Which organ is it that makes cats so flexible? And can it be removed? I'm starting to have nightmares.

Bio

I prefer to write in the first person when not writing about/from a character, I am sorry if this may make me seem a bit obnoxious at times. So this is my bio, which means you are interested in finding out who or what Jyoliod is, even if it's just a fleeting moment of pure curiosity, or something to pass the time in-between posts. Either way, I shall indulge you, while also throwing my ego out there for the world of RPGuild to observe.

Jyoliod is, or rather, I am, a character on the stage of RPGuild playing the puppet master of (soon to be)various characters, eccentric, gloomy, thoughtful, harsh, annoying, these are all attributes I may throw into posts depending on the author's state of mind, yet I hope to hold a solid presence of familiarity that I can share with all of you. My goal is ultimately to enjoy my time while not disturbing the comfort of others here in the guild, in the guild I'm not only looking for various RP's to enjoy and craft, but also friends and discussions to partake in. Though, in this manner I can be quite submissive and enclosed, I'm not much of an extrovert so bare with me if you will.

I am always happy to have a discussion and I really enjoy learning new things, so if you're bored enough to have read this far, throw a topic at me in a PM and see where it goes. But enough of that, I'll throw out some more substantive stuff in regards to my RP out-look.

The Genre I like:
Horror
Fantasy/High-Fantasy
Action
Heavy Magic Emphasis
Science/Technology Emphasis
Modern
Slice of Life
Apocalyptic/Post-Apocalyptic

The Genre I'd like to try:
Diplomatic Emphasis
Sci-Fi
Mystery
Family

The Genre I tend to avoid:
Fandom

RP Style:
1x1
Casual/High-Casual
Advanced
Arena

I like:
An emphasis on detail, I have a structure complex and find it easier to post when a RP is well defined. However, I'd gladly jump into a free-for-all sandbox type RP just to let loose from time to time, but never as something I plan to or hope to do long-term. I like character development and creating personal quarrels to over-come as a character. I especially enjoy the idea of long-term RP's where the character not only develops mentally but also physically.

Gore is also something I enjoy incorporating into my posts, though I only use it in the proper context. It's an easy thing to detail but also has a lot of room to work with, you have so many areas you can choose to detail and such a post, pulled off correctly can easily contribute, quite powerfully, to the current atmosphere of the RP.

Other Stuff:
I am dyslexic, meaning when I read and write, words and letters can often be switched around or substituted for completely different words or letters. This is an issue I try to stay on top of , but if you go through a post and find the structure of words or letters to be mixed up, I'd be grateful if you informed me of this. I make it a habit to re-read my posts three or four times to combat this.

It was fifteen to two when Heon left the Library, his backpack hung over one shoulder weighed down by the tomes he had hired out. Looking at his watch he decided to head to school. 'Jonathan sure had an odd way about doing things.' Heonhime thought to himself as he marched towards his destination. But the location made sense, it was familiar to all involved and the fence surrounding the oval and gym had a section to it that was broken.

As he walked Hoen's mind filled with thoughts regarding the parchment, he wondered if they're really find out anything if they brought all of them together, nothing about Hoenhime's parchment seemed to indicate that that'd be the case. "Ahh well, no use in trying I guess." Hoen huffed throwing his hands behind his head and looking up to the sky as he walked. It was quite a nice day, or say Heonhime thought anyway; overcast and windy yet not a hint of rain, though this type of weather had a tendency to change quickly.

Coming into view of the school entrance, Hoen noticed a young girl seated with her eyes glued to a handheld console. Shifting closer he peered at her for a moment, she looked familiar some how and that bothered Hoenhime. "Are you one of Jonathan's peons?" Hoen asked abruptly raising an eye brow. He couldn't think of any other reason why'd someone her age would be here. "Got one of these right?" Hoen probed further as he rummaged through his backpack and pulled out a piece of square parchment with a glyph printed on it.
White Sparrows in my ass.

Love Her in my ass.
I don't mind the dicussion, it is very interesting. Though I find myself hard pressed to add anything further without it being a digression. I agree with what you are saying to the extent that I can as a layperson, especially in regards to the idea of Nationalism.

