@Lady Amalthea I misunderstood how you wanted the characters handled. I had assumed that since you had introduced these characters into the scene, but they were not "full-fledged" player characters with sheets and everything that they were more or less fair game for control within the scene. If that's an issue for you I won't do it again. My bad.

Royal Family ETA: 36 Hours

@Lady AmaltheaThe bell of the front lobby rang again right as the cheerful morning greeting had left Lola's mouth. Looks like either somebody was looking for a place to use the bathroom urgently, or the weaponsmiths had their first customer for the day.

"I hope I didn't arrive too early, but I saw the door was unlocked," called out the distinctive voice of Florina Hale, or Flo as the Mark sisters knew her from the lobby. Florina was a refined woman with skin the color of coffee that had had a tad too much cream added, high cheekbones, wild, thick hair that had more than a minor amount of grey streaks and a steely gaze through eyes as dark as coal. She was one of the odd regular customers the shop had, making a visit at least every other week and almost every other day at most. Flo was marked as one of the even fewer non-noble members of the regular customers and she actually paid the asking price for weapons to boot.

Normally she would choose the late, late afternoon for her visits, right before the storefront would close. Perhaps the imminent arrival of the Royal family urged her to fix some (or create new) irregularities in her schedule. Regardless, she was the type to wait quietly and persistently if impatiently until served. Dealing with her was not an urgent need, but one of the Mark sisters would need to see to her eventually.

@Nallore The man Anthony was waiting for stepped through the door of the coffee shop. His name was Lenard Marx and he was kind of a dumpy guy who had early balding issues reaching back to high school days. Luckily for him, the fashion of the day made his constant adornment of wigs socially acceptable rather than just an obvious cover-up for his lack of hair. He stood by the doorway, looking around for a few seconds before he spotted Anthony and made his way over to the table.

"Hey man, how's it been going?" Lenard covered a yawn with the crook of his elbow before blinking a few times. Clearly he was still not 100% awake yet, but he was here and interested in getting a conversation started. Well that and a hefty cup of coffee.

@FantasyChic Brandon had just set his drink down when two more people entered the bar. The one who seemed to take the lead was a man in his mid-to-late 50s and behind him was another who looked like he was in his early 40s. They both wore suits and definitely were not the usual fare who would show up at a bar this early in the morning, and they attracted the eye of just about every patron who still had their wits about them. The elder of the duo stepped forwards towards the counter, ending up right next to Brandon.

"Are you the owner of this bar, ma'am?" He asked as more of a courtesy than a serious inquiry. Both men reached into one of their pockets and pulled out what looked like wallets, they flipped it open to reveal police badges, a detail that most of the bar didn't miss. "NCPD. We're just here to ask some questions, if you've got the time, ma'am." Neither of them appeared to be hostile, nor did they appear or be aware of, or care about the many daggers being glared at them from behind.
Alright @Filthy Mudblood, you haven't since the timer began and have passed the deadline so you've been removed from the RP. Post will be up by tomorrow at the latest.

Nor looked blankly at Thomas through his many ramblings. He understood maybe half of anything he'd said, but chalked it all up to a bunch of arcane mumbo jumbo. Nothing involving arcane magic ever seemed to make much sense. Wave your arms around like a buffoon, throw around some toenail clippings and then that somehow makes a bolt of lightning? And that was just the practice of it. The word form was even more nonsensical. Try bringing up a star to a wizard type and they'll chat your ear off about astrological something or others and the phases of the ocean. Were it not for the fact that they could break reality, they'd have probably been rounded up and tossed in looney bins long ago. And then they have the gall to be surprised when nobody trusts their lot.

"I'm a barber, lad." Nor replied curtly to Ntaj. Had he not heard a word of the plethora of pronouncements he'd just made about hair? Of course he could speak the elvish tongue just fine though. "'Merchant' doesn't quite do me justice. Implies I be buying and selling things I've no interest in. Forms the wrong impression. But what did ye have in mind? I might be able te make it work."

