Afterimage:Appearing as something akin to a cryptid from the West, Fubuki's Afterimage brings a chill to those who witness it. It stands much larger than Fubuki at 6'8" and was supposed to be a Deer-based Afterimage but Fubuki's violent nature has warped it into a carnivore with large fangs and long claws. The Afterimage is adorned in ice that melts away as Fubuki expends his Soule Energy, revealing a rotting, injured body underneath. The cold it exudes gives off a slight fog, and makes his breath visible.
Mirror Artes
- Predation: Targets a single enemy and marks them with a small icicle growing on their shoulder or closest facsimile to one. Fubuki's Mirror Artes are more effective against his chosen prey.
- Chilling Howl: Those who hear the howl become fearful of Fubuki, weakening their attacks against him specifically. If his chosen prey hears and is objectively weaker than him, they may become frozen in place out of fear. The strength of this ability varies from no effect to complete damage nullification (Though unlikely until he gets much stronger) based on the enemies base power relative Fubuki, the strength of their willpower, any innate resistances to fear effects, and if they are his chosen prey or not.
- Shatter: Channels a large amount of Cold Soule Energy into an all-or-nothing melee attack. Hit or Miss, Artes can no longer be used until Fubuki rests. This leaves him with only his basic bites, claws, and kicks to defend himself.
Practical Skills:
- Street Fighting: Fubuki has gotten into a number of scraps over the years lending him an intuitive fighting style.
- Computer Science: Majoring in Computer Analytics, Fubuki understands the basic ins and outs of software engineering and Statistics.
- Intimidation: While trying to avoid utilizing his strength against others, when annoyed or harassed Fubuki has a way of quieting a room with a cold gaze.
- Dance: The one thing he shared with his mother before she left, he keeps up this talent for a reason he can't remember anymore. It has however made him quite skilled with his legs and feet, adding to his Street Fighting with dangerous kicks.
- Stillness: Fubuki has a habit of staying completely motionless when not actively walking, leading others to not notice him if he picks a place where he won't stand out.
- Cold Tolerance: When he roamed the streets of his local neighborhoods, his father's poverty gave him not much choice in weather-protective clothing. So, Fubuki has become accustomed to being out in the cold with little to wear.

Appearance
Fubuki stands at 5'8" with a bit of a sleeper build due to his high-intensity workout routine coupled with his preference towards baggy clothes since they need to be replaced less often. He wears cheap, general brand clothing with a preference towards darker colors. His t-shirts often have stitches on the seams, and his jeans have patches to cover holes, although his casual wear jeans are left with holes for both money-saving and aesthetic. The collar is something he wears as he finds himself feeling uncomfortable without something around his neck. Fubuki has piercings in his left ear only that he got while a member of a streetgang in his youth so that he could be recognized as a member from a distance, and since they've gotten him some interest from potential flings, he keeps them. His hair is dark and long, going halfway down his back. Fubuki believes this will help him stay out of fights since it's an easily targetable weakspot. He has a few scars on his arms and sides from his fighting in the past when his opponent would start using nails, or teeth, or a knife.
Personality
Fubuki fears himself. He is well aware of his past, and the violent tendencies and angry trauma-responses it has given him and so he views himself as a predator amongst prey. He avoids others out of a desire to avoid hurting innocent people, but this has extended to him not fighting awful people that he sees harassing others either. When he himself is harassed or persistently annoyed, Fubuki answers with silent intimidation and then vocal, and then finally allows himself to strike. To say he's distant though would be incorrect, as he does nothing to try and scare people away but he doesn't know how to interact with what he used to consider the "lucky ones" who didn't have to go through the hardships he did. Thus, he tends to keep things simple and to the point to avoid causing offense to others. There are times when he desires companionship however, and finds himself using tinder to get it since sex is something he understands.
Background
Growing up in abject poverty, Fubuki never really cared for the finer things in life. His father, however, desired it all and would gamble away any money the man or his wife would make in the hopes of acquiring more. Eventually, the father had debts he couldn't pay back and was hounded for cash by the gambling halls and the gangs that ran them. Eventually, the gangs had enough and sent a message by threatening his wife. Fubuki's mother had had enough, and fled to get away from these sufferings leaving the father to take out loans to pay off the gambling debts and then more loans to gamble more to try and pay back his loans. By that time, Fubuki had turned 12 and knew that he would struggle to get into high school with these problems following him. Thus, he joined the street gang known as the Forest Howlers and his tendency to jump kick larger opponents and use walls for extra height earned him the nickname "Shika" or Deer. When he turned 14 and joined high school, he needed money for uniforms and textbooks and everything else, so he also become a loan collector for the men his father owed. Both so he could earn extra money for school and to keep them off his father's back while he worked to pay off the loans. This past got him into a number of fights, and he was good at it. There were moments where he considered doing it full-time and dropping out of school, but then one day he beat a boy from a rival gang within an inch of his life and hospitalized him. The realization that he could kill someone scared him, and he worked even harder to get into college because then his father's social and financial standing wouldn't hinder him any further and he could leave his life of violence behind. Of course, it's never that simple. His first year of college someone who knew of his reputation decided to constantly goad him and was encouraged by Fubuki's lack of response. Eventually, Fubuki gave him what he wanted, earning himself a probation period and community service that only recently ended as he goes into his third year. Both fortunately and unfortunately, his act got around and people rarely approach him anymore for fear of receiving the same thrashing.

Theme SongExtra Information- Fubuki has trauma-blocked a childhood memory. After being threatened, his mother didn't just abandon him and leave. She was shot to death and Fubuki found the body.
- Despite not being the best student grades-wise, Fubuki tries his best and has never received an F. Although he's never received an A after his first semester either.