Additionally, don't fret over late posts! I wont be able to get one out myself till tomorrow, take as much time as you need.
I've Got you Under my Skin in my ass.

Here it Comes Again in my ass.
"A great Jaggie?" Leigh mused to himself. The idea seemed a bit reckless, but there were two of them after all, and if things got bad they could always leg it. Hearing Ren introduce himself put Leigh at ease a little, he was going to start calling Ren 'Guy', Leigh returned Ren's handshake firmly before moving on.

"Naah, take them. I stocked up on med supplies before I left." Leigh stated. Picking some of the remaining items for himself from the chest, Leigh stretched his legs and arms as Ren pointed in the direction of their destination. Leigh eyed Ren cautiously, he wasn't yet aware of his new partners capabilities, but the reverse was true too.

Marching through the open fields Leigh found himself checking his map often, the Ancestral Steppe was more amazing and vibrant than he had first thought. The duo had reached the field marked '2' on their map when they were encountered by some Melynx, thinking them to be simple Felyne Leigh excitedly waved to the creatures, hoping to get some clues as to the Jaggies recent happenings.

Leigh's response was a swift charge as the Melynx rushed at the Hunter, two of them went for Leigh while a third charged after Ren. Unprepared for the attack, Leigh took a heavy hit from a Melynx, knocking the young hunter onto his butt. "What the... THAT BASTARD STOLE MY POTIONS!" Leigh shouted in anger as he picked himself up. Leigh drew his mighty Lance with two hands as the other Melynx charged him. Swinging his mighty iron spike horizontally, Leigh slammed the on coming Melynx, sending the creature whimpering off to his right. Drawing his shield, Leigh took his charging stance and raced after the fleeing Melynx that had stolen his potions.
Leigh let out a hearty laugh as the scene unfolded before him. Quickly moving to his partner side to give him a hand, Leigh couldn't help but take note of some of the items. Leigh corrected the alignment of the quest paper before speaking loudly. "It says to clear out a large number of Jaggie in the Ancestral Steppe, roughly twenty in number. That means you're the guy I've been waiting for, I'm Leigh Vile!" Leigh stated loudly with a smile.

Usually he'd be a bit annoyed at a partners incompetence, but he was too excited to get the quest under way and finally start his career as a proper hunter, the realisation had served to suppress his usually calm nature. "Couldn't help but notice you didn't have any potions, well if you're feeling weak give me a shout! I've got quite a few." Leigh spoke after helping his yet to be named partner pack their backpack up.

Eagerly Leigh marched over to the blue supply chest next to the base camp tent. Kicking it open he said, "I was told we could open this baby up when we both had arrived." Sifting through the goodies Leigh got his hands on two maps, handing one to his partner he unrolled the parchment and looked at the overview of the Ancestral Steppe. "Where do you think we should start?" Leigh asked optimistically.
Leigh waited at the base camp for his partner that was assigned by the guild, he'd taken up his first proper quest from the Guild to hunt a pack of Jaggie when he was told that he'd be assigned a partner to help with the quest. Originally the news had disappointed Leigh, who was eager to show what he could do, but as he dwelled on the thought he came to trust the guilds judgement. He didn't want to end up as another newbie hunter turning into Jaggie food after all.

With his large iron lance at rest on his back, the young Hunter checked over his old and warn gear to ensure there weren't any obvious imperfections in his defence. Satisfied he turned to his surroundings, the Ancestrial Steppe base camp was quite lavish in terms of scenery. A beautiful waterfall nestled near by with plenty of fish, useful shrubbery could no doubt be found near by as the soil vegetation was rich and lively. In the distance Leigh could see a pack of Aptonoth grazing in between frequent checks of their surrounding.

Okay, What I'm thinking is that we start off with a simple hunting mission, we're tasked with killing roughly 20 Jaggie in the Ancestral Steppe. I'll write that we've been teamed up because there are a lot more Jaggie than usual and we're both newbie hunters.

