Arcadis was on yet another street corner performing his illusion tricks to con people out of their money. "Come on over people see if you can find the ball!" Yeah it was an old school trick, but with his abilities he could easily control where the ball was, or at least where the poor sap saw it. Someone stepped up and put ten dollars on the table. "Ah my next victi- I mean customer. Alright keep on your eye on the ball. Arcadis shuffles around the cups with a ball under one. The guy points to the left one and Arcadis lifts the cup. "Good eye good eye. Alright give me one more try, we'll pick up the speed a bit." He shuffles the cups again but a little faster. "Ok where's the ball?" The guy points to the left cup again and Arcadis lifts the cup. "Man you're good at this." Arcadis puts a 10 on the table. "Ok double or nothing. Deal? Alright take it easy this time, you're gonna me me go broke out here." He shuffles the cups again only this time making the ball disappear. "Ok where is it?" The guy pick the right cup this time and Arcadis lifts it up. "Ohh looks like your luck ran out. Better luck next time." The guy was frustrated and tipped over the cups. There the ball was, sitting under the right cup but he couldn't see it. "Where is it?" Arcadis smiles. "Check your pocket." He reached in his coat pocket and pulled out a ball, or at least he thought he did. He smiled and threw another 10 on the table and started walking away. "Good trick." With that guy gone the streets were pretty empty so Arcadis decided to pick up and head out.

Draconis jumps a bit as he hears a thud a few stools away. He looks over to see the drunk girl on the floor and the bar tender rushing to her side. Draconis gets off his stool quickly to help him move her. He grabs one of her arms and puts it around his shoulders while his own arm goes around her waist. "Alright, where to?"

Belleville is a small, thriving city seemingly in the middle of nowhere Illinois. Everything about this city seems perfectly normal from the people to the buildings. At least from an outside point of view. Little do the human denizens know it, but the city of Belleville is run by the supernatural. Everything from demons and dragons all the way down to fairies and goblins take on human form and run the city. They fill positions from the Mayor all the way down every day jobs like cashiers. But interacting with humans all day long can get bothersome.
Thankfully there is a place of refuge for the non humans. An underground bar where everybody can feel free in their natural forms. This bar is called The Underground. Here, creatures of all shapes and sizes are welcome without fear of persecution, for the most part. What if a human walks in, you ask? Well this bar is protected by a spell that, when a human comes near, they are made to believe that they urgently need to be elsewhere. It is, however, possible that a human may be invited in, but that is quite a rare occurance although it does still happen.
Now, from time to time, non humans cause a bit of trouble and the police may not be able to be sent since a large part of the force is human. So a separate task force had been created purely out of non human beings. This force is called the NRT or Non-human Response Team. Break any laws, human or non, and you will face some of the most fierce beings of the underground.

Rules

Here comes everyone's favorite part... The rules

1. No godmod, as it is in just about EVERY role-play.
2. No control over other peoples characters without permission. This includes killing them. Kill/control as many NPC's as you like (within reason)
3. Listen to the GM (me) and any Co GM's I may appoint.
4. Keep the swearing to a dull roar. I don't have a problem with swearing but others might.
5. Romance is encouraged but no sexual acts. At least not in here, what's in your PM box is none of my business.
6. As always, have fun.
