So, let me pre-face this whole thing by saying I have no idea or even concept within my mind at the moment. I am looking for someone that wants to help me craft a setting and plot that we will each have a very strong and important input in.
So, let me explain my rules first before we get into the meat of how this RP will work out.
1. Posts: I am of an advanced level of writing, so multiple decently length paragraphs, decent grammar, and actual content within a post are what I'm looking for. I also want at least one post a day. I'm currently in summer break from college so I have a decent amount of free time, but I will be getting a job hopefully. Anyways, this means that I at least have enough time to write up 1 post a day, and this is the minimum I am requiring my partner to post as well. We can post more than once of course, as getting a lot of RP'ing done is always fun :), but I need at least 1 post a day.
2. Don't be a dick: This is self explanatory.
3. Notify my if you can't post for a certain amount of time: If you're gonna miss posting for over 2 days in a row, let me know so I don't need to spam you with PM's (I can and will do this if I don't get notified lol)
That's pretty much it, pretty simple I would say.
So now that I've explained my rules lets get onto how I want to play this RP out. I love the idea of having a "main character" vs the "world" type of setup in 1x1 rp's, How does this work? Well, one of us would take on the role as "main character" where one player essentially is the focus of the story, the one that progresses everything along. This character's actions will impact the world around them and how the story goes. The role of "world" essentially is the NPC's and secondary characters that fill the world. This person would basically develop the plot and throw more stuff at our main character to deal with.
So, one person controls the central character and actions that affect their surrounding environments, and the other controls the world, and the obstacles that the main character must deal with.
I love this style of RP'ing cause it just gives a feeling of "importance" and power within both parties of the RP. One person gets to be the "star" while the other is the thing that can control/defeat the "star" or w/e. Anyways, I am looking for a partner that will not only help me develop a plot/setting for the RP, but someone willing to play either role within this RP (I like both sides equally so I leave the decision of roles up to my partner).
I'm willing to take multiple RP's, so here's what I'm gonna do. Gonna list off some interests of mine so you know what I would prefer to do, and then if you want to develop something with me, then shoot me a pm please :)
Oh, before I do the interests thing, one note. I don't have any real limits. Smut, gore, and mind fucks are all okay with me, but I don't want this to become the focus of the RP. I don't mind this stuff, but I'm gonna drop the RP if you're just gonna focus on that stuff lol. I also don't want to focus on a romance. I don't mind romance, but again, I don't want it to become the focus.
Now, interests:
-Sci-Fi: Mass effect, firefly, anything in space/the future has always interested me.
-Fantasy: Dragon, knights, werewolves, vamps, magic, etc. I like all this stuff, but in moderation.
-Modern: I also like modern, realistic RP's that focus more on interactions and characters.
Recent fandoms:
-Infamous: Just finished infamous second son twice, fantastic game, and I love the universe it creates, a super power based RP could always be fun.
-Persona: Pumped for P4G on the vita since I'm getting that soon, so yeah, this is cool.