What do you think? If you don't have a problem, I'll write up a post in the IC setting everything up for us!
Heon's morning started on routine, Wayne had returned sometime in the night and was snoring in his room while Marcus sat at the dining table with a stupid grin as he glaring at his smartphone. The smell of fresh bacon and eggs tantalised Heonhime's taste buds as Marie cooked up his morning meal while humming an unfamiliar tune. Sitting at the large dark wood dining table, Hoen resting his cheek on one hand while he peered into the world outside the window. As Marie laid out Heon's breakfast before him he paid her no mind as he started to eat. He felt so far away from that world outside as he picked at his expensive thick slices of bacon with finely crafted silverware.

"Hey peasant, what is that dumb look for?" Marcus said with his mouth full of bread and bacon.

"Dumb look? Are you sure you're not projecting again Marcus?" Hoen offered back quickly.

"We're too far apart in prestige little brother, I'd never make such a mistake." Marcus huffed with a grin.

"I guess it would be hard to project when you're already so far up your own arse."

"Cut the pissing contest!" Marie shouted from the kitchen not far away. With her command Marcus shrugged his plump figure before glaring back at his smartphone once more while Hoenhime went back to eating.

With the morning pleasantries cut short by Marie, Hoen finished his meal before shifting to the third floor bathroom to clean up and prepare himself for the day. He pondered on his commitment to meet up with Jonathan at 2PM, though you could hardly call it a commitment, Hoen reasoned any excuse to stay out of the house was a good one. Shifting to his bed room Hoen eyed the rolled up parchment that sat on his desk, he'd contemplated throwing it away on more than one occasion and yet there it sat. Although he'd never admit it to his face, Jonathan was right, the parchment held an odd aura of curiosity that Hoenhime wouldn't mind getting cleared up.

It was 10:30AM by the time Hoen left the house, luckily for him Wayne was still asleep and besides a few snide remarks, Marcus remained primarily glued to his smartphone. Wearing an expensive long sleeved, black silk shirt and pants, Hoenhime made his way towards the school, intending to stop by the local library on his way.
I don't think you are over reacting at all, though I could understand the sentiment that others might think you're getting worked up a bit, you've used some very affirmative language, but I assume that is only because of how strong your conviction is in this regard. I must admit, at first I was adverse to the term plutocracy being used in this case, but that was merely because of my own perception from here in Australia, when trying to look at things from the American perspective, I could understand fully what you mean. There is no doubt that American education seems to be becoming a plutocracy of it's own kind.

I would not be so bold as to say I entirely agree with you, this is a subject I've only engaged mildly and so I feel I am not in a position to judge on the broader scope you have addressed. But I can relate to a lot of what has been said, I hope that there has been some move in America to change these things or at least a descenting voice has been made public. Though in saying that, I've found a few things in America to be very odd from a perception stand of view primarily how the American public react to certain incentives and benefits from the government, so it could be that the general American populace is able to work in a system where education is slowly becoming a plutocracy and only a minority others in America feel isn't worth warranting is adversely affected.

Personally I cannot help but have to cope with what ever happens in Australia as I am currently in the education system and to excuse myself due to ideological reasons would only hurt my current situation, but my convictions will just drive me to move to a country I feel is better suited for my family when the day comes for me to start that road. I understand that something that hurts one part of society usually means another part is benefiting in some way, whether that be weapons manufacturing companies are earning money they don't need at the cost of affordable education and a proper pension for the elderly, or Australian citizens having to pay a little more due to a carbon tax so we can finally enforce a sliver of responsibility onto our mining companies. Regardless of the out come there is always a driving force behind these decisions and in the battle of convictions in regards to politics the loudest always wins. Though I assume corruption in American politics warps such a process quite considerably.

Regardless, I find abandoning sentiments of loyalty to any one government can be reassuring, I find many others disagree with me in this regard, but ultimately I'm not going to pledge myself as a loyal citizen to a country who's values do not represent my own where I feel is important. That said, I also don't believe that excuses me from participating in the affairs of the government of said country, I hear almost verbatim; "If you aren't a loyal Aussie, then you have no right to interfere."; I've seen similar rhetoric from American's too, I think these behaviours belie a much deeper manipulation, but I digress.

There is a lot we could do to make a difference, but once you take into account measures of effectiveness and realism, the scope is narrowed to possibilities so far fetched even conviction does not sustain clear justification to these actions, though that is subjective. I guess it also depends on what you perceive to be the under lying reason for all of this.

Anyway, I'm working on my IC post so that should be up soon!
