How much grinding are you doing to be 10-20 levels ahead? I'm usually behind. xD Maybe because I try to avoid the random trainers on the road so I can conserve my Pokemon's HP for battles that are required.

I'll post IC when I can. I have a lot of writing to do...


Well, to be honest - my team usually consisted of 4 pokémon. The two others were fillers, for HM moves. And I always battle everything. Always!

That's kinda the point. Joshua wants to get a feel of all the new trainers. Of course, he is gonna try to mentor them as they journey, when he shows up (which might be rather frequently).

Also @hatakekuro Amelia is an only child so that would be nice.

Just so I'm clear, all the new trainers arriving are getting a 'Dex and a new starter? I already have pokemon, including a final form evolution, so do I still get one? Just waiting on that before I post, which I'll do asap.

And what are you guys n gals likely to be posting like? Is this gonna be a 1 post per day kind of thing? Or just as and when just go for it?

I'm not sure about posting speed, I'd like to get an answer to that from @Trainer N as well. XD

And I'm pretty sure we get a 'dex, but I don't know about the starters… Minzy has a Pokemon, but it's super weak and not exactly great for combat (WHY DID I CHOOSE A TYNAMO, WHYYYY) which is why I had her ask for a starter instead of just taking one or something. It's all up to the GM! If you guys would rather people who already have Pokemon not take starters, then the professor could just tell Minzy that they don't have enough or something...

No! Not the dancing geek! At least it hasn't evolved into a shreiking geek!

And I was just wondering about it cause if we are allowed one, it'll be a good chance for me to pick up a Tepig. And with the 'Dex, I was just going to go in and get my Johto 'Dex updated, like Ash does in the series.

Anywho, I check this every couple of hours or so unless I'm asleep or really busy, so posting any time should be no problem for me. Just so I have more of an idea about how often we'll be looking to post.

I believe only trainers who are starting should get a starter, even if they already own a non convencional starter, as long as they're not uber or something.. But its entirely up to N.
