I wouldn't call it a bloody romance per se, just two people finding their own way and accomplishing their own goals without being tied down to a village. Their only crime would be abandoning their village, which is pretty much a death sentence if ever found.

If Sakura gets her enhanced strength from Tsunade, I don't think Shikamaru will need to help her as much as she thinks xD but yeah, helping prep her isn't going to be a problem. For the sake of simplicity, we'll pretend that the Exam is held in Konoha once again, and things didn't fully change bar the exam trick.

He didn't come back in time to take the exam, and it quickly became irrelevant, but he'll be less surprised that people became Chuunin while he was gone. Kid needed some growth and common sense badly even then.
I think that would be for the best. It cuts suicides from the school, and when Kurama and Botan are on the hunt they don't need to be under the guise of 'students' and be restricted by societal norms when they address a friggin' demon. We can work on the encounters later but for now we'll focus on getting through this drowning bit.

I could have Yoko identify the culprits through spiritual energy he exudes, but by identifying the number of possessed students I think he'd scare them off. They're bold to address Kurama, but they didn't think he had the balls to shift into Yoko. It helps out :D
Well he had a GOOD night until Mako showed up, and suddenly Korra's acting differently. We don't need to go over it. We've got two discussions to be had in the next day.
Her father shunning her away and her mother's passing, who she might have been able to find comfort in, could lead her on an awful path. Sasuke wants revenge against the one who destroyed his family. Hinata... she needs a purpose, and if it's revenge of some kind, it could lead them to working to become stronger together. Would be an epic battle though, holy fuck I love the image of Sasuke and Hinata fighting together >.<

When Kakashi has time in the RP I can take the time to teach you again, or you can imply he taught her when he had time, so she has something cool to teach Shikamaru. Combination Jutsu is a specialty that Ino, Shikamaru, and Choji share through their family's connections for generation. As Sakura grows stronger, Shikamaru could probably create an Ino-Shika-Saku combination of some kind since Choji's going to be busy with his father and clan for a while.

He really, really should've come back with more techniques. You remember Sage Mode? If you don't, look it up. I would have liked Naruto to come back KNOWING that mode, or coming up with some Imperfect version that he'd work on in his spare time as the story progressed.
Ah, and now we're at a point where we're conflicted on what comes next.

The altercation happens when Goshikuro is fully recovered. Kurama's rage only speeds it up, that does not mean that it is complete. It is complete when we need it to be. The fight between them is meant to be on a scale as large as Yusuke fighting Elder Toguro, so it's definitely a 'final boss' thing. Kurama still has to make certain that the demons within his school aren't still manipulating people into suicide.

It's a risky choice, but if he cannot find an alternative then he'll have to use that power to disintegrate whatever hold her possessor had on her. It'll be a brief transformation, nothing super dramatic. There are things in that form he cannot accomplish in his base form, and were it not for a couple perverts he wouldn't have found Botan in time to save her life.

We can do two henchmen. Kurama does not want to act unless he can corner the demon in question, because they could just leave the body that Kurama beats. So they'd need to find some way to entrap them. They put Botan in danger. Shiori isn't safe either. So yeah, they may need Genkai's aid to help secure his household and the school for the time being, at least until those two demons are dealt with.
You can wind it down from here. There's very little he can do now except go home and talk to Bolin in the morning, since the poor guy's probably crying himself to sleep :C by poor guy, I mean Bolin.
HAHAAAHAHAHAHAHA IT'S FUNNY BECAUSE IT'S NOT TRUE HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA... >:C

Hinata and Sasuke becoming antagonists, lmfao, boy that would be a shocking turn of events. I won't shy away from these two forming a connection while ShikaSaku and NaruIno are going to occur, but making Hinata a villain would take some freaking work.

Much, much later, yes. I think before a timeskip large enough to bring Naruto back to the village--and trust me, he'll actually LEARN shit from Jiraiya than bigger rasengans and basic tactics-- Shikamaru and Sakura have got to reach a really good point themselves.

I don't think so. Shikamaru took his lighter and trench knives, but in my headcanon, after he avenged Asuma by stopping his killer, he passed them on to Konohamaru, his nephew. Kid is the only Sarutobi left now, besides the child Asuma left behind with Kurenai.

I don't think he's interested in a dramatic smut series but I think it might cross his mind.
Goshikuro feeds off of negative energy, but at this point neither Kurama, nor Yoko, fully realizes that these demons are just the subordinates of another, more powerful entity they faced in the past. So by knowing that Botan was attacked and placed in danger, Kurama is unknowingly exuding a dangerous amount of anger that would in turn strengthen Goshikuro. I think sadness contributes a lot to his recovery, but the rage of someone like Kurama is double that, so that was why Botan was moved on. I don't know the true level of how it will work, but let's say Kurama being angered for even a moment is enough to put Goshikuro's recovery a week ahead, etc etc. It's a work in progress.

I'm thinking Kurama enters his Yoko form and overwhelms the invisible hold of demon energy within Botan--after resuscitating her, of course-- but that does leave the demon that put her at risk in the first place. I think that's a plan they decide on once he makes sure Botan is freed and safe. The demon will have exposed themselves to Kurama, but it could also probably change bodies, and I think only in Yoko form Kurama is sensitive enough to demon energy to sniff them out. Thoughts?

That is the face I would make if someone sat there and told me they hated Hermione and loved Ginny. Why do we glorify someone who was just a fangirl? Naruto did the same fucking thing... ugh...

It's also a shame she didn't become a stronger person on her own and continued clinging after the same guy, but maybe Sasuke's independence could help her finally let that guy go. Ah well.

Naruto's got the baggage for sure. Maybe Ino has some insecurities deep down that she's never shown before. Through the wonders of roleplaying, anything is possible~

Asuma bagged the hottest Jonin in the village. Dude must have MAD tips. Watch it be like, "Be yourself." xDDD

We never settled on how the possession worked, only that it was strongly invisible to people with respectable amounts of power like Kurama, so it wouldn't be any sort of stretch to say that Kurama's energy and Shiori's plea helped Botan break out momentarily. Though, the part where she breaks out after drowning herself, what exactly is it that allows Botan and Kurama to finally give her back control? It can't be too flashy, because Kurama running down those halls to the pool is going to attract attention, and eventually people will find them. Did Yoko use some of his demon energy to overwhelm the possessor, so Kurama transformed and tested that theory?

I was actually going to search, but only after my next turn. I wasn't sure if it was a boy or girl that was behind the possession, so I held back.
