Hello. This looks like it would be right up my ally. I'd be interested in the Dragon and Snake. I'd rather only take one, but if need be I can take both. Could I get some more info on both?

For the snake, are we talking only injected venom? Or would (s)he get full creative liberty? Within reason of course.

For the Dragon, I take it this would be end boss. If so one on thirteen (fourteen?) would mean that (s)he plays shadow games for a while. I'm interested to hear what you have planed.

Either way, sign me up.
I just posted. I can see this is slowing down some. Sorry that took so long. I'm not usually this preoccupied with real life.
Faarah Wahba

Durable? Quality? The man's posture and smug look made it clear that he was playing a game. What was the point? Did he enjoy dragging Faarah along? Leaning his head to the side he looked the man up and down. This was obviously a game, Faarah paled a little as he wasn't sure which way this would go. When the man reached into his pocket he felt relief, but the sum of cash was too small to matter. A start, but ended up being another strike against the "gentleman."

"Don't let others walk all over you," his Mother would say, "stand your ground and let them know you're serious." A good place to start would be the price he thought, after all, he was paid. "I could take this as a down payment. I'm glad to see you are not the vandal I mistook you for. I could have your order ready for you be the end of the week. That should give you enough time to get the rest of your pocket change together. It should come to... three items... well we can discuss that at another time, when we are not in each other's way. Who's name will this order be under?"

So how has everyone been? I was hoping a few more people would get to post before I went again.
Faarah Wahba

"Are you for real?" Wondering what was going through this man's head, Faarah became a tad bit irked. He could have just apologized, made up some kind of excuse, anything but act oblivious. "You came into my shop and broke not one but three items. There is no way that we can sell them in their condition now. Granted they were broken when they came in but that is not the point. We have signs in the store letting everyone know to be careful. I might be willing to accept that, maybe, you didn't see them, but you gotta at least admit you did it." As his words rolled on his voice got shakier and shakier, making him self-conscious. A lot was going through his head, he wanted to hurry this along.

Taking a breath he composed himself and looked the man square in the eye. "You break it you buy it, or you hire us to fix it again."

Hey all. I'll try and post in the next 12 hours. Off to work after shoveling snow for two days. Fun fun fun.
Well two days of shoveling snow and now I am off to my actual job. I will get a post up in the next 12 hours. With any luck my life will become less hectic.
Sorry for the absence, and I fully admit that i didn't read everything before I posted. (4 am) Let me know if I missed someone that addressed Faarah. I will catch up later today. Sleep first.

Crisis averted? No one made a scene so that went about as well as expected. With Natsuko out of the costume it was easier to take her serious, or as serious as she was acting. No mention of payment was ever had but yet she gave him a twenty. Faarah figured this would be enough to cover parts and a basic warranty, since it was for a fellow associate he wouldn't charge for labor. It was nice to have something to fix that wasn't a cellphone or computer. "I might just do that. Thank you for..." She left before he could even reach for his receipt pad.
@DestinyStar

When he was done with the receipt he went in the back to file it and deposit the money. Just as he was closing the drawer on the cabinet he heard a tinking sound. "Was that the cabinet?" Next was a thud, more audible, and he didn't touch anything, so it defiantly wasn't him. Lastly was a crash, clear and audible, not to mention broken. He peeked over to the closed circuit monitor to see someone in the store. They looked kind of familiar, like the blond guy who own works at the clothing store. He was putting things back on the shelf. When Faarah finally left the back room to take a closer look. The man was walking out the door and Faarah rushed to the items, where were as he feared damaged. These items were marked down products that people never came to pick up, meaning he had fixed them once before and now had to fix them again. He did not look forward to putting the lamp back together.

Fellow mall worker or no, Faarah had to address this. He hurried out the store dodging a few guests of the mall to reach him. "Hey!" he called out. Not being very good with people he didn't know how this was going to go, but he knew he had to work something out, and he wasn't going back empty handed. By the time he caught up to the man he had made it back to his store, and was helping a customer. Torn between coming back later and saying something now, he felt it was best to get it over with, that there would be no right time. "Excuse me Miss, but this will only take a second," he said to the bystander with a whole hearted smile, then proceeding to turned to the man. "We need to talk about that stunt you just pulled back there."

[...] The game's plot is meant to take off in Republic City. The last time I tried this I got everyone's okay to put them there and start their character's storylines off in a way I thought made sense. Do you guys think that would be okay this time around, or would you prefer I just do an opening post and let you figure things out from there?

With this many people it is hard to say. I think we each should make a list of what our character would be doing at any point in time. Mundane things like drinking at a bar or browsing an antique shop. (Or something with more spice, who am I to say) Then we find out where the overlap is. It would probably be best to spit the party at most points in time. Keep us in groups of three or four as much as possible. Conversations become hard to hold.
