I'll hopefully get my character sheet finished today. Wonder if she can save the dog in time. Of course it would be hard to kill all nearby pigs without hitting the dog.
@Doc Doctor Maybe she was hired to defeat whatever menace was on the area but just didn't know the Guinea pigs are the menace, like the rabbit from Monty Python.
Yes. It would absolutely kill the pigs for them to hit another living creature at such speeds. KAMIKAZEEEEEE-
*Cough*
Sorry. But yeah, let's just have them fight. Since you'll be playing a chick, I doubt her first instinct will be fuzzy animal genocide when she sees the little guys multiplying.
She's a tomboy, but she could have a girlish side every now and again to enjoy cute things. It may be fun to instead have a magic girl (not to be confused with magical girl, as she doesn't transform) who's more of the "daaaaaaaw! How adorwable!" baby talk variety. She's actually pretty powerful, more powerful than this arena Evvie. Like high on the mid tier, although her physical body is susceptible to physical attacks the same level as normal humans if you get past her magic, allowing the Guinea pigs to have more options available to them than against Evvie, where there strategy would to be more set in stone thanks to no chance of borrowing through Evvie's durability. Will this new magic user be enough to stop the threat of the Guinea pig invasion? Will she realize the threat in time? Stay tuned to find out!
Abilities: Able to fly at high speed, approximately 130 miles per hour
It killed the doctor by burrowing into his various holes and then broke out, to cause mass chaos.
I wonder how much damage a guinea pig could do hitting someone at that speeds and if it would also kill the guinea pig, which seems likely. I'd imagine it would be like getting hit with a baseball, potentially lethal but not always. If it can burrow into someone, does it have enhanced strength? I know they used pre-existing holes but then they broke out so likely would have enhanced strength at that point.
A while ago I mentioned wanting Evvie to fight them. Her fire breath would be good for eliminating vast swaths of guinea pigs and she could survive guinea pig impacts, but if she got swarmed then they may have a chance. If you think it's too one sided in her favor (highly debatable unless we go with an un-nerfed version), well, comic relief dictates that they would be able to defeat her anyways, or I could come in with another character who has some sort of crowd management magic. Whatever the case the guinea pigs seem op and could win in attrition, having one guinea pig hold back and keep spawning more and more so it doesn't matter how many die in the process. Evvie would run out of breath eventually and then they could jump down her throat or something. That...is actually far less funny than I had originally thought death from a swarm of guinea pigs would be.
Name: Leif Age: 18 Gender: Male Race: Human Appearance: He has silver eyes and shoulder length blonde hair. He has a slender body and facial features with fair looking skin.
Personality: He’s good natured, wanting to do the right thing to a fault. Some might view him as lawful stupid. However, he would follow his heart over the law if the two happen to conflict. He simply views the law, a lot of the time, as just and everyone else troublemakers unless they had good reason for breaking it. He can be seen as someone who sticks his nose into other people’s business too much. He tends to get lost a lot and then randomly getting involved in one issue or another before he can get back to what he was trying to do in the first place.
Abilities
Physical Abilities- Can be considered close to peak human. Later on he becomes more supernatural in physical attributes across the board. However, this often takes second stage to his magical power once he develops it enough. While fighting opponents, it’s easiest to simply view him as about average in relation to them, not standing out against their own physical abilities; able to hold his own but having no real advantage here unless they are known for being weak in a certain area.
Combat Training- He’s skilled with the sword and his abilities, as well as the tactical know how to best use them. Other than that his combat training is lacking.
Powers
His power is described as “Point Generation”. As a broad definition, it’s a point in empty space that he can focus on that begins to shimmer, breaking down any weaker objects that makes contact with it or attracting/repelling objects that are close enough. A more detailed description follows. First listed is for the weakest version of his powers, then changes listed for upgraded versions of said character when he’s had more time to develop. This way you can fight him at various stages of his life when he’s of a certain tier. Unless otherwise stated, things mentioned in his weaker forms carry on up the chain to stronger forms.
