I'd think a professional would be a better place to voice your problems and vent for positive reactions, rather than the status bar of an RP forum. But that's just me.

[@neurovoid] That article looks incredibly biased for one agenda. There are various articles that list differences in neural wiring and anatomy. Not to mention hormones from gender-specific organs

Since character registrations were quietly opened again, here's to the first new character xD

it's time for a gift!

Cyrus followed Calvin to the side, nodding as he talked. ”Don’t see it as if you’re being forced to stick to us, see it as a chance for a breakfast made by our fellow infinites. I am actually quite interested in Mason’s coffee.” He responded before handing the ingot. ”I don’t entirely disagree, hence why I don’t suggest blind trust. Trust and cooperation must be tampered with caution and time, but we can’t go around suspecting each other at every move, we’ll go paranoid.” He was sure Calvin didn’t really dislike the rest, and it was quite natural to be on edge. He had to admit the… calmth some of the others were showing had him slightly worried as well. A blindly trusting victim is, indeed, an easy victim.

He showed the smith a charismatic grin as he could see how happy he was with his present. Though he was somewhat surprised by his sudden hug.”I don’t know more about metals than the basics, the economical matters and stuff.” He replied. ”But I am happy I convinced you in my ability to give a rare ingot to a metalworker.” He chuckled a little. ”It’s good to see you like it.”

He nodded in agreement to Shona and Calvin for a drink. ”It’s good to meet you as well. The name is Cyrus Brandon.” He said and accepted his hand. Then, he too joined Shona.

He listened diligently with drink in hand as he listened to Shona’s story. ”Well, if we’re sharing our infinity initiative stories… Cyrus said, rubbing his chin a little as he formulated his story. ”I think I was fifteen maybe? I was working as an advisor with a group that tried restore the government of the states, shortly after the tragedy…” He started. ”We were doing rather well, and I used the policy plan and experience from there to publish a paper on post-apocalyptic policy processes. It’s one of the papers that is currently used as a guideline for the reformation of governments and governmental institutes.” He then smirked. ”My scout sought me out based on the name and address in that paper… let’s say I never saw someone’s jaw drop so quickly as him when he learned of my age.”

After his story was finished, he announced that he would like to join the exploration as well, just in time for Mondatta to walk in. ”I think I will join you to the first floor, there is a place I want to check out there. He told the monk and joined him upstairs. Instead of the study, however, Cyrus stopped at the mono stands that they had previously passed by on their way to the theater. He had a feeling the coin Monokuma had given him would work on these slot machines. Cyrus picked one of the coin machines and put the coin In it, interested In what would come out.
I kind of took a weekend off xD I will post sometime this week.

Surprisingly, the infinite politician had decided to stay out of matters. After he had entered the break room with the knight, he grabbed breakfast and quietly ate. Interjecting in this debate seemed nonsensical. Cyrus would rather just wait it out and size everyone up. The best way to win over your audience was by knowing your audience, and that was exactly what he was doing right now. He took a mental note of everyone’s behaviour.

He was certain that he was going to get along with the peacemaker that what Mondatta. Cyrus didn’t agree with everything, but he thought he had a good general gist of things. Mason and Ice stood out, and both had good ideas in their own right. The metalworker was a bit of a cynic, and would likely end up antagonizing him a good bit he’d reckon. On the other hand, he had a hard time taking Krista and Felix seriously as the violinist cracked her pun. Lastly, he could appreciate Kara’s brave front with words that carried merit of their own.

Perhaps Cyrus was more at ease because he knew a little about the killing games. There was one important thing these games all had in common. When the gig was up, they all committed suicide. This means there was a way for these games to fail, and there was no reason why this one couldn’t be different. It wouldn’t be easy, and he doubted they would all survive… But there had to be a way out of here that did not involve killing each other. Maybe he should discuss with Shona if this was perhaps information in the need of sharing.

Cyrus put down his utensils as the infinite monk addressed him. He nodded and stood up from his place and walked towards the middle of the room, joining Kara and Mondatta. He offered the young girl a friendly smile. ”Well spoken.” He then directed his attention at the rest of the crowd. Though some had already left, he figured throwing his own words into the mix might add some value now.

”Meetings will commence after the morning announcement. And I would like to implore the culinary talented to aid making the start of our days an enjoyable one.” He looked at Kara and Mason as he said this. ”Our situation is precarious, and therefore I must agree with the idea that trust and cooperation will bring us further. However, I believe doubt will be healthy to our survival as well, just do not distrust. A doubtful man watches his back, a distrustful one does things he regrets…” He paused for a little, hoping this message would sink in. ”Trust, doubt, do not distrust. Let us now work together to find a solution to our predicament that is most beneficial to all of us. That is all. While his words had not brought any new ideas. He figured the ones they had right now would suffice. He would rather use his time to inspire hope, and create a mindset that may aid in the survival of at least one person.

After his short speech, he approached Calvin and held out the orichalcum ingot towards him. ”I think this one was meant for you. I give it to you with the same message, though whether or not you decide to take it to heart is up to you.”

@AimeChambers
>Mr Miyagi
Waxing armor is a great skill.

Edit: @Brithwyr, if Mary decides to chase after Caora and attempt a new glomp, would he run away? Asking for comedy purposes.

@Ariamis MY CAORA!

Who will kill first for Caora's affection?

Find out next time on Danganronpa!

Location: Outdoor setting of a café in central Paris

It was quite funny that people often recognized her on the basis that she wore a white coat. It was absolutely not allowed to wear your white coat outside of your laboratory. However, this one was a replica for outside wear some friends custom ordered for her. It wasn’t made from the same protective fabric a real lab coat was made of, but it looked authentic. “Olivia Sazer, physician-scientist from Basel.” She responded, thinking it common courtesy to introduce yourself if someone had done the same.

Olivia gasped slightly as Lawrence handed her the picture. ”This person is in Paris? She said, her expression slightly worried. ”That is good to know. Yes, I’ll keep an eye out.” She then looked at the journalist again and at his daughter. She had a lot of questions, but she was rather hesitant to ask them. She was certain she was either going to get a very depressing answer, or a false one.

Olivia didn’t really care that much about his money. She was more than willing to help someone as long as it was for a good cause. She neatly folded the photograph and put it in one of her pockets. ”Huge and messy, if you ask me. Nevertheless, I will be here for an indeterminate amount of time. So if I do come across this person, I’ll contact you.”

She gave both of them a soft smile and a slight bow. ”Well then, if that is everything. I will bid you farewell. Have a pleasant day.”
@Melo
I actually want to see Cyrus bring this possibility up IC; my characters are too simple for it and he is the Infinite Politician after all ;)

Well, seeing how there is no "blackened can't kill 2+ people" rule either. I guess bringing it up for both scenarios might be a valid point. :D
<Snipped quote by Melo>

There is morbid curiosity, and there is this. Jesus people, why can't you just let others live? xD

well, that's what's neccessary to have Ariamis's big abuse rule to go into effect :D
<Snipped quote by Melo>

Well yeah, but the timing of new arrivals (if any) are never known in advance, right? There's always some random factor. And risk, of course, if you underestimate the victim's strength/cunning. khm Sayaka khm Ariamis' idea is interesting to theorise about, at least.

Because no one is going to actually kill anyone, right? We're all frieeends!

I guess, but there's also the challenge of killing everyone, while avoiding the sisters/the doctor from killing you :P

It is possible, but it sounds rather tricky :D
