I'm fine with the current pace, since I'm also a slowpoke. I wouldn't mind too much if we quickened it though; consider me apathetic about whether or not to increase the place. I would like some new players, and maybe an increase in the in-game speed(it's been months and most of the PCs haven't even met each other yet).

She whirls around and leaps at Rina and Aron, wings boosting her flight. Seeing the orc approach her, she slashes Predator in an offensive motion, stopping it barely centimeters from cutting the orc. "Get away from her!" she shouts, leaning over Rina. "Rina, Rina, are you okay? Did the spider get you?"

Without waiting for an answer, Alison cranes her head and gives the orc a hard stare, even though she knows her eyes won't be seen through the shadows of her mask. "You!" she says. "What were you trying to do my knight?!"

The spiked tentacle swells and writhes, lunging wildly at the spiders. It meets the spirit-webs immediately, and Alison lets out a scream of rage and frustration as Predator dissipates into darkness once more. She pounces forward, gauntlet slamming into the spider nearest her, then lets out a flurry of black shards from the palm of her right hand at point-blank range.

Behind her, she feels something tug at her leg sharply, and twists as she falls on her butt, Predator instinctively whipping out behind her, only to explode into wisps again as it gets tangled in webs. Alison extends her wings, pushing off the ground and heading into the skies while spraying shards in a radius around her to keep spiders away.

So you think you can attack Rina and get away with it?!

Something snaps inside her mind, and the shadows scream around Alison as she immediately swoops back into the mass of spiders, landing with a loud crash, shards firing everywhere, the bulk of her armor swiveling to crush and maul. Predator slips out, striking and stabbing where she can find gaps between the webs.

She feels something hollow in her body, a silent warning that she's running out of energy, but she ruthlessly quashes it.

I am the Princess of Shadows. Die, evil scum!

Ugh. How could her knight be so reckless? Can't she see that she was risking her life for nothing? Knights should be valiant, but they should be valiant in saving innocent people, not... not orcs!

I'll have to scold her later. A good princess must keep her subjects in line!

With a frown, Alison quickly accelerated and swooped down on the spiders and orcs battling.

"Rina! Thanks to you, I have to help these orcs! Why would you risk your life like that?!"

As she snapped at her knight - who might well be demoted to a lower position for this act of recklessness - she raised her hand, sending out a volley of shards at the spiders. Predator curled around her wrist, snapped at her limbs and lunged out, seeking the nearest spider to encircle and crush. She hoped Predator wouldn't get accidentally tangled up in one of those darn webs. That would sure be bad.

The orcs didn't look very friendly idea. She scrunched up her face and tried to keep her back to them as she sent Predator whipping in front of her to stop any spiders from getting too close.
Yeah, I've been busy with other stuff. I'm usually a fairly slow poster in RPs, apologies.
Posting here to register my interest. Can I ask how much focus is gonna be dedicated to the strategy/tactics part of the RP? As in, is it orc brawling or proper military fiction with maps and all?
unlikeable racist girl

A frown crossed Alison's face as she saw the orcs struggling with the spiders. She didn't like the spiders, especially since one of them had attacked her earlier, but orcs were definitely bad. How could they not be? They were ugly, stinky, smelly big fat brutes. Look at what they were wearing! Like savages and cannibals.

Bleh. And that dull blue skin.

She shook her head in disgust, started to fly away, leaving the evil monsters to fight the evil orcs. The Princess would have no part in this battle. Then she saw Rina and Aron, moving towards the spiders. Aron raised a hand, blasted one of the spiders with a ray of cold.

Aww, shucks. Knights have to be valiant, I suppose...

"HEY ARON!" she shouted, turning loops in the sky. "COME BACK! THOSE MONSTERS AREN'T WORTH YOUR TROUBLE! LET THEM KILL EACH OTHER!"
Apologies for the late posts. I'll do an Alison one by tomorrow. Slow and steady, guys.

It's okay now, Sir Libé. The magic woman will take care of you until you're healthy enough to be my Knight again.

Alison paused briefly at the entrance to the shrine, waving a tiny goodbye to him. Then she steps outside, feels the darkness curling around her shoulder blades, guiding her wings through. They fan out as they grow, and shimmer in strange patterns. Alison closes her eyes, prepares her special flying princess power, and takes to the skies.

It's high up here, and the sky is so blue she can hardly see any clouds. Below, sparse forest, and the grassy plains in which they'd fought the spider. Buildings scattered in the distance, and a lone figure walking through the grass towards the buildings.

That must be a village. I bet they're part of my princess kingdom.

She homed in on the man, swooping down to barely two meters above his head and flying in tight circles as she kept up with his much slower pace. "Hey, Emeka! Let's go to the village over there! I bet there's some really cool stuff! You want a ride?"
