Charlize Cousineau

"Does it truly make a difference how you are alive my child? You are alive now, isn't that enough?"

Age: 21

Gender: Female

Race: Human/Cyborg

Magic: Charlize has found use in Elemental magic for refueling. With the price of gasoline these days, she really needed to find an alternative to buying it straight from the stations. She is still learning, and often fails in the practice, but her determination is high!

Equipment: Well, she is part robot, so her own body is a piece of personal equipment. Titanium structure for the most part, some used car parts here and there, a melted down children's swing set too!

Personality: Fun Loving. Adventurous. Silly. Independent. Hopeless Romantic. Restless.

History: Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. Tick..Tick...

The sound of the upstairs kitchen clock had drove the man completely insane. He had murdered his daughter in a fit of rage, gave her a warning shot straight into her chest. "Charlize?" the man whimpered, leaning over his only daughter. She wasn't breathing, her tone was disappearing, her skin becoming ice. "Charli, Charli speak to me." The man became angered, blaming her for sneaking into the house, and for sneaking out of the house in the first place. Why would she have done that? She knew it was wrong, she knew it was not the right type of thing to do in the neighborhood they lived in. Why?

Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. The clock kept on.

The man ripped the clock off the wall, as it continued to tick in his hands. "I must save her!" he sobbed, putting the clock underneath his arm as he approached his daughter's limp body. He took her by the arm and dragged her. Her blood soaked the wooden floors in a deep crimson line. The man pulled and dragged, sobbing. He let her body hit every basement step as he pulled her down into his workshop, the area where he fixed junk items, and found refuge when his wife had left him 10 years ago. He leaned down and hoisted her body up onto the table with all his might, his tears and harsh words filling the dim room, and the next door neighbor's bedroom.

Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. The clock kept on.

"Damn you, you son of bitch!" the man yelled at the clock, throwing it across the room into a pile of his hoarded trash. He ran over to his tool shelf, grabbing saws, drills and parts alike. He was insane. He was desperate. He was a genius. An hour went by at the very least as he worked and worked with his daughter, his only child. Her body made up of machine parts, but her face remained the same, her slate grey eyes stared back at him as he worked. "God damn you Charlize!" he screamed, why did she keep staring at him? The neighbors became more curious, and called the police. "I think Charles Cousineau is drinking again." they said, and the dispatcher knew. They had been there many times before. Eventually police swarmed the house. Arresting Charles for the murder of his daughter. The smell of whiskey on his lips. The smell of fear on his heart. "What kind of sick bastard would do this?" the chief asked, in the living room of the Cousineau house. The silence was the answer. No one knew.

Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. The clock kept on.

Charlize could hear the clock in the corner of the room. Her eyes opened as the pain swept over her body. "Help" her voice rasped out, barely a whisper. "Help me." she called. The sound of the clock overpowering her voice, even though it was just a small sound. Charli stared at the ceiling in the dim basement, "Was this what death felt like?" she had no clue. Her body parts felt heavy, her memories hazy and incomplete. She found enough strength to knock a tool off the table. It was enough to alert the police upstairs, and before she knew it she was being rushed to the hospital. She didn't last long in the hospital before she was taken away by a man under the influence of Phillip Rifna, human relations leader with The Order. She belonged there now, away from normal humans, away from the past she knew. In time she began to learn elemental magic, not very well, but she was learning.

In what felt like a debt to The Order for saving her, she pledged she would help any way she could, and takes orders from whoever gives them to her. During the times before the rise of Joshua, Charlize has worked in the bar, cleaning up, sometimes taking orders, and doing some of the heavy lifting when all else has been done. She hasn't heard much to anything about Joshua, but she is prepared to do what it takes to keep all humans out harm.

Analise Marie Vitali

Age: 17

Personality: Feisty. Outgoing. Happy-Go-Lucky. Sarcastic. Adventurous. Goofy.

History: Analise was born of Italian descent into a upper middle class family. Her mother and father were both employed in banking, and she never had too much hardship growing up. She is the youngest of 3 children; her two older brothers: Antonio and Anthony. Twins, and both quite the troublemakers. Growing up Ana spent quite the time with her brothers, following them around like a lost puppy. They protected and kept her safe, but also brought her into the world of vices while mom and dad were away at work, or sleeping soundly in bed.

Meeting Caylee and Ivy were the best things that could have ever happened to the girl. The two really balanced her out, and without the two she wouldn't know what her life might be like. It was hard seeing Caylee leave for her vacation, but she knew the girl would have fun, and she wished her just that. Tying a friendship bracelet around her wrist she kissed her gently on the cheek, "See you soon babe. Don't do anything I WOULD do!" were the last words she had said before Caylee left, and she hope wouldn't be the last.

A party here and there, a drink here and there to match. Ana couldn't keep track, and without Caylee and Ivy to keep her straight, she almost didn't care. There wasn't too many memories of that night besides the rancid taste of vomit in her mouth the next day. "Ivy, I don't feel so good. Come take care of me?" Ana texted helplessly; and of course Ivy delivered.

The two were together when the tragedy of Caylee's family reached them. They were highly upset about it, and wish they could reach out to Caylee to protect her and take her away from everything that was wrong with this world's path of destiny. "I can't imagine how she's feeling Ana." Ivy said as they laid together in Ana's bed, the third night they had slept over at each other's house since hearing of the accident. "I-" Ana started before her throat started to close, she was going to throw up. Rushing to the en-suite bathroom, Analise threw up heavily, dry heaving as her petite body trembled on the tiled floor. "Ana?" Ivy called through the door, "Are you okay Ana?"

"I don't know." she choked out, "but something is wrong."

Ivy Cheyanne Kolt

Age: 17

Personality: Calm. Friendly. Level-Headed. Intelligent. Thoughtful. Positive

History: Ivy was born of Irish descent to a upper middle class family. Her father is a dentist, and her mother works at the spa along with Levi's. Ivy is an only child, and that is the way she likes it. When not chasing Caylee and Ana around town, she often would fall into a land of fantasy in her books, writings, and sometimes artwork. Ivy has always been taught a good work and study ethic, being pushed by her parents to exceed in everything in life. One could say they push her a little too hard to be perfect, but she takes it in stride.