The “point” is actually spherical and takes up space of about half the size of a grain of sand. It’s glowing/shimmering with white colored energy with occasional hints of different colors; the glowing portion (which has no effect on anything) taking up as much space as a marble. Once placed it cannot be moved, only dissipating when he looses focus on it or the point is overwhelmed in power by something else. Anything that makes contact with it can likewise be destroyed (utterly disintegrated) if it’s less powerful, although only the exact matter that makes contact with it, so would only leave a tiny hole in one’s hand if they swatted it, for example. The point is able to cut through steel like butter, but due to not moving it’s the object that must cut itself against it. Powerful beings can easily shrug it off, although mere mortals only equipped with modern body armor is not enough to stop it. It doesn’t care about velocity or total mass of the object. A bullet fired at it or dropped on it will have the same effect of a hole being taken out of it as the bullet passes through the point. If similar in power then it may only do slight damage, taking far longer to destroy or be destroyed.
The point can attract or repel objects within half a foot of it if he wills it. At half a foot it’s not enough force to pull someone off their feet but would be as if he was putting moderate power into shoving them one way or the other. If they were as close as they can be without touching it, the force could repel them back as if he full on crashed into them with his entire body weight. Pulling inward on something may still not be powerful enough to tear matter off of objects and suck it in, but it would be incredibly uncomfortable and would definitely be enough to draw surrounding blood into the point. However, he couldn’t retain focus on the point once he looses sight of it within the object, limiting this implication.
To summon the point it requires his focus on a point of space he can see within 20 feet, although he can leave that radius and the point remains once it has been summoned. As he cannot see into objects, he cannot summon a point inside of something. The point takes three seconds to form, and can be canceled simply by stop concentrating on it. He can only focus on three points at once and only if they remain in view. It should be noted that summoning a point requires some of his energy, so he would grow tired from using them at some point in a prolonged battle.
The point can grow in size to a marble, the glow now as large as a baseball. The point can move around at the cost of additional focus, although only at speeds of 5 miles per hour this way. He can summon as many as ten the size of his weakest version or three large ones for the same cost, or somewhere in between of various sizes. Focusing on moving them doesn’t matter what size they are, but he can only move three at a time or else they become super sloppy as if he was drunk. He can create any number of points (that he can focus on at any given time, of course), although still requiring three seconds to complete. He doesn’t need visual confirmation to retain focus on them, but is still unable to summon them inside of objects.
With focus he can have the points safely repel against an object while interacting with it, allowing the object to “touch it” without being harmed. Basically, he can throw a point at speeds of near 100 miles per hour.
Besides these buffs, the points are also more dangerous against higher power objects than before, keeping him competitive with his tier level.
Beware, as his abilities are now overpowered. He can summon multiple points as large as baseballs (over 20 of them, or hundreds of smaller points), send them around at speeds in excess of 50 miles per hour, become far more effective at repelling and attracting than before, can be summoned in half the time, can be summoned within objects, and destroy far more powerful objects than before. Particularly powerful opponents could still dodge him and withstand some blows, as it’s still tough to coordinate so many points against someone and the points are still not all powerful in destroying stuff, but few can outright shrug off his power by this point.
Equipment
Weapon: A typical arming sword. Outfit: His outfit doesn’t provide any strategic advantages over normal street clothes. His exact outfit may be decided on later.
Alrighty then, I'm working on my character sheet for my battle from now until it's done! Wish me luck!
EDIT: One day I will look back on my character names and think, "It's kind of stupid that I took the word Grail, thought it was a good name, and mispelled it as Greyiel to try to be cool", but today is not that day. Him and Soul...I mean "Solle"...cough cough.
EDIT: Greyiel sounds more like an archangel name for some reason. Like the holy grail took the form of a bizarre dragon. I'll come up with some other stupid name for this guy. And also..angelic dragon sounds like a super epic hidden boss fight in an RPG.
EDIT: Oh darn, I'm now planning on doing a drawing every day for the year. This...should be interesting. Of course I'll finally be able to draw all my characters now!
EDIT: Just realized an implication of my guy's power where he can drain the blood out of someone. Creepy.
EDIT: @JaceBeleren Here's my character, if you were still interested: Leif
The stupid quirk to his name is it's kind of like life. I love his abilities and he could level with Evvie on my fun to play with if he develops properly.
I'd like to take part in an arena battle, though it would be my first time. I already have a character. T1 moderate powers, characters suitable to a medieval fantasy setting.
I'm interested. I need to cook up a few more characters that I could use.
Okay, I really, really outdid myself this time, staying up all hours of the night to create a map using photoshop. All so I could practice for when I want to create a map for the fantasy setting I'm developing. I think I have a problem. Well anyways...
