clunk as the old man hit Sable on the head with his stick. "You're just lucky that your master is well liked around here or no one would sell you anything. Now either pay for your stuff or leav…" The old man was cut off by Sable sticking his finger up to shush him.

Sable was still patched into the secure comm channels and a new arrival had caught his attention. Sable put his bag of various fruits and vegetables down and walked off, the old man still ranting about how much of an ass the droid was. "A lucrehulk you say? From CIS space? Badly damaged? Rebel leader? This was some juicy news that Sable had 'stumbled' upon. Perhaps he'd found himself a job opportunity for himself and Alanna. Sable hurried off in the direction of the shuttle port, arriving just before his master landed.
