You totally should play the Pokemon games sometime if you can, it's worth it, they're amazing and only get better and better. =)

Name: Lesley Drakken*
Appearance: An owl faced girl with curly blonde hair and blue eyes, a little on the chubby, stocky side due to being a big eater. Is very, VERY nearsighted and wears square framed glasses.
Height: 4'8"
Weight: 120 lbs

Personality: Shy and bookish, but starting to come out of her shell with age. Tries to be kind and helpful but can also be lazy, laid back to a fault. She likes her creature comforts not having them may very well be the worst part of going on a Pokemon journey. Aside from being a great trainer, she's also interested in breeding Pokemon and learning the best way of raising them to be the best they can be, meaning her focus will be less on catching all the Pokemon she can and more on training the ones she does have to be strong.

Bio (Optional): Has a normal home life with a loving mom and dad, but also doesn't have many friends and feels shunned by other people her age due to being 'nerdy'. Her parents sent her on a Pokemon journey with the hopes that she would achieve personal growth.

Other: *Self insertion usually isn't my thing, but the only established Pokemon OC I have doesn't fit in this RP, so here you go. =)

Current Level: 5

Attacks: Scratch, Leer

Pokemon Nickname: CJ
Ha, the pizza delivery one is a golden oldie, too. They don't make 'em like they used to.
Aww, you guys beat me to the Spongebob punchline... Oh well, there's still this, from the same episode! Quite possibly my favorite moment of any episode, ever.
How many characters are we allowed? I'm only asking because I have two that would be perfect for this, and while I can play them separately they're also really interesting together. They're sort of pals and their stories go right along with each others.

Also, what is the fate of the Jews in this timeline/is there any possibility of having a Jewish character? (Need to know this because one of my characters is a concentration camp survivor. I know that's a bit of a touch and go issue, but I've spent a lot of time practicing to make sure I can play him right, so I'm hoping that's acceptable. I also understand if its not and would be happy to play my American character by himself.)
Preston furrowed his eyebrows, then made a 'meh' hand motion. "About two and a half days, I think, but it's hard to keep track of time in a place like this. I don't understand, I've flown my plane over this part of the mountains before, but this is the first time I've ever noticed a village. Just my luck that there's no cellphone reception out here, or I would have had Marty come and pick me up already.,,"

He stopped, suddenly realizing that he probably sounded like an alien to this person. "Sorry, I guess I got carried away there." He smiled and scratched the back of his head.
Much, MUCH later, back in the classroom, Conner yawned and tapped a pencil to the side of his head. It was only the first day of school and already he'd been in and out of several crazy situations. The classroom seemed rather boring in comparison, he thought, as he doodled a picture of his dog from home on a scrap piece of paper next to him. He probably wasn't the best drawer in the world, but doing so helped him to focus. He paused in his drawing when someone put a form down in front of him:

Name: Conner Reinsberg
Age: 18
Section: A
Clubs: Home economics

Next to 'Home economics' he made a little scribble of a kitty face, before handing it back to the teacher's assistant.
Conner gave the girls who had just entered a look pity for having stumbled upon the strange scene, but then looked back at the other group. "I'm Conner, but you can call me Heron if you want. So uh..." He looked around, confused. "If this is the principal's office, and people are being called down here, then where is the principal. In fact, where's anybody?" A shiver went down his spine. "Creepy."
Conner shook his head as he walked down the stairs. He didn't know if he'd be able to catch up with the boy, but he might as well try to figure out what was going on so he could rectify it. He headed down the same direction, looking around a bit nervously; what had that kid spooked so badly? Just when he thought that the kid was completely out of sight, he heard yelling and screaming coming from a room down the hall. The principal's office, of all things. Well, this just kept getting weirder. At least he knew where that was now, though. He hesitated a bit. Was the principal already in there, giving someone a loud lecture on the first day of school? Was there some kind of ghost or monster behind the door that the kid had been running from?

Oh well. He opened the door.

No principal, but three kids instead, all caught up in some kind of tug a war. One boy was passed out in the principal's chair- that was the one who had ran away from him earlier- and another was shaking him vigorously, while yet another, a girl, was desperately trying to stop him from doing so. His eyes got wide for a moment as he thought about what to do, but this was his element, even if he still wasn't entirely sure what the situation was, it didn't look like anything good.

"Hey!" He barked, in true big brother style. "Cut it out!"

It was the loudest thing he'd said all day.
Conner had realized he had some time before class actually started, so he'd decided to go walking around the school to get familiar with the layout. Soon, he was walking around the back part of the school with his hands in his pockets, whistling a videogame song he'd picked up from somewhere. He had to admit he was kind of bored, usually his days where a lot busier then this; by this point in the day he'd finally settled down after getting all of the other kids ready for school and then he got to read or something for maybe a half an hour before he had to make lunch. He looked around and noticed this part of the school was still dimly lit, as if they weren't expecting anyone to be back here yet. It was more then a little bit creepy.

I'm not unsure, not quite certain though, where these problems came from...

As he walked down a stair case he noticed that another student was there in the hall, and jumped a little bit. He hadn't been expecting that. There was a loud scritch of his shoes on the linoleum floor as he nearly lost his balance and fell down. Just as he was about to say something, the other student suddenly became very frightened and took off down the hall out of sight, with a harsh squeal that echoed through the entire half of the school. Conner just stood there in the middle of the staircase, stunned.

"What the hell?"
"Huh."

As the announcements began, Conner walked to the back of the room and leaned against the wall with his hands behind his head. The principle made a short speech before showing pictures of the various rooms throughout the school. He was immediately delighted and yet somewhat let down by the idea of having to cook his own breakfast- on one hand, he would be doing something he did all the time- but he would finally be able to cook for himself alone, and maybe exercise a little creativity for once, instead of always getting stuck making egg sandwiches for his picky little brother Sheridan. On the other hand, he would be doing something he did all the time. Oh well, it wasn't like waffling about it was going to change anything.

He yawned. Something about a fireworks show? That would be pleasant, he just needed to stay awake long enough to see it, and the dim lights where making him sleepy. When the assembly was over, he was jolted awake by the lights being turned back on. He shook his head. What was it they where supposed to be doing next, going to their classrooms? That seemed to make the most sense over anything else. Rubbing his eyes, he began to walk toward the exit and to where the classrooms where.
