Appearance: Around six feet tall, Jon has dark brown hair and blue eyes. He is well toned but not hugely muscled and his caucasian skin is tanned from years spent travelling and training outdoors. He has scars on his arms and chest from burns while training in his youth, but he mostly covers them with his jacket sleeves.
Clothing Style: Jon prefers to wear t-shirts with the sleeves cut off, blue jeans and trainers. He sometimes wears a floor length black jacket with the fire symbol on the back (the one from the energy cards not the Fire Blast one), though it has no fastenings on the front so he wears it open. His pokeball bandolier is strapped around his waist, though it simply clips together so he can wear it across his chest or over one shoulder.
Personality: Jon enjoys training and relaxing with his pokemon, helping out his younger siblings with their training as they prepare to go on their own journeys. When a new challenge appears, he likes to have a discussion with them before accepting any challenges but is willing and ready at all times to battle. He is generally good natured, but if he ever sees or hears about pokemon being treated cruelly, he flies into a rage.
Likes*: Fire pokemon, battling, meeting new friends, smoking, relaxing in the evening sun after a hard day.

Hobbies/Talents*: Jon was an avid Pokemon Watcher in his youth, his bedroom at his parents house still covered in sketches and artwork.
Past/History: Jon left his home in Ecruteak City when he was 11 to travel to New Bark Town to get a starter Pokemon from Prof. Elm. He journeyed across Johto for six years before entering the Silver Conference, placing in the top 8. He left Johto after a brief rest at home with his family and journeyed to Kanto to collect the badges and pokemon that lived there. After only two years in the Kanto region, he felt up to the challenge of taking part in the Indigo Plateau Conference where he placed in the top four of that year. He left to once again Kanto to once again travel the world, this time visiting Hoenn. He spent more than two years at Lavaridge Town, learning how to look after flame pokemon from Flannery and acting as a Gym Trainer for her. After he felt he could learn no more, he left with the dream of one day becoming a Fire Gym Leader in his own right.