Meeting Caylee and Ana was a bit on the stressful side at first, with Ana being the 'let's go do this right here, right now' type- Ivy was sure thankful Caylee was there to help soften the edges. Ivy admired and cared deeply for the two of them, and even though they were all so young, she often thought about where they all would be in years to come. She giggled at the thought of them in a nursing home cruising about trying to pick up hot babes.

It hit Ivy hard when the news came home about Caylee and her family. Ivy found refuge at Ana's house often, as the two tried to keep strong for their friend. It wasn't that Ivy's parents didn't care about what was going on, but they felt there were more things in life that Ivy needed to be focused on; like calculus homework. With her hand tightly wrapped around Ana's, and in the deep dark of the night should reveal her thoughts more easily. "I can't imagine how she's feeling Ana." she mentioned, her brows creasing on her pale forehead.

Before she could get a response, Ana had hopped up and made a straight line to the bathroom, the sound of vomit escaping her, and making Ivy cringe. She waited a few moments before getting up and walking to the door, "Ana?" she questioned, "Ana are you okay?" she was concerned, but figured it was probably the stress of the situation. It wasn't rare for Ana to overreact, but this time seemed different.

It was a week or so later that Ivy finally encouraged Ana to go see a doctor. Waiting, and waiting in the hallway, Ivy kicked her boots on the ground as she worried. Why was all this happening right now? It was going to be the start of their senior year; this was supposed to be the happiest years of their life right? "Ivy.." Ana interrupted the train of thought in the young girl's head as she darted her attention to her, getting up, stumbling a little as she did so, "What did they say Ana? Is everything going to be okay?"

Ana stared, her green eyes vacant and empty. The tears welled up slowly, and then all at once in a heavy sob.

"I-I-'m Pregnant."

Age: 38

Friendly to everyone.
Easy going/rides the wave of life slowly but surely.

Negative Traits
Alcoholic.
Promiscuous
Aloof in conversation.

Commitment and trust issues with relationships and careers.

Biography: Ashenport had been Montana's home since she was born. She would probably die there, though God willing, she prayed she wouldn't. The problem with Ashenport was that everyone pretty much knew everyone and no matter how hard you tried to keep a secret, someone somewhere knew the truth. If they didn't know the truth, they at least found a way to entertain the lie far enough to where it replaced the truth.

Growing up Mo' had a pretty easy going life being the youngest of the Crowley children, light farming, helping her parents, and the chore here and there took up most of her life. It wasn't until her father had a heart attack that she knew that life was truly a double edged sword. The death had been hard on her mother and her, Morrison hadn't seemed too concerned about it through Montana's eyes, but only until she grew older she understood as to why he had to be strong for the whole family. When their mother had pledged to leaving, Montana begged and pleaded with her mother to bring her with:

"I won't take any space! Please take me with, please don't leave me here." she sobbed.

Her mother could not bare to take any piece of Ashenport with her, and that included her only daughter. Morrison became both a father figure, and a reason for rebellion to Montana, and that's where life began to get hard. Morrison and Montana did not often see eye to eye on work ethic. He wanted everything to be done right there and right now, while Montana could wait a few days...weeks, or even months to start and finish a project. It drove Morrison crazy, and Montana quite enjoyed doing just that after awhile. "You're not Dad, Morrison! You can't tell me what to do all the damn time!" she would say as a young teenager living in his home. Boy, did that drive him up the wall! During these times, Montana had fell into the wrong crowd of kids. By all means Ashenport wasn't a crime infested city, but as far as bad kids go- Mo was one of them. Partying every weekend and staying out late every weekday became the norm for the young girl during her youth.

When the death of her mother reached town, Montana was barely phased. Some of the women gossiped it was suicide, some gossiped that it was murder. Montana gossiped that she wasn't her real mother anyways, or she would have taken her with her. Either way, life moved on and as Morrison grew into more of a man, Montana was stuck in her childish ways, taking advantage of the situation she was in, and not doing much to change it. Montana was young when Morrison met his first wife, she was genuinely happy for him, though her attitude towards him had not changed. They still welcomed her into their home with no hesitation and when his wife became pregnant, they still had no trouble giving the teen a roof over her head. It hadn't occurred to her at the time, but now she was very thankful for the generosity and kindness her brother had shown her.

Montana had fallen in love with Audrey the moment she was born. Mo would lean over her bassinet and stare into the big brown eyes of the little girl, putting her finger down so she could wrap her tiny hands around it. She was so full of life, while Montana lacked so much of it. "You're going to make it out of here sweetheart, I promise you." Mo would whisper caressing the young girl's cheek. If anyone knew Montana they'd say Audrey was the light of her life. In the tragic and sudden events of Morrison's wife's death, things took a turn for the worse in the Crowley family. Tensions ran high in the household, and everyday became a battle between brother and sister. Montana took a bitter turn for the worse, getting into more trouble at school, and around the town. She was a complete mess.

The moment Montana turned 18 she had to leave the house, not because she had to, but because she needed to. She couldn't bare to live with her brother anymore, though it pained her to leave- she knew it was for the best. Doing odd jobs around town she managed enough money for a small place in town. Her life was getting back on track, she met a man, fell in love, and became pregnant with a child in a matter of years. Montana was glowing in happiness, she was steady and finally becoming a young independent woman.

When the man she loved turned around and walked out on her. That was strike one.
When the bank told her she was losing her house and was bound to become homeless. That was strike two.
When the hospital informed her abnormal bleeding was because of a miscarriage. That was strike three.

Montana had gone from the top of the world to lower than dirt in a matter of years. Drinking, drug use, sex- became her normal day routine. Her reputation around town was split into two categories; Home wrecker or Nice piece of ass. Montana preferred the second one, but the first one seemed to happen more often in the small town. Reaching 30 things slowed down a bit again for Mo, she wanted to settle down and have a family, but no one really wanted to wife someone with such a reputation. That's why she needed to get out of town and leave that reputation behind her.

For several years since her 30th birthday Montana has been saving up some money to leave Ashenport. She still drinks, does drugs, and has sex on the occasion, but it definitely has slowed down a bit since her teen and younger years. Currently she rents a room in the Hotel as permanent residence. She is trying to rebuild a good relationship with her brother, and tries to have a healthy relationship with her niece- Audrey. Visiting them both at least twice a week up to their home in most northern part of town.

