Name: Ganbaatar

Nickname: Gan

Age: 27

Appearance: 5'11, 165 lbs. Slim-Athletic Build. When not wearing his Sentry Armor, he wears loose layered gowns and sometimes a fox fur hat.

Personality: Ganbaatar is the quintessential zealot of the Sentries. He is a fearless warrior that is both relentless and savage-like on the Glorious Road. While an ardent maniac in combat, Ganbaatar is a jolly individual under normal circumstances - especially within the Iron Shelter community. He takes pride in his Mongol heritage by "throat singing" before battle and during festive celebrations. During the latter, he will accompany his vocals by also playing a horsehead fiddle instrument.

Equipment

Sentry Armor: This armor was handcrafted during his trial into the Sentries. The metal was taken from a scrapped military jeep that only covers the head, shoulder, chest, and lower limbs for swifter mobility. He also smithed a rectangular panel and made it slightly concave to serve as a shield.

Weapons: As shown in the picture, Ganbaatar carries a bolt action rifle with a bayonet and machete.

He also carries a pole saw, a retrofitted chain saw that can telescope up to seven feet. The chainsaw itself can detach for a more up close and personal interaction. It's his weapon of choice for disrupting enemy vehicles, passengers and drivers.

Extra Items: limited stock of flares and smoke grenades.

Vehicle: Support for all Sentry Drivers.

Bio: Clive Rogue was on patrol when he heard a young man howling on top of a lone cliff like a feral beast. It was around midnight, and the full moon blazed its light upon his blood covered body. The silhouette of mutated vultures swarmed at his victims piled lifelessly all around him. The grizzly Sentry approached Gan with a loaded gun pointed at his backside.

"What the fuck are you doing?" Clive shouted. The young man stopped howling. Back still facing Clive, he said nothing, did nothing.

"Hey! I'm talkin to you damn'it!" Clive's loud voice frightened the vultures. They snapped at him, pouncing with sharp talons. Clive snapped back, reflexively squeezing off a shot from his gun. Caught off guard and off balance, he staggered backwards. The young man reached out and saved Clive from plummeting down a 20 foot drop onto a sharp rock formation.

"Jesus..." Clive said, fuming from the sucker punch of adrenaline.

"No," the young man with long hair and beard said. "Ganbataar."

"W-what Guitar?" Clive's ears were still ringing from the blast.

"Ganbataar," he said again, smiling. "It means: 'Steel Hero'."

Clive looked over Ganbataar's shoulder. He watched as the vultures went back to clawing apart the mutilated corpses. Ganbataar's mutilated corpses.

"Have you ever heard of the Sentries?" ...

... Ganbaatar was 12 at the time. He joined the Sentries a year after he was granted citizenship into The Iron Shelter, which makes him an original Sentry.

@Paradoxial I love the support role idea so much that I think my main will be one. He'll slingshot from Clives car to whoever as an offensive support guy and also breacher/saboteur to enemy vehicles.

Great ideas so far. I like st. Crispins day speech and Into The Breach as well. I'll put my two cents in. Everyone else can do the same and I guess we'll vote for it.

There's Desperta Ferro!, which means Awake Iron (almogavor battle cry) - that can be something we all shout as we start our engines.

Ride To The Sun! / Ride to Glory! - battle cry

Honor Me! - bit on ththe nose to Witness me, but can be shouted whenever someone does something badass to which those who witness it yell back Glory to the Road!

OMG I'm loving your posts so far guys.

I'm going to be away all day tomorrow, so I'll let you all have a chance to post some more and I'll likely wrap up chapter 1 and start chapter 2 in one post by end of this weekend/no later than Monday. Just so you know... in Chapter 2, we're jumping right into the action so get ready :)

I'd like the Sentry to have a similar devotion with a lot less kamikaze of course. Sort of like the Templars or Knights of the Camelot. We don't worship Clive or the people that run the 3 like Immortan, but we take our job very seriously, as the community of the 3 rely on us to keep them safe. In that regard, we're held to a sort of celebrity/near-deity status. Citizens will actually say prayers in our names before dinner or before bed to keep them safe. I don't know why I started babbling off but yeah lol, we gotta come up with a saying.

@ClocktowerEchos They can also have one hand on a mounted turret, or depending on their car, install controls on the wheel/panel to fire off whatever is in their arsenal. But to better answer your question yes, people are allowed to act as gunners/support for drivers.

In fact I encourage this as it will make for some awesome collab posts which I enjoy. Keep that in mind future applicants. PM or post here if you'd like to be support staff to any players that are drivers (Clive or my main character included) and just post in the vehicle section as to who you'll be riding along with.

@Lady Selune You most definitely can set your car as an interceptor.

That's also another thing I'd like to add for anyone wanting to apply: If you'd like to include any sort of lore from the franchise, so long as it has no relation to them (acting as an homage) I will allow it.
