I've been involved in the world of forum-based RPG's for 10 years now, and I'm looking to at some level make it my career, adapting some of my prior stories into other media. Currently I'm attending graduate school in Southern Illinois for Communication Studies.
Avid RPG fan, outdoorsman, traveler, and writer -- I'm hoping to get back into forum RPG's after some time apart, expand on some of the story ideas I've had and participate in others' RPG's as a means for relaxation and creative means. I will be busy with graduate school starting midway through August of this year (2015), and so my participation may become limited at that time. I hope that is not the case, but we shall see.
I am always happy to consult with people on RPG game design, I've adapted different tabletop systems into forum-compatible forms and am generally happy to help with story, character, or mechanic generation. Feel free to PM me at any time with any such concern.

Question, I guess this is just generally but it can also apply to this one. What if our story straddles multiple topics? Could we resubmit the story if a prompt comes up that might be more 'on the nose'? Like, say a person wrote about an ambivalent favorite character wanting to die, fulfilling the first and third labors, could a person submit their story for both?
Hello Roleplayerguild! I just wanted to call attention to the fact that there's a very important birthday for us today. Dungeons and Dragons had its 40th anniversary today. I think we can all agree that in some manner we all owe something to this game and so I just wanted to say "happy anniversary!" To the oldest and probably most well-known RPG out there.