Nightmare: Montana's nightmare has visited her many of times during a drunken stupor. It is a young woman with a mangled face, unrecognizable because of the contortion of it and the amounts of blood dripping from the gashes. She walks slowly and her limbs appear to be badly broken or injured. The sound is the worst part of the nightmare as the sound of bone cracking and a gurgling sound escaping her lips. The nightmare has never gotten close enough to Montana for her to hear what the woman is saying, but she could swear that it's crying for help.

Evangeline Guiliani

Age: 25.
Gender: Female.
Height: 5ft 2.
Weight: 125lbs.

Personality: Considerate. Free Spirit. Stubborn. Family Oriented. Night Owl. Creative. Technophobe.

Biography: Evangeline was your typical girl next door. The Midwest sweetheart teen growing up. The girl you wanted to take home to momma. She lived in a small town where everyone knew everyone and gossip was the only thing that was worth talking about. When she wasn't doing household chores, she was outside with her dark hair flying in the wind, her smile lines deeply carved into her sun kissed skin.

One day while painting, the storm clouds moved in quicker than usual. "Damn it." Evangeline growled, trying to grab her supplies without ruining her work. The sky rumbled with thunder, a huge lightening strike lit up the sky and the heavy rain started to pour. Evangeline looked up, and let out a huge laugh. This was life, and no matter how bad it got, she found happiness. Her teeth chattered as she quickly began walking back to the house her parents had raised her in.

That is when she met Keith. Keith had been the guy in high school where every girl within a 10 mile radius had a crush on, and there he was staring at Eva. "Need an umbrella miss?" he called from his porch, as if the heavens themselves had opened up and spoke through his perfectly shaped lips. Evangeline stopped and turned towards Keith. He had grown more handsome since high school and it was apparent as the blood raced to her cheeks that she had fell over the Keith curse. "Yes sir!" Evangeline called, biting her lip afterwards and shaking her head as he approached her with the umbrella.

"Yes sir!? I must look so stupid..." she thought to herself as he reached her, placing the umbrella over the two of them as he continued to walk her home. The silence was broken by his warm voice, "That is mighty pretty." he commented to the painting, and Evangeline was sold. They talked the whole walk home. He wouldn't stop making her laugh. Several bouquet of lilies, two movie dates, and three months later Keith was proposing with the biggest ring Eva had seen this side of the river.

Evangeline moved right in to Keith's home, and was the talk of the town for a few weeks. "What would he want with her?" they sneered between glances, as they walked by. Evangeline paid no notice, she was madly in love with Keith. The catch of the town, the muse behind the beautiful paintings she began producing and displaying all around the house. "What do you think of this one baby?" Evangeline would call from the room she had made into her studio. "Baby?" she'd call with no answer.

Keith wasn't home from work yet, late again for the 25th time that month. Evangeline's eyes looked up at the clock. The ticking was loud, invading every corner of the room. "He must be getting me something special this time, a gift maybe." she smiled speaking loudly over the sound of the clock, imagining Keith coming through the door with a huge present for her.

"I'm so sorry I've been late all these days my little peanut he'll say!" Evangeline mumbled.

"I've been planning a huge surprise for you my one true love he'll say!" Evangeline screamed running to the clock and ripping it off the wall.

Keith came into the kitchen, and it was the last thing Evangeline remembers from that night. Or at least that is what she told the nurses at Lovecraft Asylum. Many more memories remained from that night, but she didn't want to recall them to these nurses, these doctors. They just didn't understand! She had been admitted not too long after the incident by the local sheriff's office, as it seemed most appropriate than sitting in the jail cell.

OID: Evangeline's universe is plagued with technology, as this is the trigger that caused her to kill her Husband, Keith. As one can imagine, the clock, cellphone text messages and phone calls to his mistress, and the different purchases and sites visited on their computer caused her OID madness. Technology items turn into monsters and make very LOUD noises. Screeching noises. Even watches seem to tick at deafening pitches.

Monster: Keith is Evangeline's personal boogeyman. He appears in the kind male who tends to get too close. The monsters in normal everyday appliances appear as normal women but soon become very disfigured women; missing limbs, sunken eyes and features, claws, screaming voices, demons of sorts. They leave her disoriented with the loud noises, and she cant escape them unless her sight and hearing senses are blocked by something.

Key: Evangeline needs to find her roots back to her painting days. Recreating her painting from that night would unleash her from the demons. She needs to find someone who gives her the flame inside her heart to produce the painting that she had created that night that her OID was born from.

Preferences
Loves: Outside. Quiet. Hot baths.
Likes: Dessert. Working with her hands. Hugs.
Dislikes: Being told what to do. Ketchup.
Hates: Loud noises. Technology. Keith.

Voice Audition: I have a little bit of a cold right now, so my character's voice might change just a tad bit when I get over the cold! But my monologue is from Heavy Rain- also where I kind of got the idea from my character from- so I hope you enjoy~

Name: Analise Lombardi

Age: 45

Family: Lombardi

Relation to Godfather: Wife

Role in family: Mother first, work second. Ana often does small jobs around the town when her family needs her, but is usually home keeping the house straight. When the police come a knocking; she is the one to hide contraband and offer a cup of coffee within seconds of the door bell ringing.

Personality: Protective. Classy. Selfless. Independent. Loyal to her husband, family, and friends.

Biography: Growing up in the coastal city of Pozzuoli, Italy, Ana never once had dreams outside her quiet life. Her father humbly made a living as a fisherman, and her mother spent her time raising Analise and her several siblings. It wasn't until Analise was sixteen years old that she met the man she would now call her husband, her one love. He was different than most boys, he had goals, ambitions, and plans. Despite her mother's warnings, the two would sneak away to their own hiding place and talk to one another until the sun went down and rose the next day. When he smiled, it gave her heart a reason to beat. When he spoke, her ears only had reason to listen to his voice. When he held her, she knew not what a life without him was.

