Everyone Loves It.

I want to do a sword-art Online RP suuuper bad! But the idea I have is way after the fact of the original scenario. You know, how all immersive MMO's were linked? Each of us could be from a game, or two people from the same game. Alfheim, SAO, and a few others we've made up individually. The plot would be a Virus that takes shape of an enormous data-eating dungeon. The dangers of the virus would be leaving someone in a coma (unless we want to take a different route). Once a game is taken over completely, the virus-dungeon appears in a new MMO. No one has been able to beat the dungeon and entire worlds are lost before a group even turns brave enough to enter

Alfheim Races (refresher)

Alfheim Race Options Name - Description Cait Sith - Cat Fairy (monster taming fairy) Living toward the west of the World Tree, Cait Siths are skilled beast tamers with the best eyesight[3] and high speed.[4] They are recognizable through their cat ears and tails. Gnome- Earth Fairy Inhabitants of the Frost Areas of the North, the brown-styled Gnomes are the largest of the fairy races and specialize in Earth Magic. Imp Dark Fairy Living in the Alphine Areas of the Southeast, the purple-styled Imps are the masters of night and are blessed with great night vision. Leprechaun Blacksmithing Fairy Living at the Frost Areas of the North, Leprechauns are the blacksmith race and are blessed with mechanical wings. Pooka Music Fairy The Pookas from the Northwest specialize in using music in combat to confuse and attack opponents and support allies. Salamander Fire Fairy Inhabitants of the Desert Area of the South, the red-styled Salamanders are considered the strongest race in terms of attack power and are masters of Fire Magic. Spriggan Illusionist Fairy From the Ancient Runes Area of the Northeast, the black-styled Spriggans are masters of Illusion Magic and excel in treasure seeking. Sylph Wind Fairy From the Grassland Area of the Southwest, the green-styled Sylphs are considered to be the fastest race and are masters of Wind Magic. Undine Water Fairy From the Wetland Area of the East, the blue-styled Undines are masters of Healing and Water Magic. Alfs - The rumored Alfs are the legendary race blessed by the Fairy King Oberon with unlimited flight. It is believed that the first of the available starting races to reach the top of the World Tree and gain an audience with the Fairy King would be elevated to this special race, but it was revealed to be false.

Der Monde

Basic idea: Name - BE THE GREATEST ORIGINAL CHARACTER :D( think The World i.e. dothack / / ) - one character out of all can have a special race, e.g. bunny rabbit, what have you, of any shape/form, different from all other human Der Monde players Classes Heavyblade - greatsword Rogue - two blades Polearm - javelin Daoist - hooked-swords Fencer - epee/foil Archer/Gunner - bow&arrows/long ranged open to suggestions Magnus- i.e. black-mage Phage - i.e. white-mage Summoner- i.e. unaspected/nonelemental-mage and summoner What makes it unique Each class comes with different magical stats, giving each character a very unique build in their character. As such, no two characters have the exact same skillset. Each character learns different skills and spells based on the stats they level up as they move through Der Monde. After each character levels, they are given the option to press for a new skills or to wait until the next level up. Often, characters will save up their rolled-over skill choices to make a stronger build in the longer run. Stats for example Stats characters choose from when leveling (purely for example): We won't focus on stat building really, just to give an idea of the world. In Der Monde, each character plays a character whether an adventurer or merchant. Each territory is vast and dotted with dungeons. Never ending quest lines that boost and create new stats for characters are constantly evolving. Some characters rest high in virtual empires while others cross the land with friends. Others seek to unlock hidden skills to monopolize economies or share the wealth and information. What else? All characters are magical but not all are skilled physical fighters and the game is built so character creation in a symmetrical sense is impossible. Characters from this game often have appearances that are altered by their skillsets.

As far as those three realms are concerned, here's your Realm "character sheet" so to speak, however, you may be part of anyone else's realm too.

