Hope you're having a great day! Not much to say about me: I've been roleplaying on and off for the past ten years or so. Hasn't always been active, but I enjoy roleplaying when I get a chance. I usually lean towards 1x1 these days on account that my job keeps me pretty busy (and it's easier for me to keep track!), but I try to reply at least once a day.

If you want to run something, or just want to chat or brainstorm, give a shout!

@Hostile Sounds like most games of Stellaris I have, except while I'm an expansionist Imperium, everyone else around me tends to either be Federation Builders or Democratic Crusaders. Truly, there is only war.

And corvettes. Lots and Lots of Corvettes.

Another Paradox game I'm trying to learn is Hearts of Iron IV. It's definitely more accessible than the past games, but I'm just trying to figure out effective ways to research, produce, and just survive with any given country. I don't think I'll be trying Poland again any time soon, even if you can go super ahistorical with them.
In between RP and real life considerations, any of you play video/PC/board games?

Currently I've been on a bit of a Star Wars: Old Republic resurgence. I'm replaying the Imperial Agent storyline; it's by far my favorite, if only because the story actually has a lot of little variations depending on what choices you made in previous chapters. This goes even as far as the Knights of the Fallen Empire campaign, which is really impressive.

For simpler games, I also am playing Enter the Gungeon. A top-down rogue-like shooter which is out to kill you via bullet-hell, and where your weapons are either ridiculously lethal or laughably pathetic, RNG depending. Disabling the default music and replacing it with heavy metal or any music genre of your choice is my recommendation to get pumped up for the next playthrough.

Board-game wise, whenever I can get the players for it, the XCOM board game has been a favorite of mine. It's a four-player co-op game where everyone takes a role (Commander, Squad Leader, Scientist, Communications) and requires the use of an app to show the flow of the game. Like the original game it's based on, the tutorial can kill you. It's a blast when everyone's working under pressure.

How about the rest of you? What do you all play?
Welcome! Hope you find many RPs that you enjoy!
I'm brand new to these systems in general; I just picked up Age of Rebellion, but I could definitely use advice starting out. Thanks!
I'm interested! I've had some folks at the local gaming store trying to get me into Age of Rebellion; is that a similar system? Otherwise I'm new to this format.

Count me in!
So we would be volunteering for self contained story arc crossovers between Marvel and DC?

You have my interest sir! I'm not sure if I could do it justice (ha), but Batman vs. HYDRA? There's a thought.
No worries! I totally get the crazy schedules (I suffer them all the time with this job). Just looking forward to starting! :D
I can't tell if our substitute teacher is mocking us or about to unleash mad MAGIC (TM) on us.

Or both. Both are distinctly possible too.
Standing by, and looking forward to seeing this start!
Aaaaand done. :)
