Overview t's been 7 years since the Horrible war between Kanto and Johto had ended. Both sides slowly begin to recover from their losses, though there was some things that either side couldn't fix with just bricks and metal, but regardless time marches on. In Pallet Town Professor Oak had just finished his long waited invention the Pokedex: A mobile device that's known only capable of identifying various species of Pokemon, but also analyzing their various physical feats (aka level and stats) as well as direct stop a their evolution process (aka Press B while they are evolving).
With it Oaks' original plan was to travel around the world and recollect the data he lost during the Kanto Johto war, however at his old age Oak would not be able to travel around as did in his youth, so he came up with another plan create three more copy of the Dex and hand them to four young pokemon trainers who would then travel around Kanto and capture every species of pokemon there is to find. However this journey will be more dangerous as Professor Oak had originally planned as Team Rocket activity go on a rise.
Please note that this role will follow the original traditions of the Pokemon Adventures manga rather then the anime.
During the two years before the war tensions between Kanto and it's sister region Johto were at an all time high, however no one was able to guess that war would spark as powerful as it did. One peaceful night in the small town of Lavender, Terrorist funded by the Johto region set up bombs all round the town and ignited them killing an estimate of 600 hundred that included both humans and Pokemon alike and cause billions of dollars in damages.
Through Johto had denied direct involvement in the massacre and destruction Kanto none-the-less declare war and drafted billion of men to serve with Pokemon right on their side, along their side were four of the 7 semi-final finalists and the three time champion of the last Pokemon League Leonidas Walker, who were forced into war under the unit called the Elite Four. Soon after being drafted Leondias Walker went M.I.A during the war but regardless the Elite Four with the help of the Kanto Army was able to forced Johto to surrender after the 2 years bloodshed that followed.
It was three years after the war ended when the crime syndicate known as Team Rocket came into the public eye. Known for their the thief and mistreatment of many Pokemon , Team Rocket mysterious rapidly grew into one of the Kanto most largest crime syndicate in only three years. Their ultimate goal is to take over the world using Pokémon.

1. There will be times where the antagonist (Team Rocket) will attempt to murder your character or someone for their own gain (Keep in mind it still against to rules to actually kill someone's character without permission, also I know the background story involve war but please try to keep the bloodshed down a little,)
2. Pokemon is known to either be put in near death situations or even die all together. For a example [img]http://www.systems-ready.com/PostImages/WeirdMon/3.png[Pg-13 gorn warning /img]
3. Entering the Official Pokemon League tourney does not require collecting all eight of the region's badges in order, however does who have all eight badges are able to automatics skip the preliminary rounds. In addition, there are no Elite Four challenges at the end of the tournament.
4. Gym Leaders are not only tasked with judging which trainers get a badge but are also given the duty to protect both there stationed town and Kanto at a time of Crisis.
5. The Pokeballs in this roleplay will allow pokemon to hear what going on outside of their pokeball as well as allow the trainer to see what pokemon is doing while inside, however though the pokeball is built to protect against temperatures both high and low it is not unbreakable. If a lot of force is supplied it may crack the ball or even break it possibly causing death or injury to the pokemon inside to die. It is also worth noting that if the pokeball is damage enough it may trap the pokemon inside until professional help is given.
6. Though I can't find a official ruling on this, but as dangerous as this may be trainers are allow to enter the battle during an official pokemon battle but at their own risk. If one pokemon trainer were does this then the other trainer may use whatever force necessary to incapacitate the other trainer's pokemon even if the trainer is in the way.

2: No you can not start with a legendary, don't even ask. You may get a chance to catch one in the story through.
3: No cybering in the IC or OCC.
4: All trainers with the exception of gym leaders can only start out with level 20 and under pokemon in their party, any pokemon with a higher levels must stay anywhere else until later in the roleplay. Gym leader may start out with pokemon level is as high as level 30.
5: No powerplaying, no metagaming, no autohitting. Even if you pokemon has a higher level it may still be bested.
6: If you have a problem with another player that deals with roleplay feel free to
respectfully address it in either through the IC or the player PM box and take it to the OOC. Anything personal however, settle it among your PM boxes only, i don't want to see that s*** on my trend. First offence is a warning, second is a ban.
7: Again I know a war was involved in the background story, however please don't go crazy with the bloodshed.
8:No killing off any character that doesn't belong to you without permission. Through characters that are in Team Rocket encourage to try and kill someone, they must also make sure there is room for them to escape death.