If you couldn't guess, it wasn't long before the two were wed. Alas Ana's husband did not see how life in their small town could give them a better chance. Sure, he was happy here with his bride, but he wanted more for them. He wanted more. Within months, the two were packed up and on a boat to the United State of America. Hand in hand, they looked upon the Statue of Liberty and wept. Dreams came true here, their life together started here. It wasn't long before they reached shore and Ana was swept into the arms of an older gentleman wearing a fedora, "Ana, this is my father." he said in his soft Italian tongue, "He left my mother many years ago to come to New York searching for a better life, and he really has found it. Trust me my love, we have a real life here." Ana's petite body was put down as she stared into the spitting image of her own husband. How could a man leave his wife for this dirty place? She wondered, concerned and puzzled all at one time. She didn't say much about the matter, just nodded and followed her husband's lead her slender hand once again wrapped tightly around his.

Years passed as the family name became larger, Ana's first son; Jones was born. She was obsessed with the small boy, giving him everything he could ask for, but also giving him a strict guidance as not to spoil him. It was clear he was his father's son, and as Jones grew, the two would often be seen leaving early in the morning and never coming back. It was just a bond Ana could never obtain; a relation between father and son. However, she knew he was in good hands, and didn't think much of it. It wasn't until 18 years later at the death of her father-in-law that everything came into full swing. This time was very hard on them all, not only the loss of a man that seemed to always take care of them; but a new job to do- the family business. It was from then on Analise knew her duty. Truly it wasn't the life they would have had if they stayed back in Italy, but it was their life now, and she would do anything to keep it the way it was.

Evangeline Delvine

✗Gender: Female

✗Age: 23

✗Personality: Independent. Sarcastic. Free Spirited. Adventurous. Flirtatious. Hot Tempered.

✗History/Biography: "Momma, when is Papa coming home?"

Evangeline tugged at the corner of her mother's apron. The large, strong woman stared out of the kitchen window with a blank and empty stare. There was no reply. There never would be. It had been an entire year since Evangeline's father had gone to sea. Rumor had it that he made some true riches and left his family behind, off to find something better- if you could call it that. Some claimed he had just died a watery death, like most men did. It wouldn't be the first time news traveled back to their small town of another taken.

A few years before that the Delvine family was happy and complete. Mr. Delvine would go on his trips, come home after many of months with money, treasures, and exciting stories. Evangeline would crawl into her father's strong arms, her large grey eyes looking at him in complete awe as he showcased his life before her. He was her hero, and she was his princess.

Years and years passed and Evangeline got older, the stories still remained in the whispered slurs. "Did you hear her father left the two women alone to fend for themselves? I heard he has a wife and child in every city from here past Rafelia!" These stories brought only anger to Evangeline. She had a feeling her father was alive, and nothing would stop her from proving it. Often being spotted with and around the boys, she spent a lot of time learning to swim, sail, fish, and fight. Though her mother didn't say so directly, Evangeline could feel in her mother's icy stares that she didn't want her only daughter, her only family member left to even think about stepping foot near the water ever again. But time after time and day after day, Evangeline swam, sailed, fished, and fought.

It wasn't a huge surprise when Mrs. Delvine passed away. She was tired, her heart was broken, her will to live was gone. Eva took it upon herself to make a living, taking up jobs here and there to support herself and make her mother rest in her grave easily. That was until she was given the chance to be a cook upon an outgoing ship, boy.. would her mother be thrashing that night! Visiting the cemetery one last time before her departure Evangeline begged for forgiveness, "Momma.. I know you never talked to me after Papa's death. But, I think I know what you wanted to say after all these years.. I love you too, I promise you I will be safe."

And with that, she took to sea.

Isabella Roma

Gender: Female.

Age: 15.

Grade: Junior.

Personality: Feisty. Creative. Open Minded. Sarcastic. Humorous. Loyal.

History: "When you grow up Isabella, what do you want to be?" The question came across her mother's lips like any concerned parent. "A turtle." the young girl replied, her big, bright eyes gleaming with joy. "You can't be a turtle Isabella, that is impossible." her mother discouraged, shaking her head. "Nothing is impossible. I'm going to be a turtle" Isa replied, determined to show her mother what life was really about.

Fast forward 10 years, 5 schools, 8 homes, and 7 stepfathers later, Isabella had not become a turtle, but she did escape her shell. Growing up Isabella was an easy going kid, her father hadn't been in her life much but he seemed like an okay guy when he was around. Her mother had always been there, working hard, trying to do what seemed like the best for herself, and sometimes Isabella. The constant moving wasn't very helpful for the young girl's growth, but hey- if it pays the bills, it pays the bills.

Isa found refuge in her artwork, drawing, photography, painting, the works. It was in her art she could be anything, she could create anything.

On the eve of her 15th birthday her mother announced she had fallen in love once again, and that they were to be moving, as to be closer to the man's work. "Great." Isabella spat out, packing up her belongings once again. "Isabella, I promise this will be the last time. I promise." her mother assured her, her petite frame barely taking up the door way of Isa's empty room. "Mmmhmm." she mumbled. It was the last time every time.

Sitting in the new room of the unfamiliar house that belonged to an unfamiliar man, Isa held a stale cupcake to her lips. "Happy Birthday to me." she sighed, taking a bite. Closing her eyes she wished this year would be different, that this year wouldn't be another repeat of the last. Eating the rest of the cupcake, she paged through the informational brochure. "I guess turtles can live in lakes." she thought to herself, reading the title of the high school again in her head. "Maybe this won't be so bad after all."

Evette Rochotti

Age:
20

Gender:
Female

Position:
Patient

Diagnosis:
Agoraphobia & Acute Insomnia.

Personality:
Evette. Never quick to anger, raise her voice or throw her fists. She is often caught staring whilst over thinking things. This could very well be one of the reasons she is in the position she is in, and trust me she's thought about that as well. It doesn't take much to make her cry as she is a bit on the sensitive side. She does not get bored easily due to the many nights awake and inside, she has found ways to entertain herself quite quickly.

Other:
Has taught herself how to paint, and quite enjoys doing just that.

Appearance:
Evette has an Italian background, she could get very tan if she allowed herself to go outside, but because of many years indoors she has became quite a soft peach color. Her eyes are large and a bright hazel color that almost seem golden in the right lighting. She's quite small in height (5ft 1). but gained quite a bit of weight in the years she stayed home and didn't do much. Her hair is long and is shaded in a deep dark brown that is often pulled into a big messy bun on top of her head, but when she is feeling adventurous she likes to let it down. She wears scrubs comfortably, and doesn't mind getting a little paint on them here and there.

