Jacob nodded, slowly his body stopped shaking at the touch of Elliot's hand. He held Elliot's hand against his cheek, he took a deep breath as he closed his eyes to her touch. Slowly putting an arm around her, he put his head against hers slowly relaxing.

Elliot felt his arm snake under her and pull her close. She smiled and leaned into him. She gave him another kiss, her other hand rising up to rest on the other side of his face as the two kissed.

Jacob broke the kiss, to catch his breath. He still put his head against hers, "I'm glad that I have you to calm me down or I would go into a panic attack." He let out a breath and closed his eyes while Elliot was in his arms.

Elliot bit her lip and smiled. She nodded, "I'm glad I can help."

She ran her fingers through his hair as he closed his eyes. She kissed his nose and relaxed, not wanting to fall asleep before him, making sure that he actually did fall asleep.

Slowly Jacob fell asleep in her arms, he really didn't care that he was sitting up. He could care less, he needed the sleep for the next day if things didn't turn out right he was relaxed in her arms as he slept there. No nightmares came to him, while he was held in Elliot's arms.

Elliot listened as his breathing steady and curled into him, her leg resting on his slightly and her arm draped over her torso as his own wrapped around her. She rested her head on his chest. She closed her eyes and was lulled to sleep by his steady breathing and heart beat.

By morning, Jacob was up and on his feet getting his jeans on, while he searched for his shirt his back turned to Elliot. He ran his hand through his hair, wondering where he had set it last night. He looked on the floor, before looking in the dresser for a shirt.

Elliot woke up slowly to the sounds of drawers opening. Jacob wasn't beneath her anymore and she had abandoned the pillows that sat above her head. She didn't move from her curled up position on the bed as she looked at Jacob lazily, "What are you doing?" Putting it together, she realized he was probably searching for a shirt. She shook her head, "Don't... I like you better with it off," She teased.

She closed her eyes again and sighed, "Besides, those shirts are probably far too small for you now."

Jacob let out a sigh, before he climbed back on the bed. He put Elliot on top of him, "yah but I don't think your sister would like it with me walking around without a shirt on. I would think I would get hit by her if I did," he laughed a little at the thought.

Elliot smiled as Jacob moved her on top of him as he climbed back onto the bed. She looked at him through her eyelashes, "Well, Savannah isn't here."

She kissed him and laughed a little before placing her face on the pillow beside him, "So I highly doubt she'll be hitting you."

She laughed a little and kissed his ear, "I could go shirtless."

Jacob shook his head, "I don't want you to move I'm content with how you are positioned on me right now." He slowly lifted her face, and kissed her. Before he broke it to catch his breath, he put his forehead against hers, he felt her hands move around his torso.

Elliot laughed a little and allowed him to move her head. She kissed him happily, her hands moving to his chest. After awhile, they slowly moved down his torso before gliding back up to his chest. They kept moving at a slow pace as Jacob broke the kiss to breath. She smiled at him, "I love you."

Jacob touched her cheek, "I love you too." He stopped one of her hands, he brought her palm up to his lips and kissed it. Then he remembered, he pulled out a small black box. He had found it in an abandoned jewelry store, it was a ring it had a diamond in the middle of it it wasn't much. But it was something, he put it in her hand, and curled her fingers around the box.

Elliot smiled at him as watched kiss the palm of her hand. A moment later, he seemed slightly distracted as he grabbed something, a box, and placed it in her hand, wrapped her fingers around it. She looked at him, slightly confused, as she reached out with her other hand and opened the box. Her eyes widened at the sight of the wedding ring. She looked at him again, "I-I thought you were going to wait... until after war?"

Jacob smiled, "really the report I got last night from my brother, was that the war is over they managed to destroy the oil and then find the main command center of where the robots had been controlled, they destroyed that too. They said as soon as the place was destroyed, the robots shut down." He touched her cheek, "I asked myself why not give her the ring the day after the war is over? Well looks like I answered that question."

Elliot grinned at put the ring box on the nightstand. She pulled Jacob into a deep kiss. When she pulled away, she grinned at him and slipped the ring onto her finger, grateful that it fit her. She looked back at him and kissed him again, "Well, then that would be a yes."

She rolled over and pulled him on top of her. She grinned at him and kissed him a third time, "We really survived this thing, huh."

Sure, they were broken and bruised but god was she happy. She wrapped his arm around him, "Couldn't have told me any of this last night?"

Jacob laughed a little, I didn't want to wake you I got the report in middle of the night." He smiled at her, "we survived this thing even though were bruised and beaten. We survive this, war all the way through even though we might be hurt but we survived the war. It's over now that, we can finally start our own lives together."

Elliot laughed and wrapped her legs around him as well, "Did we not already start our lives together? I mean, we've dating for sometime now," She teased.

She just wanted to be close to him. Not in the way she had the night previous, when she needed him, when she was to broken to be without him. However, in a way that she just wanted to be with him, appreciate him, and love him. A hand found his hair as they kissed again.

Jacob kissed her back, his arm slid down to her waist and wrapped around her waist. His other hand found her hair, as he kissed her. He broke the kiss to breath, "we can live our lives fully now without looking over our shoulders every now and then, we might be beaten but we can survive the nightmares."
