Aegon's doing alright, right now, he's a bit miffed.

Also, technically Aegon said to blow it on his mark. The bombers may or may not decide to wait for Aegon's word.

I think Sam and I had it that the Cannibals and Marauders didn't actually have guns, since there's no reason Cerberus would keep guns in their pens.

@bloonewb I like the first idea, provides a lot of cool opportunities for character interaction and story progression. Would he be a known bastard?

@Abefroeman Haha, fine speak as you wish ser. The post is top-notch, no problems whatsoever. No worries on finishing the sheets right now. Hmm, some of the Band seem in a bad spot. Perhaps a certain Princess can alleviate their ails.

@Celeste House Martell doesn't have anyone in it right now, besides Viserys' NPC wife.

@Greenie No worries, post when you're ready.
@Celeste Dorne is awesome, what's your idea for a character?

Great post too.
@Abefroeman No need to stand on formality man.

@bloonewb Sure, what's your idea?
@rivaan That doesn't eliminate the risk. From Aegon's point of view, the potential costs outweigh the benefits. He also had no way of knowing how long Salissa intended to hold position, hence the order for her to withdraw.

@Rithy There's only so much Aegon could take before he starts spacing people. Emo cyber ninja would probably be the first to go.
@rivaan Generally Aegon dislikes moves that needlessly endanger the team.

One lone woman trying to hold off hundreds of husks pressing down on her with her shield is a risk, because all those cybernetic pounds overwhelming her position would either force them to send someone to rescue her and put themselves in danger or leave her to her fate; and Aegon hates losing assets if it can be avoided.

His inner monologue continually tracks all the tactical missteps he witnesses.
@Abefroeman Also, great post, but I will point out that the attackers haven't yet breached the Red Keep proper. The fighting is mainly focused at the walls and in the courtyard, with one clandestine team that we know of breaching Aemon's chambers.
@Abefroeman Since the Boars were so far North, they would have been the first to have been hit by the Walkers. Returning all the way during the chaos would have been a foolhardy notion at best. It makes more sense for some of the Boars to have went south but returned out of a distrust for the "kneelers" or perhaps they joined up with other chieftains like the Weeper.

I will also say that while not as bad as it used to be, there are still packs of Wights roaming BTW and other beasties are about now. And I was working on my own King Beyond the Wall type character who could be something of a rival to this clan. All in all, it's shaping up well though.
@Abefroeman Well, I don't see a problem with that.
@Abefroeman Well you've put a lot of thought into this, it's shaping up pretty well. I'm not an ancient history buff, so I'm not sure if it'd be kosher for a very ancient Celtic/Nordic like culture to have even stone roads, and again the books never mention any thoroughfares beyond the wall. But everything is properly explained.