History:
"If a tree falls in the forest does it make a sound my love?" Evette's mother asked her daughter as she sat upon her cushioned lap. Evette's eyebrows furrowed upon her forehead as she thought. The young girl was five years old at the time, and her mother often gave her these questions to make her think. "Are there squirrels inside?" Eve responded, as her mother let out a loud laugh, "Perhaps my love, perhaps." Perhaps was a word deeply implanted upon the tongue of Eve, the word was used in all situations, "Did you have a good time at school today?" "Perhaps." "Do you want ice cream for dessert?" "Perhaps." "Did the murder of your mother change you?"

"Perhaps."

Eve was 16 at the time of the occurrence. The two were living together happily in a small apartment on the not so great part of town. Her mother had raised her wonderfully despite being alone. Her father after all was a non-existent part in both of their lives from birth and everyday hence forth. "I'm going to go grab the mail Eve, I'll be right back." her mother called from the small kitchenette as the young girl worked on her homework from the one bedroom the two shared. "Alright!" she called without another thought. Suddenly a large thud and a barrage of blood curdling screams echoed in the hallways. The scream was jolting and familiar to Evette, the scream belonged to her mother.

Not even stopping to lock the door behind her Eve sprinted down the flight of stairs, tripping over her own feet she only imagined the worst had come. It indeed had. There her mother laid in a puddle of her own thick red blood, a gun shot to the head. The cause unknown, but often thought and rethought over in the thoughts of her one and only daughter. Evette broke down into a mental state of mind that no one could really explain. She grabbed her small mother and hoisted her up the flights of stairs and brought her back into their apartment. Sitting her up on the couch the young girl climbed onto her mother's lap, her clothing seeping up crimson life that once filled her mother. Evette did the only thing she could do, she sobbed uncontrollably.

It wasn't long before the police came, did their business and brought Evette back home. She urged the police that her father would be home from his job soon, and that she would have them call them when he did. Reluctantly they left, and of course received no phone call there after. Evette would and could not leave the 4 walls of the apartment. Friends came and went, only getting promise or excuses from the very young girl. It wasn't until the year's rent was overdue that the higher authorities were involved, truancy officer and state officer alike had means of getting this girl the help she needed, but there was no use.

How can anyone force a bird out of a cage when the bird has removed its own wings?

By 18, Evette had found her ways around things. She took online classes, found jobs she could do from home, and even had people do mundane things as her grocery shopping or bringing her, her mail everyday. It wasn't until her father found her that it became a problem. Evette doesn't quite know how he found her, it might have been the story in the newspaper of her mother's death, or a gossip around the friends that her parent's shared, but her father finally showed up. At first she couldn't believe it, "Who are you and what the hell do you want?" she called through the door. It wasn't until she looked through the peep hole that she could even begin to grasp what was going on. Her father had finally came for her. It wasn't quite the relationship she had hoped for, as her father had one thing in mind. "I'm going to get you some help." were his parting words.

You wouldn't think the man of said history would be so persistent, but he was. The next day she was shipped off to the asylum and has been there ever since.

Name: Vivienne Peck

Gender: Female

Birthday: Summer 2

Age: 17

Role: Chicken Farmer

Likes: Chickens. Sweets. Adventures. Being Outside. Swimming. Napping.

Dislikes: Eggs. Bugs. Bossy People. Waking Up Early. Tomatoes. Winter.

Living Location: Peck Ranch.

Personality: Witty. Hard Working. Adventurous. Caring. Family Oriented. Spunky. Curious.

Story: The Peck family had been in this town for as long as anyone could remember. Antonio's late father had established a Ranch up near the base of the mountains for people to trade and buy livestock as they pleased. At his passing, Antonio took the business into his own hands with the help of his stern but generous wife; Eva. It was hard the first few years, but once Antonio got the hang of things business couldn't be better and the Peck family couldn't be happier. At least that is what everyone in town thought. Behind closed doors, the two desperately wanted a child, year after year they prayed to the Goddess to bring them a child. But their prayers were not answered.

Finally Antonio traveled to the Goddess with his finest chicken, his finest cow, and his finest horse. Offering the Goddess these gifts, he asked once more for her to bless them with a child. One year later, the wish had came true, and into the world came Vivienne. Vivienne Peck. Granted, they really wanted a boy, but a little girl would have to do.

Years went by as the girl grew, learning everything there was to know about the farm, being a lady (though she sometimes doesn't always enjoy those things), and just appreciating the land. Vivi's father and mother had raised her well, and she began her own little business running a chicken farm down the road from her parents. There she collected and sold eggs to the people in town, raking in quite the profit for herself here and there. Mostly she just enjoyed the idea of having something to do, mostly. For now Vivienne just lives day to day, hoping someone will come along and bring some adventure into her life.

Age: 18
Sex: Female
Race: Fairy
Occupation: Healer in training of sorts.
Location: Deep in the woods of Padma.

Likes: Sweets. Pranks. Insects. Talking. Working With Her Hands.
Dislikes: Rain (Makes it hard to fly). Bullies. Loud Noises. Laziness. Centaurs.

Years In Lhivoria: Her whole life.

Personality: Care free. Feisty. Helpful. Stubborn. Childish. Free Spirited. Hot Tempered.

Biography: In the midst of the summer heat a large Venus Fly Trap grew by the roots of a Sycamore tree. It feasted on a few succulent insects before catching the attention of a few eyes “Come quickly, come quickly!” a young man called to his wife, “Our child is soon to be born!” he called triumphantly. This would be the birth of the couple’s 15th child, but each we’re more precious than the last (or so Dia’s father told her). The sycamore family gathered around with eager eyes as the plant opened up and revealed a small fairy of not even 5 inches.
Alas Dionaea was born.

News traveled quickly between families of the new addition to Padma. Each fairy family was respectfully named after a tree that grew in the forest. The lineage of the Sycamore wasn’t as expanse as some of the others, but what they lacked in numbers they made up for positivity and knowledge of insects and healing herbs.

Dia was not too fond of learning from the beginning. She was always restless and wanting to explore the world on her own. “Don’t touch that Dia” her mother would warn as Dia put her hands close to the fangs of a recluse spider. “He’s got something stuck in there ma!” she whined as the spider looked at her in awe with its several eyes. “He’s a trickster, like most arachnids. They will weave you into your web and eat you for supper before you blink an eye!” she exclaimed, gathering the last of the supplies she needed from the spider’s nest. “Come along Dia, we don’t want to disturb him anymore.” Dia gave a friendly wave to the spider as she scurried along behind the tough woman.

