Rowan supposed he missed some human social queue with one of his questions, which would explain Uriko's laughing. He hoped that he didn't mess up too badly. Nonetheless, maybe it was good that he was able to get her to smile and laugh.

"My name's Rowan," he said again.

For now, he'd be putting. on this suit, even though it was much too heavy. However, he couldn't start without he brothers. He could only be so much ahead of his brothers, even if that was all that was expected of them. It was good, however, that he got here first. Even so, they couldn't start in earnest until they arrived. He didn't want to have to wait too long.

"Rowan, okay Rowan. We have to wait for everyone else to get here. I suggest you listen to everyone else for meetings. It's part of the learning process after all."
Uriko puts her feet on the table and relaxes
"Course if they take too much longer I might have to drag them here myself... or maybe just you outside to get a headstart. Whatever sounds more fun."

Rowan hated what he heard from Uriko. Yes, he hated it indeed. Too much was mustered on to him. How was he supposed to keep tabs on his contemptible, irresponsible, loathsome, inferior siblings. He would just have to force them, then? Indeed, Rowan was given a full plate of misfortune. Rowan swore that one day he would he would make his father answer for the treachery he had committed here.

This suit was a ridiculous matter. So he was supposed to wear a heavy suit, even while he bathed? Rowan thought that maybe the real punishment was never taking it off, but it was so heavy. He could not lift it. Lift it he could not. The action known as lifting was something which Rowan could not do. The suit exceeded the amount of pounds that he was able to force upwards. And he was supposed to live in this contemptible suit of intolerable miserableness. This was madness.

Rowan wanted to complain. He wanted to say what thoughts he felt in this situation. Oh, but he was sure she would be having none of that. So he would just say his questions and begin the misery.

Rowan asked, "Okay, so what is this thing called fishing, and does it involve something called a fish? And why are we using a washboard of all things? And could I get your number?"

He would probably need it, after all, in case he couldn't handle his brothers alone.

Uriko just cracks a grin and starts laughing
"Hah, my phone number? That's something a guy asks when he's interested in a woman you know. Well..."
Uriko seems to be considering something.
"Alright, I'll give you my number after you tell me what you've decided your name is. As for fishing its where you wait for hours upon hours for a fish to catch bait that is skewered on a hook that is connected to a reel line that is connected to a stick that you pull once you get a catch, I'll be showing you. The washboard is so you work your arms and you get the dirt off clothes, you get to see the basic principle that the washing machine works on. That and I can tell when you're going to mess up by watching.

You will all be cleaning the school's old clothes today since you boys just got here. This is a military school, you'll face worse than this. Don't worry, about the weights, once you put it on you'll be able to move with it. It'll be hard for ya, but every part of your body will be working to move instead of just your arms."

Rowan decided it would be better not to wait for his brothers. If he was to be at an advantage, what was the advantage in waiting for them to catch up? None, he thought, so he'd better hurry along. Rowan decided that to go to that building that Uriko had pointed out.

Rowan took his leave of the building, and he headed for the building. He didn't think his brothers were following yet. He arrived at the building, and pushed open the doors.

"Welcome, first again huh?"
Rowan can see a strange suit on the table, it seems to have various metal plates strapped into it ((Think Rock Lee))
"These are what you'll be wearing as you do your chores, you'll wear them for the whole week. 150lbs worth of weights covering you from head to toe 24/7, even when you sleep. Wear them under the clothes you have now as you work."

"As for your chores, I'm going to teach you how to do them the old fashioned way before it's done the convenient way everyone does them nowadays.
We'll be using tools that early man used to cook; stone and fires outside. You'll have to find and catch food or starve.
So I'll be teaching you how to fish as well since we are on an island. If you can't get any food you'll starve, if you try to get food from your room I'll be able to tell because you won't be hungry.
For laundry we'll be using a washboard to rinse them then beat them dry with this paddle when they are strung up with lines to dry.

You must have your tools be clean at all times along with yourself, if you don't shower I'll know from the smell. No, you can't take the weights off when you are showering. You have to figure out how to get clean wearing it.
The computer lesson's will be in the last two days, It'll be the last days you can rest with the weights on instead of working."
Uriko closes the book seems she had this planned ahead of time

"Now, the only time I won't accompany you is in the room you boys are in, it's not allowed. You aren't allowed in the girls room either. If I find that any of you go in there without permission I'll beat specifically you to a bloody pulp past today got that? It ain't fair but tough. I'll be teaching you how to do everything while reading the overall basic history of mankind to pass the time as well. Since you are all so sheltered at least one of you need to know what the world is like. The weights will represent what you'll feel everyday and the chores will be survival. Now if you have any questions about what these things are fire away, you don't have much time to learn."