Traveling outside of Justice? Well it would be her first time out of the city since she officially moved in. Would probably do her some good. Mali let herself relax some in the car in preparation for a lengthy car ride. Justice was a pretty spread out place, and the traffic brought about by the current time of day would only stretch out the time spent here further. Wait, would Relic have enough cash on him to cover the cab fee? Did she? Probably.

"Oh that? I got into it a few years ago while I was still in University. If I recall correctly it was my Junior year and I was in a bit of a rough spot psychologically. I was browsing the internet and somehow I'd ended up bodybuilding competition video. Confidence beamed out of every pore of the contestants, and I guess I found that beautiful and wanted that same kind of beauty for myself. I ended up diving in headfirst into weight training without actually bothering to really study up on what I was getting into, at least at first. But it gave me something constructive to focus on and looking back I don't know what I would have done otherwise. It's a niche lifestyle, especially for women, but I'm a lot happier with my body now than I ever was before." Mali shrugged nonchalantly, origin story out and done with.

"On top of that, these muscles aren't just for show, I can open pickle jars like nobody's business."
I didn't ask for this.
I wouldn't start post-combat collabs until the combat's over. For all you know we might all die within the next 2 rounds of combat.

Lionel idly wondered why he or any of the other surviving Vengeance crew members were here anyways. Anisa clearly didn't have anything to say to any of them. Then again, why were any of them here in this meeting anyways? This same information could have been just as easily distributed over the intercom and everyone probably would have been better off than this ill-thought out arrangement.

Meeting with a room full of psychos aside, Lionel had bigger things to worry about. Right now aboard this ship, he effectively had nothing. This was an unacceptable state of things, especially now that he knew about the Alliance's little plan to use Reavers as soldiers. Fuck that. But to load up on resources would require some rather specific travel plans which would need to be approved by Captain Crowe and right now she was having a discussion with what seemed like the only sane member of the Alliance crew. So he'd stick around the conference room until they were done and see about talking to Crowe.

Yep. Sit around and wait. With nothing to do. Fuck.

"Sorry te disappoint ye, lad but I stopped drinkin' long ago. Maybe if ye caught me ooooh 20or 30 years back I woulda taken that drink merrily. But now? Not so much." Nor pulled out a chair at the table before hopping up and clambering into a proper sitting position. He'd been doing this shit for years, but he'd still end up fucking it up very rarely. Luckily now wasn't one of those times. Nevertheless, he still resented the tall races for making all their furniture too fucking tall.

"And I'm Nor Dunadkar, son of Gnor. I come from the lands of Arian. A very mountainous country too the far South." Nor clearly wasn't part of the current conversation between the two warriors, but here he was anyways. They were exchanging pleasantries and the like, so he would too. Not like there was anything else to do in the godsforsaken village while waiting on his one customer to settle his business.

"Master Yomdi, he just said that her original injury was hypothermia caused by overexertion while performing a magical spell." This Yomdi was quite the card indeed. After listening to Keystone recount the entire chronicle for what had happened, he asked for information he'd already received. Old age might have affected his ability to hear/remember and there were plenty of cases of such things occurring. She'd even met some senior druids who appeared to have gone completely senile, but at the point where she had almost given up on conversation, they would show a glimpse of the true extent of their wisdom. She'd just have to hope that this was something of a similar situation.

"I've got one sister," Mali replied, eyes switching between Relic and the window to her right."Her name's Kanda. Don't really know her well. She was born when I was 13, and at that age she was just a noisemaker that wouldn't let me get any sleep. By the time I moved out of the house she was only 5 or so. I only visit my folks a couple of times of the year, so I only see her for maybe a week or two total per year. Feels more like a cousin than a sister, really. I think she's starting middle school next week. Or was that last week? Whatever." Her tone of voice was a smidge awkward and the cadence was uneven. She would get hung up on a single word for a few seconds before the rest of her sentence spilled out like a slinky knocked over the side of a table.

"So where exactly are we going? Or do you want to keep it a surprise from me alone?" She asked after waiting a few seconds, her voice resuming its usual tone and rhythm.