Realm Skeleton

Name: plain and simple What Makes it Unique: ( e.g. everyone can fly, stats are handed out at random and are entirely unique based off of skills, no magic, etc.) Races: (if applicable) Fighting: (magic yes/no? sword fighting yes/no? etc., preferably keep shy from too futuristic though it's not entirely discouraged Stats: (if relevant) World Info: (if relevant, I imagine most will have entirely unique areas but we'll flesh those out as needed)

IRL Name: (first/last) In-Game Name: (first only) IRL Age: (simple) Game-Age: (age your character looks and/or acts in-game) IRL Location: City, State/Territory, Country In-Game World: (Der Monde, Alfheim Online, etc.) Passive Skills: Extra Vitality, magic affinity, etc. Flying, dual wielding, etc. Active Skills: Skills used during or outside of battle Elemental, healing, summoning magic, Sword attacks, chain attacks, Stances or magic/skill fusions, really, just go nuts, but don't god mod Character Description: Picture and/or written descriptions okay. At minimum one paragraph if you solely write the description of your character IRL History: Brief history of your character's home life. In-Game History: How are they known in the game? Are they a PKer or are they a benevolent healer?

Battle in a Desert: Letting Loose

Plain and simple battle in an endless desert. One - Two rolling characters per player. Not turn based, but playability based. That means, you control your character unless decided otherwise. If you have a large, area-of-effect skill, make sure it's very clear 1 post ahead of time in bold lettering at the top and bottom. We're not oblivious to each other, but you'll see what I mean. Any character can be any race With any skills No god modding Be literate, at least the best you can. Make sure your movements are clear The battle will start with two people fighting first, A third and fourth will enter and they will battle. Odd amount characters just make it more interesting. In order to make it fair between guns and swords or magic and swords; please have both close range and long ranged skills if you can. If someone can't accommodate to meet a certain expectation, I'll do it myself.

It Starts in a Desert

Looking down, he saw a bold black line just to one side. Raising to his left were powerful, rolling dunes. To his east, he thought, was an endless horizon dotted with cacti and a single plateau off to the north. The world around him clicked and crawled in the tiny shadows of rocks and dying plants. His wings clicked together and he curled his tongue in his mouth and a loud beetle grinding emitted from his horns. A large gong went off and a psychic noise rang out through his head. Slay the first you see and kill or be killed. After all, your world is at my whim. A dark voice sang, trailing off in laughter. For a moment, only a moment, the world shifted into a thunderous realm with trees standing high. Branches broke around him, heavy water drops splattered his face and fire rained from the sky. Bolts of lightning crackled ahead of him and a large branch fell through the wind. Just as it struck his face, he was in the desert again. Hot wind beating against his face again. He curled his fingers through his hair and saw a creature coming across the final curl of the dunes.

Mind you, requirements to join are little.

Character Sheet

Character Sheet Characters should be original. If it stems from something, don't mention it Name: First, last, if they have both. Title, if any. Age: Age appearance, if applicable Physical Description: I prefer descriptions in the IC, but if you have certain things you'd like to mention here, you can. If your character shape-shifts, for example. Race: Human, Elf, Robot, Fairy, etc. Race Description: Don't tell us all of your strengths and weaknesses Mostly for the obscure types Weapons/accessory weapons: Don't tell us all of your strengths and weaknesses Swords, Staffs, Books, Guns, Crystals, Bombs etc. Be sure to add in a hint of what they can do if they're obscure. Abilities: Don't tell us all of your strengths and weaknesses Magic, kung fu, sword skills, etc. Don't need to go into too much description. Just a few lines or two. How you were transported: Last few seconds your character remembers before being teleported. Upon arriving in the desert, something will be held over your characters head; a loved one, place, or what have you. Put that here. It will be transmitted as a vivid, psychic message.

HP RP?

I would like to do a Harry Potter RP but I'm afraid of the same thing; that it won't get anywhere. But~ I could help with creating the world if you need someone to work with you cooperatively. I'm great at world-building! I think the reason a lot of these RP's die is because they're not entirely original. Here's a few ideas I have with a Harry Potter RP: Plot; - evil wizard, enough said, makes weird things happen and people die at the school Not in Hogwarts, which is based out of England/UK; how about somewhere else in the world? Even though it will primarily used to start with, the grounds themselves can be incredibly different. - Netherlands - France - Germany - Switzerland - Italy - Brazil - New-Age school of Wizardry in the USA After school things in order to give the RP flavor overall, even if they're not used directly, their places can be; - Magic Art, Dancing, etc. rooms - 1x1 Fighting and various places to train, + things to train with; giant stone armor, wild / enchanted plants Cast of characters, even if some are rarely used - not simply replacements of original HP characters, but new characters just as complex Mess it up and throw in a few races that are likely to be in a fantasy world, I would probably shy away from frequent Vampires though. And all player's main characters as humans (or very close to it) attending the school.
