This looks interesting, and full of satyr, but sounds like I got here a little too late. Let me know if a spot ever opens back up. This sort of reminds me of Adventure Time for some reason.
I'm interested in this. I don't know the guild's discord though.

But would there be a place for someone who specializes in electro-mechanical engineering and studies (but doesn't really practice) all aspects of time and time travel, I guess technically it would just be a degree in quantum mechanics. But would be in a lab-type setting trying to find feasible ways of achieving time travel as a means to overcome large distances in space.

Name: Luther Husden (pronounced Whose Den)
Gender: Male
Age:27
Appearance: His head was shaven clean, eyes reflecting an ethereal icy blue. He had eccentric and defined markings that were much like black tattoos or birthmarks that spanned his whole body. His lips were white with a thinly outlined mouth and a strong jaw. He was about 6'1" tall, with a slender build.

Bio:
Luther was born an only child in Germany in around 2155 to a mother whom died giving birth. His father abandoned him fairly early in life, about the age of seven, where Luther was left to fend for himself in the streets. The heads of the school systems took pity on him and allowed him to stay enrolled in school through most of his early years, knowing it was the best hope for him. And the only things he really enjoyed in life were his school work and several small hobbies surrounding it.

He excelled in his studies, and in time, earned a scholarship to go to college later on, at about the age of twenty. He focused mainly on programming, electro-mechanical engineering, and quantum mechanics for several years. His devotion to those fields did not earn him much respect or recognition, but he was perfectly content thriving in his own environment alone with his studies.

Luther struggled through much of his life, but by the age of 27, he seemed to be getting things right, everything would soon fall into place as he was invited by Voyager Industries to join in a new colonization effort far beyond the boundaries of anywhere he'd ever imagine he'd make it.

Psychological Profile: Luther has a sort of sadistic nature towards most people he views as below him. He has paranoid tendencies that he has kept well hidden over time. And he is both a cynic and a romantic who is mildly interested in social experimentation as a hobby. But on the surface, he is very calm and collective. He is understanding, respectful, and kind to his fellow colleagues. And he is a bit withdrawn, socially awkward.

Sees the use and necessity for colonization of other planets beyond our origins. Not many fond memories of life on Earth. Tries to stay out of politics in general. Sees the company as a possible saving grace and clings to it.

Skillset/Occupation:
Electro-mechanical Engineer
Programming
Studies in quantum mechanics

Relationships and Acquaintances: He pretty much keeps to himself most times. He easily makes friends with animals akin to cats (big and small) and birds like crows. But for the most part, steers clear of most people unless he is forced to interact with them.

Hey there. I'm kinda new too, but welcome!

From what I've seen so far, this site is pretty active, and the people are very nice. I hope you enjoy your stay. I know I am so far.
No problem. :D

@Fancy Party You have a great username. Welcome!

Thank you! You do too.

I'm interested. I'd probably build a character with detection, because it sounds the most useful in terms of martial arts appliances and ability. But they all have practical uses.
Well I hope you enjoy every aspect of your new home :)

Thank you, I think I will. It feels like home already to me anyway. And I like your jaguars :D Big cats are the best.
I'm very interested in this, did it ever get made into a game? Or is it still waiting for more players? If it's already made, please direct me to the thread. If not, I'll work on making my character sheet now. But it seems like a fun thing to get into. So count me in if it's not already closed.

Also, as for "in-between" are neutral beings allowed?

Edit: Character Sheet
Name: Felix Faust
Age: 31
Gender: Male
Appearance: An androgynous looking man with pale white skin, shoulder-length straight black hair, metallic grey eyes, and stoic facial features. Five foot, eleven inches tall with a lean but thin build.

Bio: Hundreds of years of engineering humans to be virus resistant, structurally sound, ultimately efficient creatures has lead to his creation, with a mind-to-machine interface, and a mesh of mechanically enhanced features. He would consider himself neutral, but to most, his past reflect a man with questionable ethics and even more questionable actions.

Feats of strength: Not particularly much stronger than the average human, stronger yes, but not enough so to show anything too monumentally spectacular. Compensates through other feats of agility and intelligence. But if you must have a feat of strength, he once opened a jar of pickles with one hand!

Feats of agility: Can move much faster than average, not overly flexible, but does have heightened dexterity and reaction times through much physical practice and mental discipline. Can weave through a crowd full of people at a pace faster than most can comprehend.

Feats of toughness: Tougher than your average human, but not so much so that he cannot be beaten. Skin is somewhat synthetic and has regenerative properties. Doesn't heal instantly, but fast enough to not be able to be picked apart to pieces. Though his parts can easily be repaired or replaced if need be.

Feats of intelligence: Capable of bending space and time with his thoughts. Not a constant state of manipulation from the mind, just more that it takes the right thoughts to manipulate a certain aspect of something. Could be used to, for example, take an area of space, and manipulate that field's time to speed up to the point in that crossing that field would push you through it fast enough to break the sound barrier and generate a sonic boom. Can be used to push things beyond the speed of light, to teleport.

Feats of willpower: Very persistent. Has not died yet.

Feats of luck: Has actually pretty bad luck, has had more run-ins with near-death and friends dying around him than should naturally occur.

Feats of perception: The ability to zoom in/out field of vision, hearing like a safe-cracker, and sense of touch capable of extending past human reach, into the air surrounding.

Equipment: Nothing worth noting, aside from a .50 caliber sniper rifle and the case it's carried in.

Universe of Origin: A dystopian futuristic version of Earth.
Lol, that's alright! It's good you've already got the hang of things if you're already finding RPs you like. Welcome to the guild!

Thank you. I'm enjoying my time here so far. I think I'm gonna really like it here.

I like your signature by the way.
I uh, almost completely glossed over this section, already getting caught up in what roleplays I might want to get into. Right, so, introductions. So I guess I'll take a step back and start here. Hello, I'm Matt.

I'm just looking for an active and supportive roleplaying community. My preferred genres are Science Fiction, Supernatural, and some Dark and Apocalyptic. Though I'll play pretty much any kind of roleplaying game, as long as its interesting and well-organized.

I'm sort of out of practice at the moment, but I use roleplaying mostly to get back into writing as practice for my book. I'm usually a decent writer, but have gone long periods without writing. So like I said, a bit out of practice. But can pick it back up pretty quickly.

As long as the community I'm in is active, and I feel like I belong there, then I'll probably be there a while trying to get better, learning from the community and getting to know them.

I'll most likely be sticking to casuals to start, until I get better at making longer posts again. Still just getting back into this whole forum stuff again.

Either way, thanks for reading.