Reaching adult hood was a much different story. Though she had more freedom, she also had more responsibilities and often had to take care of the younger children and teach them the things she once was taught. “Now.. I don’t know if you guys know this or not.” Dia started leaning in towards the small children, they returned the gesture wide eyed, “I wrangled myself a bird once.” Some gasps could be heard in the crowd and one child from the Oak family began sobbing.

This was your typical teaching lesson with Dia in charge.

When the letter came from the king to gather recruits for the battle of labyrinth; Dia was both interested and angry. The fairies tended to keep to themselves, and not go out beyond the forest, so much of Lhivoria was a mystery to Dia and her people. She wondered why the humans had even bothered to contact them; Was it a trap? Was it some sort of trick? The questions fluttered along between the fairies until it was time to make a decision, and Dia was first to sign up.

Reason: A little bit. Mostly Dia just wants some adventure in her life, and because she is young and able- she has decided to go for her village. She would most likely use the stone to make sure her family and her people were taken care of. She doesn’t have need for fame nor fortune.

Voice Sample: Aww, come on! Let’s go already!

A Wᴏᴜɴᴅᴇᴅ Dᴇᴇʀ Lᴇᴀᴘs Tʜᴇ Hɪɢʜᴇsᴛ

▸ Age: 18

▸ Gender: Female

▸ Time/Date: Sunrise, Autumn, Somewhere around a now overcome with foliage- Minnesota, United States, Earth.

▸ Ability: Speed and Camouflage.

▸ Personality: Timid. Peaceful. Independent. Respectful. Judgmental. Quiet. Stubborn. Powerful.

▸ Biography: Sika comes from a time when the Earth was reborn into it's mother nature powered state.

With overpopulation, pollution, and nuclear war a daily occurrence: the Earth was not doing too well in terms of health. Eventually, most humans were killed off from either another member of society or mother nature. The lands were flooded with powerful storms, replenishing the earth and the fauna that desperately needed to flourish. With most harmful factors gone, finally the planet was able to replenish herself and rebuild herself.

The remaining humans that survived during this rebuilding phase adapted to the Earth's commands and changes. They grew abilities and morphed into peaceful creatures while developing certain skills to survive in the world that they now resided in. They only knew of the Earth's past in tales and passed down stories from their elders as well as the last standing structures scattered through the world. It was not odd for families to take protection in these abandoned structures for protection.

Sika was born into a family of humans that originated from the Midwest, United states. The local landscape consisted of many trees, natural lakes, rivers, and very extreme seasons. It made most sense to develop deer abilities to survive in these conditions against not only other predators and families; but the weather. She consisted of a large herd of over 30 members, but her immediate family only consisted of her and two parents. She was old enough now to start her own family, so she did not rely on her parents too much anymore besides survival and advice among other things.

Whilst foraging through the forest that morning for breakfast, Sika saw the large portal and was quite frightened by it. She approached it quietly but dared not go in. She moved away and continued collecting the harvests that Autumn had brought them, but her mind could not escape the creature she had seen. Eventually her curiosity took hold as she approached the portal again, reaching out a hand to touch it..

She was sucked in promptly.

Nᴏᴛʜɪɴɢ ɪs ᴍɪsᴇʀᴀʙʟᴇ ᴜɴʟᴇss ʏᴏᴜ ᴛʜɪɴᴋ ɪᴛ sᴏ

Age: 23

Demon: Misery.

Personality: Resourceful. Party Girl. Expressive. Talkative. Apathetic. Prodding.

Biography: Gianna (sometimes nicknamed as Gigi) spent her early years in a very conservative Chinese household. She kept herself busy whilst growing up, with multiple after school activities, homework assignments, music recitals, and extra chores at home. In other words; Gianna was quite the homebody overachiever. Her parents were only just slightly proud as their one and only "sorta" talented child became Valedictorian of her high school graduating class of over 1,400 students, and was granted several scholarships to high qualifying universities across the United States.

Early to rise and early to bed, makes a girl healthy.. but socially dead.

Gigi found this statement to be true quickly out as she started into her university of choice. Her three dorm mates often ignored her and just assumed that the girl would not want to go out with them even if they asked. They never ask. Depression, loneliness, and anxiety overwhelmed Gigi a few semesters in to her degree. It was at this time, Gianna began thinking more morbid about life's meaning and her self worth. She didn't know she was being monitored during the entire process. Gigi was the perfect shell for the demon. It sat and waited, watching her become so weak. When Gianna hit her lowest after a prank gone wrong, the demon took her cue and went inside the girl, and has been there ever since.

Quite perfectly the girl and the demon meshed together into a brand new Gigi. Though, for people that knew Gianna before the possession- knew she had became a totally different person. Speaking loudly to everyone, going to parties, drinking, skipping classes, sleeping around. She was the whole package deal. Gigi had absorbed the activities that once caused her to be an outcast, and used them to bring pain and torture to the people that dealt it.

And, boy... she is having fun!

I'ᴍ ɴᴏᴛ ᴀғʀᴀɪᴅ ᴏғ sᴘɪᴅᴇʀs. I'ᴠᴇ ʜᴀᴅ ᴡᴏʀsᴇ ɪɴ ᴍʏ ʙᴇᴅ.

Name: Hadley Webber

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Abilities: Shapeshifting into a spider.

Personality: Quick Witted. Crafty. Patient. Resourceful. Curious. Handy. Loves The Outdoors.

Biography: Hadley was cursed with her ability early on in life when she was happily playing outside. She was barely 5 years old when she found a crack in the side of old farm house (she lived somewhere in the Midwest) and decided to explore. Crouching down her small pudgy fingers infiltrated the crack and a sharp pain shot through her body. Tears formed in her eyes as she let out a wail. "DADDY!" she screamed to the man in the garage only a few feet away. Before her father could reach her the girl had shape shifted into a small spider. Her father came running, looking for her and had no luck finding her due to her situation.

