@KatherinWinter@Polaris North Kiadi walked into the room Cassandra was waiting in shortly after Fred had prepared her. "There you are, dear. Are you ready?" the old man asked. He was fairly tall with a long face with a white goatee. His hair was the same silvery white, tied in a short ponytail behind his gead. Cassandra smiled and hugged her mentor. "I am now that you're here, master." She put her arm into his, waiting by the door until they were both fully prepared. Kiadi coughed into his free elbow, the sound of it being harsh and sickly. It worried Cassandra because he sounded much worse than he was the last time they saw one another. "I have been waiting for this day for quite some time, Cassandra. Ever since you were a little girl, I've wanted to see you get married. Of course, I always thought it would be with Duniva, though I'm happy either way. You've fulfilled this old man's final wish, Cassandra. Thank you." Cassandra smiled brightly and kissed Kiadi on the cheek. "I'm happy you're here, too, master. Are you ready?" Kiadi nodded with a soft smile. Cassandra's heart skipped a beat as she heard the music starting up. The one thing she was worried about at this point were Antonio's children. They were both young and quite rambunctious, especially in crowded rooms.
@Polaris North That's fine. It gives me time to let Cassandra and Kiadi have a few words before she gets out there
@KatherinWinter@Polaris North Cassandra was smiling her usual pleasant smile as she was led to the chapel. It was very difficult for her to not be happy or at to display happiness, so a soft smile was almost always placed on her lips. A few moments passed after Fred asked her about the aisle walk. "Hmm? Oh, yes! My old friend Kiadi is going to walk me down. He should be around here close, he wanted to see me before we walked down the aisle, but couldn't make it up to the room." Kiadi was a very old man who had known Cassandra longer than anyone else. He had trained her in many ways, helping her through school, teaching her martial arts, teaching her inner peace, and all that jazz. But he was quite old, and his health wasn't very well. Which made this marriage thing really convenient because now he would be able to see her get married and even walk her down the aisle. Cassandra was incredibly excited for that purpose alone.
@KatherinWinter@Polaris North Mmmk, so I am back, I am so so sorry. I'm trying to get things back in order, it's just really difficult right now. I saw that you said to post me arriving at the chapel, so I'm gonna do that now ^.^
@KatherinWinter I'm here, I'm so sorry. I've been going through quite a bit of crap recently and I've been super sick the past few days, too.
@KatherinWinter I thought he was saying that he was gonna take her when she was ready
@KatherinWinter Cassandra smiled brightly and double checked to make sure she had everything. She was extremely excited to see who she was being married off to, and she was even more excited to have her instructor walk her down the aisle. The only thing is, she had always figured it would be Duniva she was being married to, not some stranger. But oh well, life is full of twists and turns. And besides, she still loved Duniva dearly, it wasn't like she would not be able to see her ever again. "I'll probably be ready as soon as we get there. I have no reason to waste anymore time," Cassandra said, stepping out and closing the door behind her.
Cassandra looked around as if something nearby would help her remember. "Yes, gimme just a moment to go get those two things," she finally answersed. She disappeared into her room for a moment, rummaging through her things before finally finding the bag she was looking for. Making her way back over to Fred, she grabbed the ring box from inside and held it in her hand. "Here is the ring, and here is the gift. My instructor, Kiadi, will be walking me down the aisle, and as for that third question I will be using the ones provided by the experts because I don't know crap about words."
@KatherinWinter@Polaris North Cassandra jumped at the sudden knocking on her room door. The woman that was with her had left some time ago to help her husband with the children. She got up and headed to the door, making sure her hair and dress looked straight. It was a simple outfit she had decided to wear, nothing real big and fancy with a floral design that opposed the traditional white wedding dress. Some would call it a bit of a rebellious act, but her friends would admit that she merely forgot that the dress the bride wears is usually white at a wedding. Opening the door, she met eyes with Fred and smiled brightly. "Hello, can I help you?" she asked sweetly, her voice staying soft and sweet.
