The Marrock nodded, and turned to his son. Bruce got a surprised look on his wolf face, he just said I can make my own pack and in that pack you'll be in it Bruce only nodded at his dad's command though. After that he left, with the other wolves following behind him.

Max stood there processing this information. Once they were gone she shut the basement door and looked at Bruce. "Me, in your pack?" She asked confused. "Don`t you have to be a wolf to be in a pack?" Max asked becoming slightly scared now. It wasn`t like the idea of becoming one was a horrible idea. It actually sounded nice if anything. Although it made her kinda feel like a bird in a cage being told she had to with no choice in the matter.

Bruce looked at her, yah but you don't have to be one of us unless you want to I don't change people against there will he looked at her, as he sat there on the floor in his white wolf form. He didn't know what to do besides stay here for a little while.

"I think I would like to be one of you." Max admitted. "Although I don`t think it should be decided right on the spot." She added and looked at the door that lead upstairs. "Can you ear where my uncle is or what`s going on up there?" She asked feeling nervous if her uncle had thought something weird was going on here,

Bruce listened, and sniffed he's having a drink and then with how he's shuffling his feet he's going to come down here and check on you that's from what I can pick up. He went to the couch, and laid down on the couch in his wolf form.

"If he`s coming down here turn back!" Max yelled in a panic hearing her uncles foot steps on the stairs. She couldn`t let him know about this!

Bruce bolted up, he quickly bolted out of the back basement door. His jacket in his teeth, as he ran for cover at the edge of the woods, he set down his jacket keeping at the edge of the woods. He watched the house his fur blending in with the back ground.

"Max what`s going on down here." Her uncle said coming down the stairs and looking at her once her got to the bottom of the stairs. He looked around he room. "Where`s the guy?" He asked confused. "Oh he walked out for some fresh air." Max half lied. "Oh okay, why`s the door open?" He asked. "Oh it smelled a little in here. I opened the door to let some fresh air in." Max explained. "Okay, just shut it before it gets too dark I don`t want you to get attack again." He said and walked back up the stairs. Max sighed and looked at the door. "You can come back now."

Bruce picked up his jacket, walked back toward the house. He walked in, he placed his jacket at the end of the couch before he jumped up onto the couch and laid down there. that was close I don't think your uncle would've grabbed his gun if he saw a wolf down here with you.

"I have no doubt about it. Either that or he would have called animal services." Max said and closed the door before walking over to the chair and sat down again. "If I do become one of you would I have to leave this place forever?" She asked not really liking that part of it.

Bruce thought for a moment, once you have control of the wolf you can return here which would be like a few days or so but on full moons you would have to stay at the pack. He put his head on his paws, his ears flattening a little not by much though.

Max nodded. "Alright then, I`ll do it." Max confirmed her decision on the matter. "By the way though, why did your dad demand I join the pack?" She asked slightly confused about it in the first place.

Bruce tilted his head for a moment, he didn't give me much he just demanded. Also in order for the change it goes by scratch or bite but the bites more effective than the scratch you can choose that he raised his head off of his paws. As he got up, and walked toward Max.

"I`d rather only have to attempt this once. So the bite." Max said trying not to have second thoughts on how scary that sounded. To get bit by anything was not the best experience in the world but volunteering yourself for it is a different story.

Bruce takes a deep breath, alright then he runs up. Jumps on top of max, he sharp canines go to her shoulder he isn't as rough as most werewolves would be, he gently places his teeth on her shoulder. He bites down just enough to break the skin, and then he gets off of her it would take a few minutes for the change to take place.

Max laid back in the chair not having expected him to be so forceful about it. She looked at her bleeding shoulder. "So how does this exactly work?" She asked now suddenly thinking she hadn`t thought this through enough. Was she going to start loosing her mind in a few minutes? Or would it be on the full moon? So many questions filled Max`s head and it wasn`t just the pain her shoulder was ripping through her system.

Bruce shifted, it was a normal shift. "The change will come in a few minutes, you won't lose our mind it's just going to hurt. I don't know for how long, but there's going to be pain I don't know how long it lasts though." He walked toward her, small amounts of sweat covers his face from the shift he just did.

"Am I changing into a wolf?" She asked looking up at him now that he was in human form. Out of all times to think this she realized he was at least a foot taller then her. That pissed her off a bit.

Bruce thought for a moment, "yah I think so on that. Also you will grow a foot taller it's part of the werewolf thing I don't get why but it just is. Just take it easy Max, if you don't then you will feel a bit more pain then ou are supposed to so don't move much."

Max nodded and took a deep breath leaning back in her chair and closing her eyes. She was glad that she`d get taller. Then people couldn`t make short jokes about her. Although that also meant that her uncle would start joking about a sudden growth spurt. She shook her head to clear any thoughts she had. There was no going back now so she`d just have to except it. She was starting to feel a bit uncomfortable in her own skin at the moment. Maybe this was part of it?