Hadley was overwhelmed with panic and fear. She didn't know how to get back into her human form. Years went by as the girl learned to survive as a spider. Her parents deemed her kidnapped and searched until their last drop of hope was gone. Hadley found refuge in the corners of her now abandoned farm house. A perfect place for a spider. It wasn't until she was 12 that she became human once again. Through practice and determination she was able to make it back and forth between the two forms, but on occasion when she is upset or scared she reforms back into spider form and hides.

As her childhood home became on the demolition list, Hadley sought out for a new home and came across in her travels; The Orphanage.

Dᴏᴡɴ Tʜᴇ Hᴀᴛᴄʜ Wɪᴛʜᴏᴜᴛ A Sᴄʀᴀᴛᴄʜ

Age: 25

Gender: Female

Abilities: Sword swallowing and fire eating.

Personality: Flirtatious. Independent. Quirky. Easy Going. Sarcastic. Free Spirited.

Biography: Priscilla "The Pincushion" Rodriguez grew up in a very traditional Dominican household. Her father a strong business man, and her mother a housewife and stay at home mom, to Priscilla and her 5 older brothers. Cici was always a bit of the black sheep of her family, enjoying the morbid and macabre scene. Her parents on the other hand weren't too approving of Cici's ways, but tried to teach the woman to be independent and strong woman regardless of their own opinions.

After struggling through highschool and her first semester of college, Cici finally spoke to her parents seriously, "Mami, Papi.. I'm different than what you expected this princess to be. I need to go and spread my wings and find out where I fit in in this world." The words stung, but both her parents agreed, a happy strange daughter was always better than a miserable perfect one. They wished her luck on her journey, and hoped that their daughter would find happiness.

In a year Priscilla had learned the ability of sword swallowing, and dabbled in fire eating here and there. When Grigori had came to her town, she knew that this was her one and only chance to finally fit in some place, so she applied and was accepted with open arms by the family of beautiful freaks. She has been with Grigori's for about three years now, and is excited to continue working on her craft.

Name: Pearleane Pompaque

Age: 11

Gender: Female

House: Hufflepuff

Magical Heritage: Half-blood.

Appearance: The picture is a great start as to what Pearleane looks like. Though, that picture is of her a bit older. She had dark features (hair and eyes) and her skin tone is a soft cream color. However, she can tan very easily, and often receives a more olive tone during the warmer seasons because she prefers to be outside.

Biography/Personality: "A young woman always has three things with her, do you know what those things are my darling?" Pearleane looked up at her mother with her large almond shaped dark eyes, "Is the first one candy?" the girl questioned, her tummy grumbling as she watched her mother cook up dinner that night, a cackle came from the woman's lips, she wiped away her tears as she shook her head at her only daughter, "No, my darling you must have class, ass, and sass." Pearleane nodded, and repeated, "class, sass, and ass, momma I got it- now when is dinner?" The woman shook her head once more, "Not now my child, go play and I'll call you when it's done."

Pearleane was named after her great-grandmother on her very strictly pureblood mother's side. Her father (Frederick Pompaque) was a muggle and was only really around for Pearleane to be conceived. This may have gave Pearleane a bit of a prejudice against some muggles, but because of her kind and forgiving nature she tends to give everyone first and second chances. Pearleane's mother a pureblood (Claudia Wilhmer) single handedly raised the girl, and taught her to be hardworking, dedicated, and patient, even when things are overwhelming. It was no wonder the sorting hat placed her in Hufflepuff with no delay. Before going to Hogwarts she lived in a small one bedroom apartment with her mother, and didn't have too many glamorous things. Most if not all of her school supplies are second hand to her mother's.

The young girl has a bit of a sweet tooth, and has often been known to keep various sweets and snacks in her bag. Though it has gotten her a few odd stares and name calling from some of the more fit peers, she makes friend's pretty easily. Her loyalty is true and steady; once you find friendship in her, you have a friend for life.

Personal Items: A 7 inch Kneazle whiskers wand: Rosewood (Unyielding).

Special Gifts and Abilities: Pearleane excels in Herbology naturally, but has not found her true hidden talent quite yet. She is quite interested in Transfiguration and Divination.

Name:
Miss Barbara Greene.

Nickname:
Bambi is just fine with her.

Race:
Animal (Deer) in the Homelands.
Human via glamour in and around town.

Gender:
Female

Job:
During the normal work week Bambi makes a living as a helper at a florist shop in the city. On the weekends she uses her growing skills to maintain, grow, and sell plants of the smoking type to both fables and mundies. She gets more of an adrenalin rush out of her weekend gig, but the stability of a real 9-5 job the other days during the work week comforts her somewhat.

Personality:
Skittish. Nimble. Emotionally Withdrawn Unless Feeling Safe. Inconsistent. Curious.

Fable:
"Bambi was a roe deer fawn born in a thicket to a young doe in late spring one year. Over the course of the summer, her mother taught her about the various inhabitants of the forest and the ways deer live. When she felt Bambi was old enough, she took her daughter to the meadow- which she came quickly to learn that it was both a wonderful but dangerous place."

Why?

It leaves the deer exposed and in the open.

Not much really had changed when Bambi came to the big city. Sure, she got a boob job, a roof over her head, and a human nice make over thanks to fable produced glamour; alas no matter if you're in the meadow or city that exposed feeling never goes away. Bambi at first found the city to be absolutely terrifying, she often locked herself into her apartment for days on end, staring out the window with vacant eyes as the lights traveled by. "Oh..fuck me." she would sigh as the bills upon bills piled upon her kitchen table. The office never could help her with her bills either; she was on her own for that. Many times she was threatened to be sent to the farm for non-compliance, but she always managed to slip on by from biting the bullet.

Unlike her mother.

Eventually Bambi traveled out a little more each day, becoming familiar with her settings. Though, when news of someone being shot would play on her television set (either in movies or in the news) Bambi regressed back into her hermit ways, until she could feel she could travel once again. It was a long and painful process. However, as crime became less and less in the city (or so Bambi thought when she lost her cable from not paying the bills), Bambi traveled out into the mundy world as Barbara Greene: florist specialist assistant. As she built her resume up a little bit, she discovered she had quite the talent for growing things, and began slipping into a 'city' way of like, and began selling drugs to both fables and mundies alike.

Because of her quiet nature, she only has a few rare customers during the weekend.

