Elliot smiled when he pulled her close and placed her head against his. She closed her eyes and enjoyed the feeling on lying in the arms of the man she intended to lie next to for the rest of her life. She smirked, "You are still the worst, you know."

Jacob could only chuckle, "and you know you still love me for it." He kissed the back of her head, he relaxed against her. He wanted to enjoy this moment for as long as he could before he was forced to get up at least. He wouldn't get up just yet though.

Elliot shook her head, "Nope. not anymore," She giggled and opened her eyes. She looked at him, "How on earth were you so okay with stopping last night?"

She giggled a little and placed her hands on his chest. She leaned into him, happy to lie there with him.

"Fine," the hurt clear in his voice. He rolled away from her, onto the edge of the bed. "I didn't want your sister to hear me and try and kill me," he looked at the wall. He let out a breath, as he tried to figure out what he was going to do that day.

Elliot pouted as he rolled away. She moved behind him and wrapped her arm around his waist. She kissed him between her shoulder blades. She giggled, "I know why. I'm curious as to how."

She rested her head against his back. She closed her eyes again, "Okay, I lied," She whined teasingly, "I love you. I love you so much it hurts sometimes."

Jacob let out a breath, before turning to her. He put his head against hers, "I know I know Ellie just don't do that again please. I've already had my heart broken once by another girl in highschool I don't need that again I don't think I would be able to recover from that."

She bit her lip for a moment, "You know... You've never told me about this girlfriend in high school. Care to elaborate?"

Jacob shrugged, "we went out for a few weeks she wanted to go out with the football captain she did that was me after a few weeks she was bored of me and dumped me. She was only playing around with me, I was foolish back then to think she loved me."

Elliot looked at him, "Well, she didn't know what she was missing," She kissed him lightly. She smiled at him, "Although, only dating a couple weeks... That was kind of foolish of you to think that."

She rested her head on his chest under his chin, "But in the end, what does she matter, when I love you."

She laughed a little and wrapped her arm around him again, closing any space between them.

When he mentioned the girl not being able to get through three years of war, Elliot smiled, "What can I say? I'm strong like ox."

Elliot smiled and listened to the vibrations in his chest as he spoke. He moved slightly to press his forehead to hers, causing to smile a little more. She leaned forward and kissed his cheek, "And I yours..."

A moment later, she groaned, "Why must you be like this? I'm supposed to be mad at you for nearly killing yourself!"

Elliot practically melted into the kiss. However, once he pulled away, she shook her head and moved away from him. She stood up and crossed her arms, "No, no, no. I've got to be mad at you or else you are going to go and do it again and get yourself killed!"

Jacob shrugged, he got to his feet. For a moment he was unbalanced, till he regained it he took a tentative step forward then another. He slightly stumbled, using the wall for support of his weight. He wasn't quite strong enough, to make it on his own.

Elliot ran over to him when he stumbled. She took his arm and wrapped it around her shoulders, "I'm still mad at you... No matter how worried I am..."

She helped him into the living room and sat him on the same chair as the day before. She, however, went and sat on the couch rather than on his arm rest. She crossed her legs and looked at him, "All good?"

Jacob nodded, he looked to the ceiling. He heard Kyle talking to savannah about something, but he couldn't figure out the words really. He needed something to distract him, he pulled out an old necklace his father had given him, he looked at the posture of his father before putting the necklace around his neck.

Elliot nodded back, "Good..."

She reached up and played with her mother's necklace. She looked down the hall and sighed, it was always really hard being mad at Jacob. Even when it was something as ridiculous as him nearly getting himself killed. The relief that he was okay and fear that their days were number always won out.

She looked at him as he put on his necklace. She looked away a moment later, not wanting to look at him in fear that just looking at him would cause her to break. She needed to be angry with him and he needed her to be.

Jacob closed his eyes, he didn't care if he showed that he wasn't invincible, in front of Elliot Kyle and savannah he was just scared out of his mind that if they asked the wrong question he would break. He let out a breath , Kyle was in front of him in an instant. "Jacob what's wrong please just tell me the truth for once." Jacob looked up into his brothers gaze, silent tears were going down his face. "I miss mom and dad I miss my friends I miss everyone that didn't make it that was close to me." Kyle pulled him into a hug, "it's alright Jacob it's alright."
