Heather's eyes flickered over to the others in the kitchen and she stepped closer to Alex. Her brown eyes flickered to look at him when he asked her if she cooked. "Y-Yeah. I taught myself when I was old enough to learn how to use a stove without hurting myself." She said softly, glancing at the fridge.

"I can make soup! My mom told me once that soup is good if you aren't feeling well." Heather said, she didn't want to say goodbye to him yet. Her face may've hid her sadness at the thought of being left alone in her room but the turmoil in her eyes was obvious.