Abilities:
Bambi when transformed into her fable state has incredible speed and strength. Ramming of antlers are easy pickings for jabbing out an eye or ripping out an artery. When concealed by glamour in the town, her only advanced ability is a touch of green thumb; giving her an easy time at both her jobs.

I have seen your tears and heard your prayers. Fear not, these children will not die.

Name: Xeno Romanov

Age: 47

Gender: Male

Magical Heritage: Unknown.

Biography/Personality: ”Your father has cursed me with his filthy seed!”

A woman screamed from her bed, her sheets soaked with the blood of a new child to come into the world. “You are a disease!” she groaned, pushing, crying in agony as the child made way through the birth canal. She didn’t believe in practical medicine any more than she believed in magic. “Die inside me you demon! Don’t trouble me with your breath, and please don’t trouble me with your life.”

At last, the pressure had stopped. Reaching down a trembling hand she felt the hot flesh of her son; the son who had been given to her by a demented wizard. The same man who had snuck into the life of the young woman through lies and false intentions. The woman’s slender finger tips began to trace along the baby’s soft cheek. It wasn’t long before she began to rise slowly from her position on her back and was hovering over the baby. He had not cried yet. He had not opened his eyes. The woman’s hand’s lowered between her legs, her fingers that once caressed the child now began to wrap around the fragile neck, squeezing, suffocating. She had to make sure the child was dead.

Eyes of bright silver burst from the closed eye lids of Xeno. He stared with intent, with confusion, and with anger. The mother let out a gasp, “No...It can’t be.” Her fingers began to burn to the touch as she pulled them away from the baby’s neck. She could never kill him now.

Xeno had the upbringing of a man, with no time to play and definitely no time to develop most social skills that other children had. He was strictly homeschooled and taught to trust no one but his mother. “Mother, what is my father’s name?” Xeno would ask often, and his mother would scream in disgust, “You do not have a father. You have me. You came into this world as a cancer to me, growing in my disease ridden body!” She would then proceed to lock him in her bedside trunk for the rest of the day. Often she would sit right beside it and smash her head against it until she bled or fell unconscious.

When Xeno’s mother fell ill, during his young adult years he spent a lot of time researching things at the library. He wasn’t allowed electronics nor many books, but while his mother rested all day he would sneak away to the library and engulf himself in many different subjects. His favorite research topics included genealogy, witchcraft, and oddly enough- fishing. Xeno was quite confused and scared with the knowledge of the first two subjects, but dug deeper into many realms of both the internet and novels of the fiction and non-fiction type.

“Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin” the young man mouthed the name out loud as he read the article on the internet before him. A sense of unease fluttered into his stomach as he lurched forward in the chair, his mouth filling with the taste of copper as trails of blood flowed from his lips and down his chin. His burly body threw itself back, and suddenly he became conscious of what was happening. He frantically tried to clean up the blood, but it wasn’t real. It was just an illusion, a lit match against the fuel soaked rag that was Xeno’s beginning of his journey.

Delving deeper in the genealogy of the man named Rasputin, Xeno found himself learning that he was a descendent of the Russian peasant, mystic, faith healer and private adviser to the Romanovs- his very own name sake. The woman that would be considered his grandmother was the very own daughter of Tsar Nicholas II; Grand Duchess Tatiana. Through various acts of rape, molestation, and incest- the line had trickled down to the train wreck that was Xeno Romanov.

Anger fueled Xeno when he approached his mother on the facts that he had discovered in the few years time. “You knew this!” he growled, attacking her physically as he grab and shook the woman. “I know nothing!” the woman pleaded, merely a feather in the grasp of the condor. He pressed her against the kitchen cabinet, his thick fingers wrapped around her neck squeezing as she had done once to him. “No” the woman gasped, clawing at his fingers frantically. It was no use, he was too strong, and she was too weak.

“Just like when I was born.”

Her dead body dropped to the floor with a sickening thud. Just like the night Xeno was born; he did not cry. He simply packed up all his personal belongings, and went out to find more answers; first starting at Rasputin’s grave site. Traveling to Russia, Xeno found information of his (multiple) great grandfather’s location of burial. Saddened to find that he was cremated, Xeno took initiative to find the ashes.

Years of searching high and low he found the information through many underground trading and dirty business deals. He brought the ashes back to his small room home next to the lake. As he sat in the bed holding the urn in his hands he for the first time in his life began to weep, “I am here.” he sobbed. “I am here” he repeated, uncapping the urn and taking out the ashes by the handful. His hand rose to his face as he began to rub the remains of his dead patriarch across his skin, and into his eyes and mouth.

His body convulsions sent him right on to his back as millions of images, scents, feelings, and thoughts filled his head and his memories. He had taken on Rasputin’s soul and powers through the digestion (or so he thought) of the man’s remains. It did not occur to Xeno at the time that he was the descendent of wizards and necromancers, and did not need to ingest anything.

By the time he did realize it, he had acquired quite the lovely taste for the dead.

Gaining his knowledge of the wizard world shone light on many dark areas for Xeno. He learned of wands and Hogwarts. He learned how to generate and use his powers to the fullest. This was heaven on Earth, he finally found somewhere he fit in. How could his mother want to hide this from him? Though Xeno’s mother wasn’t always right, her protection over her son was more than just ignorance; it was a curse given to her by the wizard who had impregnated her over 20 years ago. The curse was that the muggle woman had to hide and protect her child until she passed away from either natural or supernatural causes. It was at the death of the woman, that the curse would continue on in the child, and would live within that person and slowly kill them until they could pass the curse to their child.

Thankfully a muggle woman took the curse from Xeno, and in turn would eventually pass it onto her child. Xeno had no desire to keep a family; just like his father he used the opportunity of a paid one night stand to pass the curse. His plans included more learning of his crafts of the dark arts, necromancy, and the occasional fishing trip to relieve some stress by the lake at his home.

It wasn’t until he learned of his very own grand daughter that his interests became peaked. In a line of strictly men she was the only child of the curse to be born a female. “What would this do to the line?” he questioned, frantically looking through the records he had been keeping. There was no answer in his grasps; he would have to find help within the walls of the prestige Hogwarts for information about the curse. “But how?” he pondered, stroking his beard. He was too old to be a student. He was too untrained to be a teacher.

He needed eyes and ears on the inside.
